What that means is that the developers will not be deciding things. What players play the most is what will receive updates faster and based on what you play the most you might end up having different advertisements on the shops than players who don't play the same mode as you. I don't think this will affect much else. Cheaters will cheat and they will continue to protect them.

When the 1st cod was ever made, I got my ass kicked on the 1st multiplayer I ever played (I think I played it on the 2nd release). I put the time in (a lot of time)& got gud! Now it's "INSTANT GRATIFICATION" so some kid buy's a bundle. Cod is now a "NO SKILL REQUIRED" P.O.S.!!!
I came over to COD,after playing SOCOM for years. It was a very frustrating transition. It took me years to get good at COD. The moment I started getting good. The cheaters started flooding the games. Cheaters push me out of great games. Cheaters are a major problem to all games. The only feature that matters is Zero cheaters.
In game physics are getting rigged in real time and not for just the first matches. It is every match. Because they purposefully put unskilled players with their paid for skins, in lobbies with us skilled players, rig the gunfights so that way unskilled players can win engagements against actually skilled players, which will directly manipulate the unskilled players self perception of their own skill so they play the game more and buy more skins. All we had to do was figure out the mechanism that actually worked beyond rigging the matchmaking. Something more was needed because rigged matchmaking alone isn't enough. In MW2 2009, load up Free For All, the entire lobby can get dominated by one guy and he can go 30 and 0 if the other players are bad. In MW3 2023 playing everyday you'll have average 1st place players getting 30 and 15, and second and third place players doing 28 and 20. 20 deaths???? The match starts off with smooth quick kills and great hit detection, all the sudden the rest of the players will just start smoking you. All the sudden you shots will miss. If you play hardcore every game like myself then you'll notice the game rigging itself right in front of you with no time to hide it because the extremely low health / ttk. You have to rig gun fights and include a mix of skilled snd unskilled players because if you put scrubs against scrubs and without rigging, it would actually end up with players getting better at the game. Its not like how I started on MW2 2009, playing the story mode first, learning what tools you have , Melee with your knife, switching to your pistol is faster than reloading, grenades roll down hills. You're hurt get to cover. Jumping into online multiplayer for the first time ever, the maps taught you how to play the game, where and when to expect combat, footsteps and all the noises. But that's the problem, in 2020s era CoD, if you learn and get good, you wouldn't buy skins you'd have real confidence instead of artificial confidence created by the game secretly rigging everything in the match. At a Casino, the game doesnt decide how you play your cards, doesn't magically know your skill level, it can't rig the game itself against you specifically, there's just a fixed percent chance you might win. Modern CoD decides for you, what buttons you're pressing, and decides where bullets go and how much damage is done. I can't believe its legal, it really can't be. It reeks of class action lawsuit.

I've been loving COD since 2003, and I started playing 1-person shooter games with DOOM and QUAKE (1998-2003), Nintendo doesn't count). I agree with you, people should learn by themselves and become better players by themselves, and not belittle and take points for the game, because in 10-20 years you have become a very good player, a REAL one, not a virtual one, when the system shoots, hits and awards false points for you!

