Oh man ... that was creepy AF. Great narration. Your voice is what helps set the mood.
Have a blessed evening.
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the story and narration!
Oh, Don’t mind me…just gonna sneak in this quick lil creepy story before I go & pick up the kids from school! 😈🖤
lol!
Great story. Very well written and narrated.
Glad you enjoyed it
Think I would have powdered it as soon as I got off the phone. I hope this gets included in a sequel or spin-off sort of tale in the future!
Listening to the description of the mirror, I remembered this really creepy mirrored vase my aunt had years ago. I don't know where she got it, but everyone agreed on how strange it was. It was very dark and silvery, reflective like a dark mirror. But reflections seemed to swirl ever so slightly. It was only clear close up, with everything getting distorted more than six inches or so away. Not just because of the curve of the vase, but distorted like the actual structure of the vase kept changing. It was a very generic shape; round, bulbed out at the bottom, then tapering inward slightly, flaring out almost flat at the wide rim.
I don't know exactly what happened, but it got broken while my older cousin and his friends were there, and something like dark mercury came out. I don't know if the vase was hollow, like with two separate pieces filled with the stuff and sealed together at the top or what, but my aunt and uncle had to pay a lot of money to have the carpet, part of the floor, and some other stuff torn out where it had spilled. My cousin and his friends had to take medicine for a while after that. None of them live around here anymore, so I can't ask for any more details, or what it actually was if not mercury, but the idea of that dark shining liquid "escaping" was an absolutely terrifying thought to my elementary-school kid mind at the time.
Yeah, that’s kind of weird. It’s too bad you never found out what that was.
This is exceptional, Brian! Amazing writing AND narration! 🥰🫶🏻💯
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
You can sure bring a story to life. It is just like I’m right there with them😊
Thanks so much! I’m glad you liked it!
THIS!!! AWESOME NARRATION AND STORY!!!
Thank you so much!
The man said destroy the mirror, so why didn’t he immediately DESTROY THE MIRROR?!
It was too late for him and his fiancé. I don’t think he much cared about the possibility of spreading it to someone else at that point.
Ooooooooo you know you make my day every time I get a new story to listen to! 🥰
NGL the description of the mirror sounds right up my alley 😮😅
I hope you enjoy it! It’s a little different than the stuff I usually write.
@@dark_night_tales 😱 that sort of mirror, plus two people getting a lil freaked out about the thing right after handling it..... Then finding out it's not actually a plain mirror...
No joke, I go with my gut, the moment I felt something in that closet I'd be OUT...
And then physical damage, I'm going straight to consecrated ground, no time for first aid, we are GONE
Thank you for a fantastic story and narration, really great story!
@@TimelessEssence13 I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Like I said, it's a little different than the stories I've written in the past, but I really liked it.
@@dark_night_tales I really enjoy the stories like this, especially with that kind of end. I think most people expect an ending with a nice & neat resolution, this feels far more realistic to me 😱🤪😅
I’m at 9:03 and wondering why that old man didn’t tell him more. Black mirrors are used in spells and things like scrying. I remember a horror game had you make and use a scrying mirror to communicate with the ghosts with and I can’t recall which witch on TH-cam talked about black mirrors in more detail. I think it was the Witchofwonderlust?
I’m near the end. You probably shouldn’t just destroy such an item. You likely need to put it in a glass case and surround it and cover it with salt.
I think the old man didn't want anything to do with it and was only telling them enough to try to convince them to destroy it if possible.
Another awesome narration! Thank you, Dark Night! =^^=💜✨️
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great story. Great narration. Thanks, man.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow, just wow. Great story great narration. Thank you!
Thanks my friend!
As always great story and narration.
Thanks!
Just found you from Jordan Grupes channel. 😊 So strange........ I'm always up all night because my youngest is 15 non- speaking autistic and his sleep cycle is backward. Anyway, right at the part where Kate got bitten, I was rubbing my arm and shoulder down with colloidal silver because my son had just bit down on me several times during a violent MMA caliber meltdown. It's so weird. 😮❤
We have some experience with autism, so I know that it can make things extra-special and challenging. I hope you enjoyed the story and hope it helped with a little distraction for a bit.
Damn what a terrible fate…
Yeah. Hope you liked it.
I wonder if this is the same mirror from the other story that's kept in the basement.?
Good memory!! That mirror was a wall mirror, though who knows if they were related at all?
@dark_night_tales I don't know but maybe that's why it is kept covered 🤔
The 9th Gate from the antique store… the minute the old guy gave the mirror away, I was thinking, NOPE - put it back and leave 😮
Edit: This was a great story.
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
Just like I commented on the short for this i love it 💯
Thanks!!
@@dark_night_tales Thank you for writing and narrating your story!!
@@kimberlyshepherd270 I appreciate it, Kim!
@@dark_night_tales No problem 🙂 I appreciate you!
Awesome read

Thanks! Glad you liked it
That was a good one.✝️👍🏻
Thanks!
That was good 👍🪦👍 and the name is what drew me in 👹and the fact that your narrating it as well 👍👍;) maybe one of these days I'll tell you about the two separate times my brothers and i and half the adults of my family saw demonic entities up close these encounters back in the late 70s when i was 6 or 7 years old
I'm glad you liked the story, but jeez - I don't think I can compete with real demonic encounters! 😁
@@dark_night_tales lol if I was a better story teller it would be scary
@@dark_night_tales my mom my aunt and two uncles their wives and remembered including my grandmother who passed away at 102 a few years ago remembered it like it was yesterday I drew a picture of the entity and showed all who was there there drawings to see if we remember the same thing. yes we did MFW × 9k
@@rwarts5150 Okay - that's pretty messed up!
❤😮😮😮❤😊
Hold up.
Firstly, fantastic narration.
Secondly, (spoiler)...
The story was great, but the ending was just dumb...seriously.
"Hey look iv been stabbed... Oh well...guess I'll just lay down and wait to bleed out"
Glad you enjoyed the narration at least.
