I just got a new base today. I had my egg since 2012 and while moving it on the patio faster than I should have I hit a crack and it tipped over and suffered a fracture on the base. I was certain this wouldn’t be covered, but I honestly filed a report and they actually approved it. Great customer service. When it tipped over I nearly cried. BGE came through big time and technically they didn’t have to because it was my fault.
This is bullcrap. Just paid $80 for a new band. These things rust instantly and are made from garbage steel. Within 2 months of buying mine the seal disintegrated and now all the metal parts on the bottom vent are completely rusted out. I am pretty close to sticking it out on the curb. The metal lasts no time in Florida. The rest is great except the junk seal they ship it with.

That's so awesome...customer service is all but gone...that's why we stepped up and went with the EGG

Bummer... I live in Wisconsin my 2 eggs have been sitting outside for 10 years no Problem. Go to your retailer the shits covered under warranty