Games are not games anymore when everything is rigged. I have had massive nerfs since vanguard and riccochet integrated to warzone. Immidiatly my dual sniper setup stopped one tap, smgs would have hit detection issues and even crossbow fury bolt would be a hitmarker machine. Aim assist was constantly turned on/off. I had to quit for 2-3 weeks, and when i tried the game again it was back to normal. But it came back several times. My first reaction was that the guns was nerfed, but they where not. My second reaction was that i was rusty or old, so i trained my aim for hours vs ai bots in priv game, but that just made it worse… Warzone 2 i only had 3 days after buying battle pass or simular with un-nerfed. Loads of new nerfing effects. Even in beta my mk2 rifle stopped one tap headshot in multiplayer, and i found that i actually had better chance of one tapping if i aimed enemy upper feets. Which makes thing super boring. My plan was ofc to aim for nothing but heads to be better ready for warzone. I even tested how microtransactions would alter the gameplay. And it gives you 3 days of normal gameplay, and possible a little easier lobbies. But in a few scenarios the AI will think they have you comitted since u invested and will nerf you straight away. Anyway, entire warzone 2 and warzone 3 i had to play in short periods with longer duration off, else it was unplayable. And training ur aim vs AI bots would results in sick ingame nerfs. The AI think you are an god if u drop nukes vs AI bots with headshot only sniper/crossbow/knives and so… I remember i wanted to start using the crossbow, cause it was going well. And crossbow went very well, i had high kd, but then it just stopped working. So i went into firing range and lined both laser and iron sight up at doll head, 7 of 10 arrows just fly true/curved around enemy head. After i posted that video they changed how crossbow exsplosive arrows work in firing range. Thank god i stopped playing crossbow in time, as I still stand at 8,5kd in ressurgence with crossbow. Bo6 i did not buy, i tested warzone for free, 3 epic days, followed my permanent super nerfed 24/7. The worst part is when they force ur aim off target. A perfect precenter will be way off after ads, you litterally have to wrestle with ur joystick to enter enemy hitbox and it will be riccochet off to the other side as once you land 1 bullet. And that is fuel for anyone anti eomm. Because if you show then a clip or enemies dealing 50+ damage per bullet vs you, they will 100% ignore what enemies damage is and focus on ur aim. I have also been on the other side(buffed side) after boring cammo challenges. Also one time i litterally just gave up. I wanted to level up a seminautomatic shotgun, and i needed 4 x point blank headshot to kill enemies…. So i just gave up and acted like a bot, floating my aim around and shoting the sky. I did so several games. And then i became nearly immortal. I survived croughtwalking true a sae strike landing on top of me, a guy with a gunship shot me for so long that he just gave up and started finding new targets. A GAME WHERE UR RESULTS DEGRADE THE MORE YOU TRAIN IS NOT A GAME, ITS PURE GARBAGE THEN.
Yes, if you reverse boost, drop your weapons, look up or go prone, after awhile the ai will get confused and walk right past you. I’ve literally had whole teams ignore me when I’m standing right out in the open, it’s hilarious how manipulated and easy it is to exploit this ai garbage.

I was telling my friends it was rigged about a month after BO6 dropped... They said I was crazy, they're still dealing with cheaters (ricochet is a joke) , inconsistent ttk with in game real time nerfing, and more and more I'm hearing... How garbage the maps are. I've been happier since quitting all COD! Make these companies, and developers know that games are for gamers, not their pockets

I get that its a business and the point is to make money. But after listening to this, we are not people or players, or even fans to them, we are stats to manipulate in order to make them more money. I think they only referenced people as players a handful of times, and the rest was "the one(s) in a green square, or in a tree that's designed to say this stat didn't win 100 times, we need to help get them a reward so they stay and play more...." It's true. Every now and then I get a pop-up in cod asking how I like the game on a scale from 1-5. I hit 1 every time and the lobbies get stupid easy.

The controlled group only raises due to spikes but fall short of substantial gains. Even with spikes, the player base still falls to pre-AI control levels. Furthermore, the use of "week 8" instead of dates is a deceptive tactic. These weeks can directly coincide with BO6's release date where Week 7 was Release week and week 12 was beginning of December (or holiday madness). These spikes do not show a consistent trend to definitively state their EOMM works. Finally, these DEVS openly admitted to ignoring the players at 46:30. The players are demanding answers, yet they actively ignore addressing concerns. She further admits to catering to certain players 47:45. Essentially admitting to addressing some players and ignoring the rest. The worst part is 11:07, where they show that they want more AI, less humans, and more items for them to sell the players. For the non-believer, you must answer this: If this isn't used for SBMM/SBD etc..., then how is this system being used?

