I don't understand why this song is not more popular because it is so awesome. Poo Bear was one of the producers of this song and it really shows how beautiful Taka's singing is. It gave me chills too.
This song is so underrated, the whole Eye of the Storm album is!! I truly think that Taka showed some of his most amazing vocal techniques during this tour. It's shivers. and yes, he should be studied, cuz apart from a very early basic vocal training he got during the short Johnny's period, he had no professional vocal trainers. Like, dude just taught himself singing by listening to others sing. Isn't that abosultely NUTS? He would deserve the title of best singer of the 21st century, cuz heck he's a lot better than Beyonce who is everywhere... This guy should be on TV, he should be at the halftime show, he should fckn be flowing even from the tap :)
It helped that both his parents were singers, he probably followed them around. Watching them practice and work. I think he said his mom did covers and musical impressions.
@@udohono his mom did vocal impersonations of other people. For most of his childhood he didn't even know his mom was a singer because she wanted them to have a normal childhood. They did compete with his brothers on who can sing their dad's songs best though (and according to Taka, the second brother is actually the best vocalist among them all, ironically the one who works as a TV director LOL). But his parents didn't teach him how to sing. Not in a formal way like how vocal coaches train their students.
I was actually at this exact concert back in 2020 and Taka's performance was amazing. They cut out some interactions with the fans (for privacy reasons I assume) from the DVD/Blu-Ray release. Taka brought some fans on stage to talk to them and that interaction was very wholesome. You can also tell how much the band cares about their fans and that it's not something they just do for show.

I read an interview where they talked about this performance and how sick Taka was that day. He was so frustrated that he couldn’t sing the high notes he wanted. Makes me wonder what THAT would have been like because this was already insane lol.
Yeah, I remember the translation someone did for it- Taka was apparently super frustrated he couldn't hit the high notes and was kinda struggling. It's absolutely mindblowing because if he never said anything, I doubt anyone would've been able to tell.
