trust me, he is so skilled with his arm locks that the pain is mixed with pleasure when he works with you. His sense and touch are impeccable. I know because I was his student. This man truly is in his own world, I have never seen anyone train as hard as he did, but not driven by rage or with the intention to destroy his opponents but to truly reach perfection. Another good thing is that you flex and train your joints when you put extra pressure on them, they become stronger more resilient and tendons get more flexible, which is also the point in here. And as for the pain these people are enduring, he went through far worse with his master.
He doesn't make Aikido practical and useful... Aikido is practical and useful in of itself. He just is one of many who can show others that it is practical and useful.
@@Devoceantattoo I can agree with that, no doubt. It is really the person not the art that is practical and useful. Any art can work with the right person doing it, I guess that is a better way to say what I was trying to say.
For those of you who say that Aikido doesn't work, please show me a video of you challenging a student because that would be more legit than you actually saying that you've done it before.
This is Aikido how it looked like pre WWII before Uechiba turned it from a "jutsu" to a "do". The classic Daito Ryu Aikijutsu looks almost identical to Realni Aikidoa
now this Interpretation of Aikido should show all of them haters that Aikido if executed with full speed and force does in deed work for self defence. it may not have much left of the philosophy that morihei ueshiba originaly intended but it is up to everybody to try for themselfs which way fits their needs. to me this form of Aikido rather looks like Daito Ryu Aikijutsu or Taijutsu.
Much respect to the aikido, this probably works in street self defense situation or bar fight but against trained karate or Mma fighter not sure, I’m mean no one just hands u they’re arm, unless u sneak up on them, I studied few styles of m,arts & I would never attack this way but I’m sure these guys or good at what they know .
After 20 years of aikido practise i find this way bit odd, im not saying that it would not work but why it has to hurt the other, how long can one study with out damaged arms, i mean to practice even past age of 60 or 70... What is the reason to cause pain?, and why uke did only attack to hand, look where he is looking, down to the hand , not the nage , like no self defence at all , to me that way you dont see around, any reason, uke is not doing any attacking technic... Oh well i just dont get it, Sorry
why is he going around him in circles for in clip 19 that doesn't make sense just go straight into a technique from that punch instead of showing off & now he's dizzy ?
25 seconds in...BULLSHIT. Had to call it. Go against someone that wants to hurt you and it becomes real. These exhibits are just another 'stylized' fight like you see on the big screen..
This is not aïkido... Aïkido means "The union of two energies" ! It doesn't mean only armlocks and speed... When and where does this master (of a sport rather than a martial art) use the energy of the other ? He only uses his strenght ! This is a sport, this is a competition, this is speed before reflexion and sensation, this is not aïkido. Just need to look at Morihei Ueshiba videos, the founder, to understand it...
Ok I understand, at least I want it, but my question now is "if they are different things and since aikido is against violence, and overall aikido is a DO, that mean a way to understand and not to combat, why use Aikido to name a martial art that has nothing with the AIKIDO and in addition isn't a DO?" and excuse me but if you all write "is not traditional Aikido" you mean that is "newest Aikido" and it's no true. Aikido is Aikido, there no place for therm like traditional and modern, O'Sensei created it to work forever, the only things that change are the persons who practice it and obviously it seems like there are many different styles, but once again isn't true: Aikido is one, and it was created to be dressed by all. So I don't understand how to create something far away and give it the same name with the "real" adjective, which obviously misleads anyone; I find it pretentious. One thing is for sure: who knows the martial arts and Aikido, knows very well that it is something completely different and opposite.
Because REAL AIKIDO contains 50% of Traditional Japanese Aikido elements (moves, similar techniques, falls). This is a martial art that anyone can easily use in any combat. FULLSTOP.
It is odd that the video of real aikido, there 's no stupid comments of the net warriors, which can be read under the traditional aikido videos ... like "yes, but in a fight street we do not catch you by the wrist ! "or "yes, but on the street it does not attack you in shomen ..." ahahahahahah replaces the open hand of shomen attack by a guy holding a broken bottle and you will realize that this is exactly the same form of attack ...
+Sab soulier yep sorry here i am. this is bullshit, if all these arm and wrist controls worked you would see them in olympic wreslting, olympic judo and MMA where there is money invested. also whats with all the over acting with the 1000 taps, either tap and stop or dont, this is a bunch of posers
+supernalbjj I dont know about wrestling and MMA but for wristlocks and judo competitions the sole reason you dont see them is because they are banned, which I personally think makes a lot of sense, as you dont want all the people participating to leave with broken wrists.
Albus Dumbledore they are not banned in mma, catch wrestling or bjj. it is just once some one is resisting it is much more difficult to actually do it, plus a little swet also makes it even harder. if you control the persons body, ie top control or guard you have a greater chance but thinking you can just grab some ones wrist and wrist lock them is not a reality. or if it is it is very low percentage on a trained oponent. but even the ways they use it to control in this video are bull shit, all the crap befor the submission, if it was real you would see it in competition
+supernalbjj , Aikido is not close guard fighting like MMA, BJJ or or other competative arts. This is open guard fighting like Kravmaga, Ju-Jitsu or other self defence systems.
this is real good, but why so much pain, is it necessary . I don't think so. plus someone need to translate this clip for the rest of us who don't speak this language.
You start tapping when he reaches the limit. On the street if you keep pressing you are going to break his bone what is your goal to put a ruffian on the ground
When somebody tries to improve on or evolve the aikido in order to make it more efective to the real life, theres no good results, i mean, always these kind of persons had failed, so i think that if youre not very conviced with the aikido is, please train another kind of martial art....
+nokygomy Especially good use of Aikido is very effective ! But hey, it's fashionable to spit on this martial art that refuses to bow to the Western mind from competitions and other good stuff for the ego.
this guy is great. Wouldn't it be great if Aikido actually worked? even if it doesn't this guy has a much better approach than the lovey ass kiss bullshit being taught in most Aikido dojo.
Nobody can prove a martial art in UFC. Doesn't matter if you train aikido, BJJ, boxing, etc. UFC fighters train full time every day, not twice a week. There is also no chance that you meet UFC fighter, who want to rob you on the street.
"Can he prove it in MMA? In UFC for example" the answer is no and there is good reason for it(UFC for example bans most of Aikido and Aikido alike techniques... for example levers on small joints are forbiden in UFC!).
I was just wathcing a video of Bruno Gonzalez. This looks like aikido performed by chimpanzees. Why the hell they call it REAL aikido? If Morihei Ueshiba saw this he would blow his head off with a facepalm...

