I always enjoy the mizuno guy ... you can tell he's s club tech geek and that makes me think all the team is like that so they gotta passion to make great clubs rather than just turn them out year after year like other manufacturers!!! Cant wait for the reviews !! Keep up great work lads !!
Always a fabulous treat to have Chris Voshall from Mizuno share his passion and insights on the design and engineering in their new drivers and woods as well as the insightful discussion with Ian. Well done TXG.
So cool and impressive that Chris continues to make it a priority to come and talk face to face about the new products! Love getting his perspective on the design process and hearing first hand what the thought process was for the new line.
Always love to see Chris on the channel... Dude is so genuinely proud of the products they have released as he should be... Mizuno is absolutely killing it these last few years in the entire bag... They're not just an iron company anymore
It's always educational when you have Chris and Ian bantering about club technology. It's so refreshing to hear such a knowledgeable and credible company representative such as Chris.
I have the ST190 and Chris was spot on with who plays this club. I have slow swing speed. I absolutely love this driver. I love listening to Chris and Ian. Very informative. Getting used to my CLK.
Took me a full season to find a 3 wood. Absolutely love the st190. Have always played titleist woods and Mizuno irons but the st190 is just so much better for me. I am excited to see the differences between st200 and st190. Great vid as usual guys! Keep em coming
Huge fan of Mizuno......got fitted for JPX 919 Forged and T20 Wedges last year and absolutely love them. Buying a new driver soon and will definitely give the ST200 a look.
I've been a Mizuno iron player for over 20 years and I am so psyched to see Mizuno putting in a real effort for all their wood lines. I must say I have only had one Mizuno driver and that was the MP-001. Now there's a blast from the past! Even had the carbon fiber crown way back then! I love how some companies today that have the carbon crowns make it sound like they were the first. Fingers crossed for ya Mizuno!
Perhaps the best thing about this new lineup is the absolute smoking deal you can currently get on the 2019 woods. Impulse bought the 2019 CLK 3/4 hybrids, ST190 Fairway and ST190 Driver last night for an absolute steal. So excited to get my new woods to go with my JPX 919 Forged irons. I’m a huge Mizuno fan. Just PLEASE don’t forget about us lefty players going forward Mizuno!
Always enjoy your content with Chris! You both have such a great ability to distill a lot of technical information into simple understandable terms... And now my choice of what new driver to get in 2020 got even more difficult haha!
Great intro , Chris is always excited about his product lineup. Can’t wait to see Matty Boy Crush that ST200 driver ! Maybe will be in the running for me picking a new driver along with G410+ and TM SIM MAX ! Getting rid of my F9, not forgiving enough with weight forward
Mizuno is really stepping up their woods game. I was real close to getting their 919 forged but went with the original p790. 790 was first for me and the 919 was 1a. I'm in the process of gettingbtheir S18 wedges (since they're at a cheaper price now that the T20 has been released). Next time I need a wood or driver, I'd def give their product a shot.
Right, 4th day into terminal Man Flu, but everything is cool cos I can sit back and enjoy Chris & Ian talking golf tech for 20 mintutes🙏👍 (Mintutes) wtf is a (Mintute), this is now getting seriously weird I seem to have mucus of the brain!!!!!!!!
Hopefully this line of woods have a weight kit you can get. I'm playing ST190G now and messaged Mizuno asking about getting some heavier weights and they said they don't make or sell them. I was really bummed about that. I really love the look of these drivers though!
Love the idea of the lower spin with 400/500 rev adjustability .. I hit Driver 4-5 on the up so tend to play not a high lofted driver (8 - 9 deg) but at times can spin up at 2800+ which is no good over here in windy West Coast Scotland My question is - moving the weights from the front (low spin ,less forgiving) to the back (more spin ,more forgiving) is a difference of around 1.5 degree loft . Is this correct !!
Hi, I’ve recently bought the standard ST200driver in 9.5 degrees the first round I played I was really impressed going against my TS2 driver I would say 8-12 yards longer I know it’s dependent on strike run etc but it was longer on the day. I played on Sunday and decided to knock the loft down by 0.5 as the face looked a tad open which I hadn’t noticed before, by the way on the first round I missed 1 fairway and only just so why change you might ask! Well it’s like I said the face seemed open so my conclusion was even 0.5 made a difference in flight which I’m not sure was the right decision to make although I hit the ball very well and I did notice that it definitely is a lot lower spin going off the amount of run I got even in a very wet UK. I just wondered if you found this the case is the face open at address? I’m so impressed I’m thinking of saving up for a 3 wood as I can’t afford one now but many of my golfing pals asked about the driver as I never said a word about it they were going off my consistent drives and I had my own head cover on so they assumed at first it was my TS driver so I think going off what they said there could be more Mizuno drivers in play this year. Thank you in advance. 👍👍👏
I love my ST190 with Oban shaft. ~270 carry with 2100 rpm. Feel like the 190 was made for me, feels great too. But curious to see a 190 vs 200 video. Maybe I’ll try it.
Hey Nicholas. Head weights of the standard and the G are around 204-205 (adapter included), the X is about 10 grams lighter. Similar numbers to the 190, but the 10.5 head of the 190 was light.
Two questions regarding the ST200 drivers, is the back weight available in different options? I had to hotmelt my head which probably voided my warranty. Will LH have more head choices than like the one for ST190? Great to hear that there'll be upgraded shaft options available this year. The Atmos Black 6 was too light for me, looking at the full Ventus or CK Pro series is far better for guys who have more speed than average.
Hey Brandon aka Camera 3 next time Chris is in for a visit I wanna see lots more BS, (very fond of TXG BS by the way) no not bullshit it’s Behind Scenes, because it’s gotta be absolute gold between these two just chatting over tea. Gotta be way to get this bonus footage someway isn’t there cause it would be worth every penny of a membership, sorry nickel if your Canadian. #txg2020 let’s go! 👍