Yesterday, my gun didn't want to shoot even though I was holding button. That lasted good 3 or 4 seconds until I died. On the other side was guy who was spraying and praying and eventually killed me because game decided to not allow me to shoot back.
Had that happen on nuketown.. ironically I was on a massive streak, the enemy player didnt see me first I held my shoot button for a good 3-4 seconds and by that time the other player started shooting, just as I was on minimal hp my gun started to fire and I died. Looked at kill cam an other dude missed half his mag too! I thought I was going crazy like because I could move so it wasn’t input delay
Call of duty is really spending thousands of dollars if not more on software and employees to analyze data when they instead could just listen to their communities and pro players about what the clientele want.
Yeah, I’ve noticed more so recently when I get into gun fights, I’ll shoot somebody who’s aiming a completely different direction. They’ll turn for a split second and kill me in a couple of bullets, but in their kill him, it shows that they were always and already looking at me. I played a match yesterday where I actually watched a person turn 180° to shoot at me, but in their kill cam, they were already staring at me when I came around the corner and shot at them.
This explains a lot! People that don't know how to create a game are in charge of it. They probably don't even like playing the game. They obviously suck at public speaking so let's have them do a presentation forcing everyone to sit and listen to them smack their lips before and after every sentence. COD is a joke for having these goofballs be in charge of the direction of the game.

Last night I was playing BO6 S&D. A teammate of mine and an enemy were within 5 feet of each other. I was about 50 yards away, not close at all. The enemy killed my teammate and somehow killed me like 2 milliseconds later. After he killed us, he said, he didn't even see me. I suspect that Activision also buffs your aim assist during certain situations. I also have had an issue with the game throwing my aim off target, I play with M&K. It started in MW3 2023 and is now in BO6. Also, I noticed a pattern where I can tell the game will put me at a huge disadvantage. When my latency is at 18 and in the 20's, the lag compensation is terrible for me and I experience other shady things as well. When my latency is at 30-65, the game is a bit more playable, but the terrible lag compensation is still there. Activision is a shady company and I hope COD players wake up and realize this franchise is rigged. My Xbox PC game pass ends next month and will never make another purchase again.

This is disgusting. And it explains a lot about my experience when I first started playing the game. I made it exactly 3 matches before I uninstalled. During my first two matches, everything felt normal. During my third match it felt like I had to expend full magazines worth of ammunition just to break armor and another half a mag to get a takedown. I honestly thought I was being cheated. Turns out I was… by activision.
All you need to do, is make a purchase in the store, then for the next day or so, your bullets will magically all land where they're supposed too. I wish I was kidding 💀

The entire Activision TED talk is around customised player messaging to increase engagement and reduce churn. It is proof that they want to keep players playing as long as possible/improve the life cycle of every customer. It is also proof that they measure how engaged each player is. BUT it has absolutely nothing to do with gun fight engagement or anything that the video opens with. Every company in the world wants customers to stay customers for longer, that in itself is not evil. I am not saying they aren't doing what you are accusing them of, they might well be. However, there is zero proof within this video.
You don't set up Liverpool Fc vs Man utd with a start score at 0-3 before the match start so they will have a chance... Same as in the game, we all need to start somewhere, someone is better and someone suck eggs... To be better is better to be humiliated... I understand SBMM, but what I don't find ethical is EOMM, DDA or scripting on video-games. Even these speakers know it is not right, but its their job and they need the money. They like the tech part and developing stuff but they know the implementation doesn't sound right. Hopefully this AI bubble ends soon and companies understand that AI is not what they think, cause what killed BO6 was not the game itself, it was a great game but the AI implementation on all of it. Those that are still playing absolutely have to stop buying bundles and even using the skins and blueprints that aren't in the base game, they are tracking that stuff to actively match you with someone who hasn't got that skin or blueprint, you are paying to sell the product for them and in return they are pairing you with new players, putting you in a lobbies halfway across the continent and nerfing/buffing you in real time.... it's TBMM.
Boosted aim assist really pisses me off as a keyboard and mouse player when even the least skilled players can just ads in and out over and over until it snaps onto me while i actually have to manually track enemies in every engagement with the mouse

If the rules are not the same for every player then it is not a game, but instead a whale revenue generator. You are simply a stepping stone for unskilled players to feel good about themselves and go to the store, or streamers to earn money by you being their canon fodder given the game prevents you from killing them.
Not playing games helped me realize it's not me that suck. I've been flying planes for 40 hours now and the progress of me getting better is just like gaming.

