Another method is the use of Kaijus, but PK users and their "The Phantom Knights' Rank-Up-Magic Launch" into a Ophion lowkey "prevents" Kaijus being possible in the first place even! One good thing out of all this nonsense: My hated enemy Phantom Knights are getting their killed left and right by Agent players.

Heat wave should at least be mentioned. Sacky 1 of that floodgate you for 1 turn. It will probably go to 1 if konami even considers it a problem card. Also i personally think that even if pk is not top tier anymore, ophion is still a really annoying floodgate that kills a lot of decks and that wasn't supposed to be used by decks other than evilswarms. It would be ideal to put some other pk card to 1 to prevent them from playing it

It's because of "The Phantom Knights' Rank-Up-Magic Launch" being very generic enough for Phantom Knight users to easily Rank up a Rank 3 Phantom Knight of Break Sword they revived from the graveyard into Evilswarm Ophion and "searchable" trap card that can bounce 2 cards that I can't even play my D/D/D deck anymore and forced to play other lower level decks or Link based decks. Ophion should be Limited to 1. As well as the PK Rank-Up-Magic card I just mentioned being put on the Limited 3 list too.

I don't know why people keep acting like Heat Wave is only effective turn 1 when the skill lets them ignore it at any point. The only thing it prevents them from doing is summoning Alternative or an extra deck play. They can still summon Spirt while under Heat Wave which means Successor Soul is also still live.
2 years of not playing duel links and I’ve been back for a month. Been kicking butt with a Mecha Phantom Kaiju deck. It’s really really good. 😮 Used my dream tickets right and made a really great rogue deck than can fight nearly anything on this tier list. Agents beat me if I go first though. They’re really strong.

Rokkets have no innate defense against Dark Hole though... Of course I tech Void Ogre, but it's hard to make without opening Quick Launch and Awakening.

The decks aren't the problem. It's the skill. The skills are the problem. Look at battle chronicle lol. Free summon beatsticks all day long and search for removal.
Fairy dragon needs to be put on the same limit spot as summon breaker to future proof that mess. Watching someone combo off and then search a flood gate that says you cant is never gonna be fun.
Summon breaker is really degenerate given the meta decks rn can easily get their own field spells and also set up negates w/ it. & yeah, dragons getting so much draw power is absurd alongside their skills. There has not been many metas recently where dragons weren't broken.

I expect a skill hit that restricts what can be summoned in main deck (like Clear Wing Acceleration), a main deck restriction (like Traptrix's Ground), or only turning 1 Fairy into a Tuner per turn. For Rokkets, they should only be able to search Dragons with a combined 4000 ATK + DEF. Also, Heat Wave and Dragon Master Knight will go to 1. Heat Wave can be used in other decks but none of those decks are meta. Also, Shiranui Stall Samsara to 2 or 3, though I am biased.
Agents can ftk btw. The bad thing about it is, that they either ftk, and if they don't draw their ftk stuff, they can still just summon breaker you, which makes it even worse, and probably even better for climbing in the kc cup
Also I dont see Darklords being freed unless the game reaches Master Duel levels of power creep, since it can still potentially lead to some problematic loops
Problem with Geddon knight is that its not OPT, on any summon, and Dark & Warrior are two of the most supported aspects of the game, it can stay Limit 3

Limiting melody to 3 is enough as it, by default, gets rid of crackdown. Blue-eyes would be fine as a deck with that. Hitting spirit as well is just way over the top
The only sole reason it's still on the ladder is because of the Friendship event fr. Easier solution: Force the Battle Chronciles Skill to only allow the user to special summon Blue-Eyes or Dragon Type Monsters from the Hand, Deck, AND EXTRA DECK! We really shouldn't be seeing "Dingirsu, the Orcust of the Evening Star" being summonable in that deck.
Limit 2 all hand traps and generic floodgates. Nerf all the dumb broken skills (broken skills are a big reason floodgates are seeing so much play), like Agents don't actually need a skill. Also move Whispers to limit 3 with Purple and Memory.
Another for the unlimits, Dragonpit Magician. pend Call is fair to keep off some of the really degen stuff, but since the skill nerf, Dragonpit is probably fine.

The issue is some non tiered archetypes struggle with back row removal in general, if a single spell is capable of ruining your execution. The deck may not be very good to begin with. I'd say limited 3 is fair as it takes away powerful traps & spells already being paired with it.

Limit 3 their draw 2 spell card to 3 then. Clearly you don't understand what it's like to sit for 2 minutes waiting for their turn to end so you can break it unless you play Orcust.
No card nerfs needed, only skills. Agent should only be able to normal or special summon the agent monsters, synchro monsters and normal fairy monsters and NOT EFFECT fairy monsters, except the agent monsters. No more Sky scourge, Angel o7, Banisher of the light, Condemned witch, you name it. Summon breaker, necrovalley and zombie world are not the problem. Ancient fairy dragon is. Also most meta decks have floodgates. Heat wave is probably too much but it's just one. Rokkets don't need to be able to search Lancea or Iblee. That's it.
Red Eyes Undead Reborn, Tuning in the sky, Shiranui Style Successor, and Borreload link. They literally let you add cards (plural) that can activate multiple effects. That makes the duels longer.

Storm and Charge might be candidates for being free, the last one is more a wish than anything, but idk why Storm is still a limit 1.
agents need more of a hit than that, toxic deck needs master Hyperion and mystic shine ball to 3. that should bring it down to a fair power level.

No card nerfs needed, only skills. Agent should only be able to normal or special summon the agent monsters, synchro monsters and normal fairy monsters and NOT EFFECT fairy monsters, except the agent monsters. No more Sky scourge, Angel o7, Banisher of the light, Condemned witch, you name it. Summon breaker, necrovalley and zombie world are not the problem. Ancient fairy dragon is.
Also most meta decks have floodgates. Heat wave is probably too much but it's just one. Rokkets don't need to be able to search Lancea or Iblee. That's it.
