I feel that Elizabeth didnt pay too much attention to Nathan, she seems to feel upset or just awkward in his presence yet Nathan confesses his love to her. I dont feel it flawless. If it was Lucas then this scene would have been more appropriate in my opinion. I think Elizabeth will end up with Nathan, I just hope that she opens her heart to him and allows her true feelings come to light.

Lucas is trying to get to know her and do things for her! He wants her happiness and respects her. Nathan is not. Nathan is not trying to spend time with her, to get to know her and do things for her but expects of her to fall in love with him! I don’t like Nathan because of that and I think it is selfish of him. Lucas is patient and doesn’t try to go fast because she is not fully ready. Nathan just tells her he’s in love with her but she is not ready for that yet.
what about the many times Nathan tried to go out or do things for Elizabeth but was interuppted, what about the time he spent hand carving her a plaque, what about the fact he said let me know when your ready instead of pushing her, even here he is not pushing her, she brings it up first, and then when he talks back she rides off without telling him no or yes, but just I can't which makes it look like she does love him but is afraid. also Lucas says he's patient but he made her go on a date with him when she'd said no to dates at the time with his non-date date. and sent her book off without asking, and also booked tickets to the reading without checking it was okay with her and once he'd spent the money she'd naturally feel obliged to go. and even him breaking up was kind of forcing her to hurry her decision becuase he made her think if she didn't choose him right then she'd never get the chance, so she made a quick decision out of fear of losing him when she hadn't actually got herself balenced with her grief and loss yet. I was team lucas but I changed to Nathan and then back again and then i realised i'm actually team elizabeth and whatever i'm shown will be best for her. both characters are realisticlly flawed and i like them both.

I feel it is unfair to make another Mountie a Love interest. Unfair to Elizabeth as she has to go through all the fears again. A better Storyline would go something like this in my opinion: "Nathan comes to Hope Valley for a different job. And him and Lucas both try to get Elizabeth's hand. As a Mountie, for a change lets get a married man with kids, so a whole new family gets introduced." Its been a while that we have seen any parents-child story (can't remember any full family in the show recently) where Elizabeth will try to fix any problem the child is going through. I miss that 🥺

I feel it is unfair to make another Mountie a Love interest. Unfair to Elizabeth as she has to go through all the fears again. A better Storyline would go something like this in my opinion: "Nathan comes to Hope Valley for a different job. And him and Lucas both try to get Elizabeth's hand. As a Mountie, for a change lets get a married man with kids, so a whole new family gets introduced." Its been a while that we have seen any parents-child story (can't remember any full family in the show recently) where Elizabeth will try to fix any problem the child is going through. I miss that 🥺
Estou comentando com todos, estou triste até agora em saber que o ator saiu, e colocou o Jack como morto, mas tem como ele voltar, voltaria com a perda de uma perna e com a mente restaurada e os policiais iriam explicar que ele havia sumido quando caiu do morro e por isso que colocaram como morto e nem apareceu no caixão, o público iria vibrar muito e a Elizabeth e seu filho Jack Jr. iriam ficar mais alegres 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
that's why he said he'd quit the mounties Elizabeth means more than his Job to him, wheras with Jack the Job was a calling and he coulden't give it up, Elizabeth assumes here that she can't ask him to give it up becuase she assumes that it was his calling too. wheras actually it was more a job he chose to make repayment to the world for his fathers theivery, his focus is more on Family.
