Why do we get old?, the current human condition I'm afraid, the idea of beauty changes, us guys, the "beauty" is substituted with Wisdom, Nobility, wealth. The wisdom comes the easiest, we know what works & what doesn't. The wealth comes from the extensive time & the (hopefully) wise choices. The nobility comes from those "suits & ties" we mocked when we were younger, they just fir our style better now. It is the women who have it the hardest, the concept of beauty seems stuck in youth...but again, an air of nobility seems to work fine. No time like now to try new things, learn new things, don't put off till tomorrow, or the next week, or the next year.
I agree about the bonus tracks. The Madness Of Roland is such a dark and wonderful song.

May 13th I attended their concert in Milwaukee,Wisconsin & I chatted with guy next to me (2 rows from stage) I mentioned Mel & he said his friend was on tour w/ King Crimson & Mel was with them.
The other Genius who was instrumental (literally) in composing ELEMENTAL w/Roland
was Alan Griffiths , and sadly he passed away just before the May concert.
The good thing is MUSIC NEVER DIES, so His Legacy Lives on.

What Album was this on? I'm a longtime TFF, Roland fan. How'd I miss this one?
It was released in 1996 on Saturnine Martial & Lunatic, a collection of B-sides and some hidden tunes. It was intended to be released in Seeds Of Love album but with the frustrated early sessions of the composition of the new album (and Ian Stanley's quitting the project), it just didn't make it. However, later in 1999 Always In The Past was included as a bonus track for the Remastered CD version of The Seeds of Love released by Mercury Records.
It was recorded during the Seeds of Love sessions. It was recorded during a lull. Curt had nothing to do with the track, I think.

Does anyone know if this song was recorded post-Curt Smith, or while the two were still together? I noticed the video has almost zero clips of Curt, and seems to be pretty much all Roland.
I know it's attributed to Seeds Of Love, but could it have been intended for the album, but left on the shelf, and not recorded by Roland until after the break-up?
I also own that album but it doesn't have most of the songs that Kayliebree lists below. Searched on line and got nothing... hmmm. Now I am obsessed.... gotta find them. Will live in the "suicide ranks" until I do.
