Praying without ceasing is a great exercise. The presence of God will be with you all day everyday.
I prayed for you all this morning. I'm 36 and my wife and I are dealing with bad things surrounding our family and church. We rely upon the strength of the Lord daily, and the Lord just keeps impressing upon me that as believers when we push through these mountains and challenges, God will always meet us. Sometimes we can't go around the mountain, or over it, but we have to go through it. I'm going through it right now and it's hard, but I'm in total reliance of the power of the holy spirit and His mercy on my life and family.

This is right we must resist what the flesh wants thank you i needed to hear that. I am listening thanks
I say a spiritual warfare prayer in the morning and during the day.We have been giving all the power over the enemy, yes the enemy will always attacks us but we do have weapons to be overcomers. I have peace and joy in my life that i never had when i was not walking with the LORD. I came out of drug addiction and a mountain of sins but God never left me. He is a good God. My life was a real mess but God was there when I fell to my knees and cried out for help He was there the only one I could rely on. I am no longer alone for He is with me 24/7.
I think we as Christians also forget to mourn and grieve throughout our suffering. God created us in His image, but we often reject our emotional health by suppressing our broken hearts, believing by rejecting any "negative emotions" that we are honoring the Lord. I think this is ungodly, and causes a lot of damage to our souls.
David, in the Psalms, is a perfect example of how to be in relationship with the Lord without negating our humanity. While suffering through turmoil& despair; he never denied how he felt, yet always ended the Psalm proclaiming the goodness of God and reminding himself of Who God is& what He has done for him. If he felt forsaken, he brought that before the Lord. If he felt abandoned or neglected, he brought that before the Lord.
Some people fear being emotionally intimate with Jesus or expressing negative emotions before Him, but He wants us to come before Him...
Job suffered so greatly yet the Lord never rebuked Him because he was in despair or expressed his grief, "Do you intend to rebuke my words, And the speeches of a desperate one, which are as wind".
God has compassion for us..Job was rebuked for justifying himself rather than God..for being self righteous..
You are not alone most of us are scared of the world Mathew: 13-30 we are in the times we must blend in to be silent apon the lord's comming.. may God be with you both. Amen..
Yes it is better to be with God and getting attacked by the devil because that's the refiners fire. That's the baptism of fire that I need