@@nicholasdalton5678 I play a fade with my driver and I love a square face, just like G410 plus has for example. Didn't even demo it because of the look at address..
I know everybody may not agree with this opinion but please keep the open position at address in the Mizuno line. It is so appealing to look at when addressing the ball especially when a lot of clubs tend to favor towards offset.
@@christianvoshall3060 Thanks for the answer Christian, do you plan on doing a square faced version some day? Have gamed a Mizuno driver in the past and would love to in the future. Noticed how Matt was liking how the Sim driver sits nice a square compared to the M5 last year and he drove it straight as an arrow, and the M5 wasn't even as open as ST190 was last year.
I’m torn on this. Mizuno appears to have shed the inscrutable Japanese image and joined the annual product release guys. However it helps keep costs down for us normal golfers , cos like TM you’ll be able to pick up last years model for half price. The only constant is that this remains the most informative and grown up golf channel on the tube.
True gear geeks. A fun film. I still don't get why Mizuno wants to get into drivers when about four companies have that market locked down. Making the best irons in the world isn't enough?
I have tried both the 180 and 190. I could not get a decent ball flight on either. I need 3200rpm and neither of those drivers could give it to me. Spent a lot of money trying. I'll stick with my old one until Mizuno can make a club for me. I've played Mizuno for 30 years so I know all about Mizuno drivers.

Chris makes you think of following mizuno.
Happy with my ST 190 and CLK. Interesting to see how new line compares in testing. Chris is best thing to ever come out of Vanderbilt.🙁
I'm gonna take a close look at a Mizuno Driver. I admire the company's modesty and sneaky good technology.
Interested in trying these.
When can we try them over in the UK?
Is the overall head size of the TS 3 wood the same in cc as the non TS version? Slightly deeper face perhaps as well?
I am looking for a hybrid that stops on the green. I was told the previous hybrid was more low spin? Is this still the case?

Can the st200 weight be changed? it is difficult to change the st190 weight.
Class act again by Chris and Mizuno. Looking forward to trying these new woods.
Not a dig at Mizuno, but for how long has tour edge now used beta titanium face fairway woods? 10+ years?
hey, can anyone tell me if you can bend a hybrid flatter or upright if it does not have an ajustable hosel?

When will these new Mizuno products be available?
Fantastic line up, great info...just missing Matt's feedback.
Coming soon!

I have to ask: all 3 come in left-hand?
I have an st190 tour set at 14. It's eliminated any thought of driver off the deck. It is ridiculously fast.
I don’t know what it is about the term “Japan spec” but it just makes me want to buy one 🤗
Super light weight. Light shafts, ultra light grips. If you're Japanese sized, they're for you.
A great feeling driver too! 🔥
Actual innovation, unlike the Talyormade copy of Cobra's tech from last year.
Would love to test the ST200, hope is doesn't sit horribly open like the ST190 did
