      That isn't going to happen. They've lost too many players. Two years from now and they should be in good position to make a run for it.

    What this Sooner team has done is staggering. There is not and has not been for a long time if ever a team good enough to win four National championships consecutively. They're win and loss record is mind-blowing, Serious, congratulations to this team and the staff. BOOMER SOONER !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    God has nothing to do with sports people sure faith is good but their success had everything to do with practice dedication skill and some level of luck. NOT GOD

      Sure it does! He designed our bodies to jump, run, react, etc. Sports are AWESOME for your body and mind, building character, teamwork, reducing stress levels, etc. He has gifted these young ladies to play this sport. Whether it’s genetically and/or the motivation to be great at a high level, His workings are evident.

      @@itsChristianityExplained evident? Is it still evident when the other teams lose? Did he dictate that they and the others lose? Did the others not pray enough? Or is it more likely OU was just better

  • @rosenberghoward549
    @rosenberghoward549 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

    So are we to believe God (pick your pronoun) chose OU over Texas? God took time off from Ukraine, Gaza etc. to check in with the Women's College World Series? Look, I'm an ardent Sooner alum. I love this team, love the girls, respect their talent and passion. And Gasso is obviously a great, great coach. But I wonder, with all the soul saving, would a Jew or Muslim be welcome on this team? If so, would she sit in the corner while everyone else prayed for her soul?

    • @garyhughes2446
      @garyhughes2446 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I would never claim to be able to answer all of your questions at all but I firmly believe that that Jew or Muslim would be allowed to sit wherever it wanted to and would probably be prayed for also.

      No, you are missing the point. God has blessed them as they have publicly acknowledged Him and His presence in their lives. Not to make them win softball games but to win souls by going out into the world in public venues (including worldwide television coverage) to praise God and talk about their love for Him and His love for them.

    Sports doesn't have anything to do with God's Kingdom... That is a very Greek thing. Whether God gets the glory out of any of your victories or experiences is immaterial.
    I don't see one mention in the Bible of any sports team... Except when it says physical exercise profiteth little... So stop giving us your perceptions of God. Because you're not explaining Christianity. You're explaining apostasy in the church. Godliness is great gain...

    • @itsChristianityExplained
      @itsChristianityExplained  18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Your post is not profiting anyone. Any tool that is used to forward the gospel is good. Read 1st Corinthians 19-23 specifically “ I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.” In a world where twerking is the “In” thing to do, these young ladies are deciding to give God the glory on the biggest stage of all. Is it sinful to play a sport?
      Also you are using scripture out of context. Paul is explaining 1 Timothy 4:8, physically fitness is less important when it comes to living a godly life. This is not a general statement. Please make sure you are using scripture properly or keep your comments off this channel.

      You’re going to spend eternity in one of two places; one is with God and the other is without Him. Your choice.
