A great video - far better than the one from the SPAD maker himself, which hardly covers anything and doesn't even acknowledge that SPAD works with X-Plane and how to set it up!

I have been profiling my saitek multi panel following this excellent video guide. I notice that when using the mouse to operate, say the heading button in the simulation it lights up. My autopilot buttons do not light up to indicate on.

I do have one question, on the switch panel, then switches are working backwards. For instance, when I turn on the nav lights, they go off and vice versa. I am not sure why. If you can help I would appreciate it. Also do you plan on doing a video for the radio panel? thanks again......Steff300
In practice, can you delete the simulator configurations (xp11, p3dv4, fsx and c) and have all of them be managed by Spad? If yes, fsuipc for xplane and p3dv4, should it be installed anyway? When opening the panel settings, I am asked if I want to set default, xplane or simconnet, but which one should be set? I use all three simulators? Last question: if for example I 747 pmdg with 10 liveries, how can I tell spad to stop the same settings for all? Thanks for the assistance and info N.B: I bought the full version
I have Micforosft Fligth simulator 2020 I did not have to do any of that in 25:15 it just worked. But I also have the Logitech G Pro Flight Instrument Panel. I can't make that work. Downloaded the driver, still nothing on the display.

When you have something like these landing lights that need a macro, how to you figure out what the text needs to be for the .MCRO file? Thanks and keep making new videos please. Maybe some on the new 747-400 landing gear, etc or other more complex aircraft. Jerry
HondaJet100 hi there, and thanks for your comment. I'm so glad you found it helpful! The macro file is made up of LVAR commands, so I just do a Google search for something like 'LVARS Carenado Commanche' for example.

Hi. Are there any pre-made profiles for the specific Saitek device? In my case I have a Saitek Radio Stack. Looking at this video, It seems a bit laborious having to find every simulator command. Because of the amount of commands, there is a high risk of setting the wrong thing? It seems like a lot of work to do, and all you really want it to do is make the device work. If you can download a profile this would be very helpful. Obviously the profile can be tweaked after that? Many thanks for the video. J
Jools D hi, to my knowledge, profiles are only available per function, not for a device. I have the radio panel too, but I agree that setting each function separately is laborious, although it only has to be done once 😃
Hi I got it working earlier by loading a snippet it worked great for a bit. But it didn't save it. I really just need default a default set up. EDIT: Ok yes I found a good working default.
Jools D yep snippets are great for individual functions. Don't forget to update the profile when you make any alterations, as that should save all the changes 😃
Yes great thank you. I think I saved it. I did a flight just now and it all worked very well. Even the ADF came up...which I haven't seen before. I have this licence. FSX / P3D (no expiry) I assume I can use this for ever, but without updates?
Jools D really glad you got things working ok in the end. Re. license, you'd be best asking someone from SPAD support, but you should get automatic updates with yours, as I know I do with mine.

Maybe for your ATR you need to LVAR but if you manage to get your PMDG and your A T R please make a video thank you again for this great video will keep waiting for any new videos

Hi there, thanks, yes I do intend to try SPAD with the A2A 250, but I have been delayed by having to reinstall FSX, since for some reason the APP mode on any aircraft was not following ILS localiser. However all seems good after the reinstall, so I hope to do the next vid within the next couple of weeks :)
pito_ FSX_253 actually realised this morning that I configure the reversers with FSUIPC, and not SPAD. However, I will still do a video on how I've setup mine 😃

On the autopilot buttons you also need to add a light button to turn the ap light on

How do you make the switch panel power on and off the actual physical SAITEK radio and multi panels.. not just the virtual panels in the simulator
