This comic shows how Sonic and Tails are inseparable, one can't live without the other, and their friendship is strong and can never be broken. I cried at the beginning and smiled at the end, still crying. lol

This needs to be cannon. Tails has abandonment issues for obvious reasons so he should get an arc showing those issues. And he’s already proven how heroic he is so why in these modern games are they making him spineless??? HES ALREADY OVERCOME THAT SEGA STOP FUCKING UP HIS CHARACTER

I've seen that comic before and its good to see it dubbed so well.
Here's hoping Tails can get involve in the next adventure (Frontiers) as a playable character, and not be benched again for some bad tribute act with barely enough personality to fill a sandwich and even less or a reason to be there, some no name Joe with a silly little toy gun, or aliens that act as stand ins to allow Sonic his function of flight. Its been 15 years since he was last playable in a mainline 3D game, and the kid is long overdue another chance to shine!
If Ian Flynn writing then the character will be well writing the problem is sega making then playable tho
@@painvillegaming4119 I hope he does better than he did on Rise of the Wisps, because that was absolutely terrible, and then the following day after its finale was released episode 9 of Sonic and Tails R dropped and even with the lack of visuals it blew it completely out of the water. Plus it confirmed my suspicions on Mike Pollock's absence from ROTW, in which he was busy doing bigger and better things.
EDIT I learned Flynn did not write ROTW, I misremembered from reading he was consulted upon another project and I suppose I seemed to think he had ties to the Colors short, but I was wrong. It was Tyson Hesse who actually wrote it. It still sucks though.

@@painvillegaming4119 I want to have faith myself, but I had faith for Forces that it would be turning the corner and starting to take itself more seriously again after its first trailers, but instead it was just more of the same from the Meta Era, stories where nothing matters. Like you have the villain (Infinite) who's theme song lyrics seem to suggest that he could be an interesting character with a vendetta against Sonic, only for him to be some nobody who threw a hissyfit because Shadow called him weak. Sonic has been tortured for six months, though when we see him he barely has a scratch on him, and is still cracking the same unfunny jokes he's been doing since 2010, chilling as if he's been on an extended vacation. Tails' supposed mental breakdown due to grief over Sonic's death, but when we next see him he seems fine. And then there's inescapable Null Space. No establishing cutscene to build dread, just hit the ground running and boost to win and you're out of there in 20 seconds or less (while 06 with its ruined future gave you actual levels). Is it any wonder why I found the sun that may or may not be real hard to take seriously as a means of danger given it seems like there's a genuine lack of stakes. But we shall see...

It's not actually Sonic's fault, it's SEGA's fault for being so trash when it comes to story making.
Technically it's sonic teams fault. Sega just published the games. And even again technically it's the writers fault.

There's fault at all levels of development. The current writers may be idiots, but SEGA has a significant say as well. And the same goes for the management level of Sonic Team.
And... it's the fan base, or at least a part of them. The part that points at only the worst of the series' supporting cast and tries to say that EVERYTHING about the supporting cast is bad and that the games should be reduced to Sonic vs Eggman. And it's the fault of reviewers who say the same things.

If Sega kept the continuitynfrom "Lost Worlds", it would've been cool to see Tails in his cyborg armor/costume again. I think Sega removed it,cause they thought the look would either damage his character or made him come off as overpowering. I think it would enchance his abilties if there was a fan game created around that aspect.
It's for the best, and Tails already had that arm cannon from that spin off game.

Not really. I think this is well more flawed and decent. It shows how much of the times Sonic has often left Tails out on missions which Sega really needs to get the hint of.
Here it feels more real and better than Archie Comics has done. I think this must be in canon at some point, a conflict between Tails and Sonic but for reasons and not because of Sonic's inflated ego including that they got into a fight over a girl lol.

I made a tails with epoxi clay when she and i become best friends. It was like a natural contract of friendship. Humans always make mistakes. And i learn of that mistake, but with a high price that i never could recover again. It was my second chance. Life changes. We must value all in our lifes. This dub makes me sad to remember her. The emotion is here ! The comic itself is emotional. This is Tails back to its happy days always in new adventures with Sonic. The 06 music fits so well. This how we should see the famous friendship btw Sonic and Tails. Don't mess this up if it happens in Sonic Frontiers. And now I can't stop thinking about Sonic 06, still, a glitchy game but with a lot of cool features. Please SEGA, don't deny your failures and in controry, remake Sonic 06 in better. You can proove it, just to it GOOD 😭.
This is one of my all time favourite comic dubs. So much emotion and depth. Fabulous work by the cast and artist. Simply outstanding.
Great job. I never even thought about what Tails would feel or think in their universe. So far he's been doing his best, even with his character regression, and we, or Sonic has done little to encourage the two tailed little brother we know and love.

Maybe if he helped Sonic fight the villains instead of letting him get knocked out he'd not have gone with Rookie who was infinitely more helpful and was crucial to win the war. Tails literally bent over towards Chaos 0 when he defeated Chaos 4.
I blame that bad tribute act for how Tails is shown in Forces, because they even had him cowering before Egg Pawns of all things!
Had Tails been allowed to look credible people might be wondering why Classic (Sonic) was even there, more so than might have been already. Instead, Tails must look weak to make Classic look stronger than what he is, as well as carry that faker's mute ass across the whole story, even though Classic could have been easily dropped and nothing would have changed at all.
Imagine how different a game, and story, Forces could have been had Tails, along with Amy and the others, been playable rather being benched for a couple of mutes with barely enough personality between them to fill a sandwich, and one (Classic) having even less of a reason in being there.

Hopefully we can get tails as a playable character or if we even get any playable characters like Amy, Knuckles, Tails, or shadow in frontiers, they’ll play a major role in the game’s plot. Because Sega has been downgrading Tails and the other characters.
Ok, first of all, Chip was a casualty of Eggman. Gadget, admitedly, got himself involved when you were to afraid to take action, and the younger Sonic was (maybe) open for more action-oriented cooperation, so you only have to blame yourself on the last two.
Bruh. Plus, you could have invented devices to help you be by your amigo's side, and yet the Miles Electric and the Tornado upgrades are your most recent work (in the games)

Imo Chip is just better than Tails in every way lol. But there's no reason for Tails to be sidelined in modern day. The focus of Unleashed was on Chip and Sonic's relationship. But the story of Forces obviously suffered from the way Tails was treated, and how he was replaced with the avatar.
