Hi Marissa, I really worry when I see you and your family going around without a mask as the workers cut tiles. The amount of dust can very much affect your breathing. I worry about you and Dennis more as you seem to be more sensitive to the environment. It is incredible to watch you and listen to you. I know that Dennis is extremely knowledgeable but I feel that you are an excellent Project Manager. I want you to know that I am English but there is no way that I would know all the terms for construction what the parts of the roof, ceiling, etc. These are terms not commonly used. Please don’t be hard on yourself. Acknowledge and embrace your intelligence, sense of humour, organization and multi tasking skills. Mariben is wonderful too. She is the one keeping everyone going, sustaining all of you with her dedication to preparing meals and working hard in so many ways to help you and Dennis. She has a great sense of humour and when she laughs, I laugh. This is an incredibly large project with so many aspects to consider. I enjoy listening to Dennis and hearing his explanations of how the work is progressing, the materials needed and helping me to visualize what to expect. I know you will all get through it because you’re doing it together as a family. I also hope you all take a mini vacation together, you know, “ get out of Dodge.” I believe you need to get spoiled for a bit if that’s affordable. In the meantime,thank you for helping me. You and Mariben have taught me a lot, about working, tending a garden, surviving on less, not being wasteful.I could go on. You have made a big impact in my life. Renovating a house like you are is stressful because you can’t separate yourself from it. If you were building a new house you could be going home to another house that is quiet and complete and relax Keep your chin up it’s looking great.
