I would love to see the goalies bring the pain on those inside rolls from goal-line extended. The slide is usually very late or non-existent, and when the attack is spinning around the last thing they are expecting is the goalie's shoulder in their chest. I wouldn't be surprised if these 2 teams meet again in the championship game.
You can't move 10 feet or more in the time they can roll. Besides these attackman are so good if you get there the ball is going in the goal anyway. As a goalie I have found it best to just stay home.
@@kelvintawiah it’s because guys are too good. That might work once in a game but attackmen at the college and pro level are way too crafty and skilled, it’s an easy shot around the goalie or a cross crease feed to a wide open net
@@biduukorona3304 And Maryland only beat Syracuse by 5 and Princeton by 4. Try to explain this fluke any other way other than UVA playing like crap. Not salty because UVA about to dick Maryland in the playoffs anyway 💀
@@Gborohooo UVA did not have an answer at FOGO, nor did they win the GB game. Nail in the coffin was the 4th qtr goal from MD D during the UVA 10 man ride.
@harmlessrumble I only got recruited by multiple top div 3 schools and then transferred and led MCLA D2 nationally in midfield goals but ok lol. I saw a sloppy UVA team lose to a Maryland team that was playing well. Same thing with UVA v Richmond.
1. Losing 17-16 is not a choke. 2. Scoreboard! 3. The performance by the Maryland team for the entire season was stellar, historic. For the entire season, Maryland trailed in the second half once, for a few briefs minutes (to ND I think). The 2006 Virginia team was the finest I've ever seen - until Maryland 2022.
Been looking forward to this one all week. Thanks again for making these!
No problem!

I’ve been saying this for years, I don’t why it doesn’t happen more often at the college and professional lvl

Damn... Terps clapped that. OP
Virginia played like shit. Somehow, a team that only beat Notre Dame by 2 beats UVA by 10+. This is a fluke
@@Gborohooo lmao ND got lucky Terps missed about 6 one on one break away goals. Love when I read salt on my screen

Finally
Finally lol
Did maryland win every face-off??
Not every, I think it was like 25 to 14 or something like that.
These announcers are tough.. "he shimmies" when really should be doing justice to a great hitch to the middle... announcers get it together!
Joe B is a saint
Nice for a regular season game but I kinda forget who choked last year?
Hardly a choke. Every matchup between the two has been competitive save this thrashing.
