It's not worth it. My relationship with God helped me get over lust. Far more better. But I still think About lustful things, but I ask God for forgiveness and pray for strength
c h i m m y, focus on Christ more than you focus on your wrongdoings. But in doing so, still be mindful of your actions. I used to find myself stuck in the cycle of self gratifying sin, but I found that the more of Him you let in, the more those desires and urges will be forced out. Because if you abide in Christ, He abides in you, and pours out the Holy Spirit. Through His strength, NOT your own, you will be able to break the cycle. I used to think I’d be able to stop with my own power, but it never worked out. I made promises to God, but broke them every time. But I began to truthfully seek His face and acknowledged His strength, which allowed Him to come into my life and transform me from the inside out. The first step is acknowledging that what you’re doing is wrong and is doing absolutely nothing for you (which it seems you understand). When you love Christ more than the feelings the flesh can give you, He will set you free. It’s not easy, but if you make up your mind and surrender those urges, He will meet you where you are. Let go, seek God, and let Him work for you as you live for Him. Never lose hope. He will complete the work he’s began in you so long as you abide in Christ. God bless you.

Hey brother, can you pray for me and my family. I was born and raised as a Christian. I thought every “good” person would go to heaven and I didn’t really fear God. Most of my high school I felt very lonely and depressed. I was questioning God and because of my depression demons got to me and I fell into addiction and the sins of the flesh. I also didn’t read the bible or pray during these times. What helped me during these times was listening to Christian music. Last year I started to take my relationship with God more seriously and started to pray and read the bible more. The more I read the word of God, the more I understood who God really was. With Gods help, I was able to turn away from my sins and I believe I’m saved. But, recently I get these demonic thoughts and these thoughts that I may go to hell even though I know I wouldn’t. I also fear that many people in my family maybe away from God for eternity. Plz pray for me and my family and that everyone in my family will truly love and serve God. I also appreciate that you are bringing many people to God and I pray that many more people will come to Christ through you. I apologize for my long comment 😂.
A similar thing happened to me after I became a believer but it was not demonic, but doubt that I was saved. I pleaded with the Lord to save me, to forgive me of all my sins and to take me to heaven with him when I died. I told him I believed in all that he did for me on the cross. I asked Jesus that I would never doubt again and I never have. Satan is the accuser, tempter, deceiver and distracter. I will pray for your reassurance, peace and salvation of all your family. I have that burden for my family too. It is hard but when we are with Jesus one day, remember we will be in perfect agreement with all God does. No more tears and sadness again. Lastly, you Know you are a true believer when you show fruit, when you turn away from your old ways and become more sensitive to pleasing the Lord. Ask him for the love and mind of Christ. Sir, you are right. Our American culture seems to look at humility as weakness and bolsters a lot of arrogance and dominance. Whether if it's from the men overly prideful of their abundant wealth, talents and family or the women who are overly prideful of their sometimes extreme feminist agendas, arrogance is all around us. I often have humility and I seem to always feel at peace when I see myself having this humility. I feel that there are things to improve within myself as an unfortunately lukewarm Christian, but thank you for spreading your message on humility. Great message and teaching! There is an order in the lord most don't understand it. Everything good in me is because of God. I fall short of God's glory everyday. I will continue to put others before me. It's the way I am because of God. Always back to God. One of my past preachers had cancer and doctors said they have done all they can. God spoke to brother Bon and told him to have the brothers in the church to wash his feet. They did as God said and he was healed no cancer. He had many testimonies but this was probably the most moving. A man of God is a humble man. Thank you brother Phillip for being a man of God! May God continue to bless you!

Makes me think of how the church is the bride of Christ. When we consider this, then we must realize how Christ protects, honors, loves, and guides his bride with a gentle hand and tender words. Also, he went so far as to lay down his life to reconcile to us. We look forward the to marriage supper of the Lamb and the resurrection of the just.

A similar thing happened to me after I became a believer but it was not demonic, but doubt that I was saved. I pleaded with the Lord to save me, to forgive me of all my sins and to take me to heaven with him when I died. I told him I believed in all that he did for me on the cross. I asked Jesus that I would never doubt again and I never have. Satan is the accuser, tempter, deceiver and distracter. I will pray for your reassurance, peace and salvation of all your family. I have that burden for my family too. It is hard but when we are with Jesus one day, remember we will be in perfect agreement with all God does. No more tears and sadness again. Lastly, you Know you are a true believer when you show fruit, when you turn away from your old ways and become more sensitive to pleasing the Lord. Ask him for the love and mind of Christ. Sir, you are right. Our American culture seems to look at humility as weakness and bolsters a lot of arrogance and dominance.
Whether if it's from the men overly prideful of their abundant wealth, talents and family or the women who are overly prideful of their sometimes extreme feminist agendas, arrogance is all around us.
I often have humility and I seem to always feel at peace when I see myself having this humility.
I feel that there are things to improve within myself as an unfortunately lukewarm Christian, but thank you for spreading your message on humility. You're a true Christian and I hope to become a better one soon.

Great message and teaching! There is an order in the lord most don't understand it. Everything good in me is because of God. I fall short of God's glory everyday. I will continue to put others before me. It's the way I am because of God. Always back to God. One of my past preachers had cancer and doctors said they have done all they can. God spoke to brother Bon and told him to have the brothers in the church to wash his feet. They did as God said and he was healed no cancer. He had many testimonies but this was probably the most moving. A man of God is a humble man. Thank you brother Phillip for being a man of God! May God continue to bless you!
