This surah starts with the miraculous birth of isa [jesus] [peace be upon him]. it goes on to mention some other prophets of islam: Adam, Idris [possibly Enoch], Nuh [Noah], Ibrahim [Abraham], Ishaaq [isaac], Yaqub [Jacob], Isma'il [ishmael], Musa [Moses], Harun [Aaron], Zakariyya [zacharia], and Yahya [John] PEACE BE UPON THEM ALL.

I listened to this surah through my pregnancy, as I was having a homebirth and thinking about Maryam giving birth alone under a tree helped me have the courage, I had a girl alhamdulillah and called her Maryam 😍this is also the surah I first read as a non muslim and it went straight to my heart and I knew Islam was the truth ♥️may Allah guide us all

You can seek treatment and also cry to Allah your wish of bearing a child, if it’s good for you, it will come to you. If Allah chose something different for you, you will get your reward in different ways sister. He knows our hearts better and he won’t bear a burden that we can’t handle.

My wife used to recite when she was carrying a twin baby on her belly. mashaAllah. She has a good expereince with this surah. we select the name of Prophet Jesus(peace be upon him)'s mother's name Marry(peace be upon her) for our daugther.
When I listen maher voice in makkah I m just surprised such a beatifull voice heart touching

My favourite Surah in the Quran- or I say in my top three. I love how brave Maryam A.S was even when she see Angel Jibreel from afar yet wasn’t scared even though she didn’t know who he was. The compassion Isa A.S showed to defend his mum when Mary returned with him. Lastly how Zaccariya AS was gifted with a son! I pray your children have these qualities instilled within them and are means of your jannah! AMEEN ha Kareem.

Mahir you are my fav reciter. I listen to this surah every night and it puts me to sleep immediately. And I LOVE ❤️ the part when he says حتى (Hatta). ماشاءالله (MashaAllah) You are the only reciter I listen to.

Every surah should be your favourite.
This surah touches my soul not only bc of Maryam AS, her age, braveness and modesty with fierceness. But bc the love of my life introduced me to this surah and Maher. 4 years later I still think of her RS and a part of u lives with me as this is my fav surah (our fav surah). Pls pray I forget RS and find a righteous beautiful spouse I can lead to jannah. She’s married, I miss her and the thought of her never escapes my mind 🥲. Help me ya Rabbi find someone I love more than I miss and loved her
Subhanallah just realised this surah is amazing linguistically, at the end of every verse it rhymes with the next verse. Take a look yourself!! Beyond a miracle to have so many rhymes in a 17 minute surah

Brothers and sisrers in Islam, i was struggling to conceive for 4 years since my wedding and now Allah sw has blessed us by reading Quran and this surah i am now 6.5 months pregnant. ❤ please make dua for me that i deliver safely and have a healthy bub and be a healthy mum as i am diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. Currently on strict diet and insulin injections 3 times per day. They said will induce me earlier as well. Please please Ummah make dua for us. Jazakallah kheyr.
