That drone footage was 🔥🔥🔥 especially at 6:00
Great video. Both trucks are awrsome!!!
lol at least someone thinks the video is good 😂😂 facebook boys be hateing 😂thanks man ! 🤘
@Downtimelost lol that guy is an idiot. I expect everyone to use the truck for the exact same purpose as me and never do anything to the vehicle.
Your not trashing them, your using the truck and having fun. Your just using it for a different purpose than to just drive it to the store and work lol
@TonyTheTechnician exactly 😂😂
Both of yall's rigs are sic! And what a beautiful spot you all are in! Thanks for sharing! 💯💪🏼🤙🏼
Thanks homie I appreciate it 🤘🤘 this spot was stunning !
Didn't you get the Level up 2" front 1" rear? I made thru Moab with my 35s.
He just has the icon coilovers 1.25 up front and 0 lift in the rear , he recently bought a rear shackle drop in the rear after this day 😂
Another Awesome Video!! Great Drone footage, super AWESOME!!
Thank you so much 👍 I appreciate the support 🫶
How much psi you have the rears deflated?
15 psi is like my perfect spot !
@@Downtimelost Looks like its working well 👍
Why not lift the trucks an inch or two? Level up, peak, Hibachi springs, add a leaf. You won't have tire rub problems anymore.
He has the icon stage 4 kit , just were testing how much he needed to crank them coil overs up! it was a trial and error with his 35s but we got it all dialed after this trip 👌
Nice video bud! Do you think you would be able to do a comparison video between your buddy's Icon suspension vs your stock suspension?
Possibly we can get something going, I have a brief video on the comparison on the channel right now, definitely need to deep dive on it !
Beautiful drone footage, trux too, oc. You guys keep doin it.
Thanks brother ! 🤘🤘
*1:03** I don't rub, the only place it rubs is........*
Nice Fake Fire too!
😂😂😂 make me laugh when editing
Is that the Z71 2wd? I've got one very similar to yours 2017 2wd Z71. On 33" and 4" lift kit. Thinking maybe doing the suspension next.. 😱😅
Nah man they are both 4x4 ! Suspension is a game changer you should!
Tks for the info and the reply!
Most of the issue besides not enough lift is wheel offset. Mine are +20. No rubbing.
I have 0 on my rig with 35s and she’s chillen !
good footage trucks look gooood!
Thanks dawg ! 🤘 I appreciate it !
Soooo did the 35's destroy his truck or was his lack of preparation for fitting 35's the real culprit responsible?
He definitely needs more lift in the rear lol
Or was it the fact he stuck 35’s on a 2.7l turbo four banger
@@jonchase7752 drives great with 35s👍
if thats the spot im thinking of the road continues past your spot and gets you up to another epic view
🤫 don’t tell but yes lol
Ehhhh, the tires will help make the clearance they need if ya keep wheelin it!
When I did the triangulated 4-link conversion, I didn’t plan on that much more extra uptravel… it started clearing sheet metal out on its own until I could get adequate bumpstops 😂
Yeah we were just doing a day of self clearanceing 😂😂 dude I wish these trucks had suspension out yet 😭😭
Technically most tires will self clearance if you try hard enough.
Exactly my thought process too 😂😂
Set up going crazy
He’s lovin it ! 🤘
So... these Colorados can be optioned for factory lift and 35"s. Is it better to DIY and cave your truck up, or is it better to buy it from the factory?
I mean I like building my rig and don’t wanna pay for that bison tax 😂 would be nice tho !
I’ve seen quite a few guys blow out their front end suspension with icon. Not a fan at all. Went with fox 2.5 w/adjusters for my Colorado.
Nothin out yet for are Colorados only icon and Parker also got the for free so that’s cool lol
So I have a 24 canyon at4x will 295/70/18 with a 0 offset wheel fit with no problem. Pretty much a 34x11.5
Yeah that was my old tire set up and it was perfect!
I have a 24 AT4X too. Went up 2 inches in the front and 1 in the back. Bought a set of 35/11.5/17 Falkens on a +20 wheel. It barely rubs at full lock under articulation. Front only.