superb to defend against the dreaded handshake attack. Get in with a Jiu Jitsu blue belt and see what happens.
Lol exactly...or anyone who actually throws a wild real punch.

My Coach when we did Kudo did match against Real Aikido 4th Dan Black belt. Aikido Coach lost, my coach was just Black belt not even Dan 1.
شكرا جزيلا حركات رائعة 😉
Thank you verry much verry good mouvement 😄
Merci beaucoup des mouvements excellent 😊
This seems to be more of aikijujutsu , not aikido. Spirit of aikido is missing.
Πολύ καλό 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great skills, I like it
This guy is a douch ,he is living in his own world.Way to much pain for his training partner.
kadhafi died, so did his bodyguards
Not true pain, or he is inflexible
True pain that you can endure because you become flexible
Super
I think this is great realistic technique..Aikido has become to soft for real world application.
I think your brain is to soft for Aikido, thats you main problem.

Durable pain just to know and feel the limits that you can apply on any attacker on the street.
No cuddling in the street just cannot be gentle because no attacker is gentle.
why is he going around him in circles for in clip 19 that doesn't make sense just go straight into a technique from that punch instead of showing off & now he's dizzy ?
that"s techinque called iremi and tenken = taysabaki iremi inter to you target with avoid him and tenken its about retation like samorai
Super skills is just what the opponent that moves should be set for the ideal position for Aikido, and captures and hands to hands or clothes !?
Sterile exhibitionism.
