Duke doesnt use him like Notre Dame uses Pat Cav, or how Albany used Thompsons or Fields, etc. Duke doesnt ever really run their offense through a single player, for better or worse. I dont think he plays exactly poorly, he just isnt "game changing" in the way people expect. Not sure if it is a system thing or not, but you dont really ever see Oneill taking a game completely into his hands. But, he will excel as an off ball shooter at the pro level, and probably will play alot of Indoor as well professionally. I dont see why they arent setting him up for big dodges down the left alley, sweeps from the top to his left, dodges from the right wing. There are plenty of ways to ISO with him even if he has one handed tendencies, if you are actually trying to run everything through Oneill. Duke is content to run their system even to a fault
@@LyricsbyGutter I appreciate your reply, thanks for your insight. I don’t get why Duke won’t play more through him. The commentators during the games don’t get it either
Man that's some high level lacrosse.
I met Pat and Chris and their genuinely nice people
paul carcaterra glazes pat kavanaugh like he’s mahomes
😭😭😭
I mean he absolutely torches every team, and had 2 before Duke even loaded into the game
Watching the Cavanaugh play lacrosse is such a treat. I hope the bandits pick up one of them in the next draft.
It's with a K
Cavanaugh masterclass

Amazing to me how in lax you really don’t have to be big to just crush