I love than tan! I can’t wait to trade my Tacoma on for one of these !!
Do it ! 💪
I drive a 24 zr2 bison colorado
35s on the bison dont rub at all
Yeah my homie need some lift lol I have 35s with 3 inch lift with some cutting and don’t rub lol
Love the videos bro keep em coming
@@SiLoc805 thanks man it means a lot ! 🫶
I did that to my ‘19 last weekend…. Time to cut it up!!
Yup the best part ! 😂😂😂
TAN GANG!!!!
I wish I had tan 😭😭
Personally not a fan of those giant tires on that mid size. I know it's a matter of opinion. They don't give much more sidewall when aired down really than a 33 for the amount of hassle they are causing. Maybe slightly more float on snow, but 33s or pizza cutter 34s are a much more intelligent choice for wheel travel and articulation imo. But 'merica!
I had some 34x10 pizza cutters and they we’re all right I just didn’t dig the look and TH-cam likes the go big or go home stuff 😂😂
Typically I’d agree with you, but I think both trucks look badass
@@jake1408 thanks man ! 🤘
@@Downtimelost Anytime! Ive got the ZR2, I’m in one of the groups with you on FB!
@@jake1408 hell yeah dude ! The group has been hateing on this video lmao 😂
Run the biggest tire they said. It would be fun they said... lmao 😅
Exactly 😂😂
beautiful place 🍺
So beautiful! 😻
both of you guys need the zr2s
I agree ! 😂
Well, duh, those tires are not even ready for that vehicle. We're trying to squeeze on things that are not ready from the factory. You just stupid surprise but all the after market stuff on there.Good luck trying to get warranty repair
I’ll take my chances for the fun
Taco>colorado😜😜 drone shots were epic!
Thanks dawg! 🤘
I remember when that happened to your truck 😔
It was fun because I was with u ❤️
Slightly used Colorado pick up for sale.😂
Yup ! Time to trade it in 😂
Looks like the icons are already leaking 💀
😱
Dude I've got 2500mi on my icons and they just started leaking. I'm livid
@@ztrain10289 sounds like icons to me

I hate to see damage like that. I guess my question is, why not start with ZR2's, or at least Trail Boss's, they come standard with lifts? I know it's more expensive, but I think it would have saved you both a lot of headache AND you'd get the capability you wanted because of the front/rear lockers. I LOVE having them at the touch of a button. It looked like the G80 wasn't helping much. I think (99% sure) I can fit 285/75/17's (34's only another 1/2" on a radius) on my '24 ZR2 OEM wheels without mods and fit the spare under the bed, which is mandatory for me. If I can't fit the spare under the bed, I'll stay on the 33's. I plan on getting an aluminum skidplate for the rear diff and gas tank, and MAYBE a 2" lift, and that's it. I figure it's 95% of a Bison for thousands of dollars less. Nice vid though, is that Payson UT? I'm fairly familiar with that area from riding a sportbike thru there a number of times.
I bought and started upgrading my z71 befor the zr2 was even out lol and I love building and upgrading rigs so that’s what I’ll do trailboss interior look the trash I have all the bells and whistles on my z71 eventually want to long travel and real locker in the rear and I’m set. Iv done some crazy trails in sand hollow with mine and she did great , I have a video on my channel about it , and yes ! Payson Arizona area
@@Downtimelost Yeah, I had to wait for mine, when when I found one FINALLY coming to my local dealer, it literally sat on the lot 2 days before I got it. I think Chevy should have made the rear locker an option on Z71 and certainly Trail Boss, but left the front locker for the ZR2 to keep it special. I used my front locker and 4Lo for the first time 2 weekends ago and man, it was awesome! Crawled up a steep loose hill like it was nothing, no slip at all from any of the wheels, my buddy filmed it. I wonder if the rear axle etc. could be swapped out for factory parts instead of putting an ARB in it? Oh, never been to Payson AZ, I meant Payson UT, south of SLC. Now that I see it, I might have to get down to Payson AZ! Keep wheelin' and making vids!
@@kx8960 thanks dawg that means a lot ! 🤘