I’ve been getting this glitch where I ADS pull the trigger and nothing comes out my gun. The kill cam will show my character looking in a different direction shooting bullets into the ocean.

The cheaters started flooding the games. Cheaters push me out of great games. Cheaters are a major problem to all games. The only feature that matters is Zero cheaters.

In game physics are getting rigged in real time and not for just the first matches. It is every match. Because they purposefully put unskilled players with their paid for skins, in lobbies with us skilled players, rig the gunfights so that way unskilled players can win engagements against actually skilled players, which will directly manipulate the unskilled players self perception of their own skill so they play the game more and buy more skins. All we had to do was figure out the mechanism that actually worked beyond rigging the matchmaking. Something more was needed because rigged matchmaking alone isn't enough. In MW2 2009, load up Free For All, the entire lobby can get dominated by one guy and he can go 30 and 0 if the other players are bad. In MW3 2023 playing everyday you'll have average 1st place players getting 30 and 15, and second and third place players doing 28 and 20.
20 deaths???? The match starts off with smooth quick kills and great hit detection, all the sudden the rest of the players will just start smoking you. All the sudden you shots will miss. If you play hardcore every game like myself then you'll notice the game rigging itself right in front of you with no time to hide it because the extremely low health / ttk. You have to rig gun fights and include a mix of skilled snd unskilled players because if you put scrubs against scrubs and without rigging, it would actually end up with players getting better at the game. Its not like how I started on MW2 2009, playing the story mode first, learning what tools you have , Melee with your knife, switching to your pistol is faster than reloading, grenades roll down hills. You're hurt get to cover. Jumping into online multiplayer for the first time ever, the maps taught you how to play the game, where and when to expect combat, footsteps and all the noises. But that's the problem, in 2020s era CoD, if you learn and get good, you wouldn't buy skins you'd have real confidence instead of artificial confidence created by the game secretly rigging everything in the match. At a Casino, the game doesnt decide how you play your cards, doesn't magically know your skill level, it can't rig the game itself against you specifically, there's just a fixed percent chance you might win. Modern CoD decides for you, what buttons you're pressing, and decides where bullets go and how much damage is done. I can't believe its legal, it really can't be. It reeks of class action lawsuit.

I have had massive nerfs since vanguard and riccochet integrated to warzone.
Immidiatly my dual sniper setup stopped one tap, smgs would have hit detection issues and even crossbow fury bolt would be a hitmarker machine. Aim assist was constantly turned on/off.
I had to quit for 2-3 weeks, and when i tried the game again it was back to normal. But it came back several times.
My first reaction was that the guns was nerfed, but they where not. My second reaction was that i was rusty or old, so i trained my aim for hours vs ai bots in priv game, but that just made it worse…
Warzone 2 i only had 3 days after buying battle pass or simular with un-nerfed. Loads of new nerfing effects. Even in beta my mk2 rifle stopped one tap headshot in multiplayer, and i found that i actually had better chance of one tapping if i aimed enemy upper feets. Which makes thing super boring. My plan was ofc to aim for nothing but heads to be better ready for warzone.
I even tested how microtransactions would alter the gameplay. And it gives you 3 days of normal gameplay, and possible a little easier lobbies. But in a few scenarios the AI will think they have you comitted since u invested and will nerf you straight away.
Anyway, entire warzone 2 and warzone 3 i had to play in short periods with longer duration off, else it was unplayable. And training ur aim vs AI bots would results in sick ingame nerfs. The AI think you are an god if u drop nukes vs AI bots with headshot only sniper/crossbow/knives and so…
I remember i wanted to start using the crossbow, cause it was going well. And crossbow went very well, i had high kd, but then it just stopped working. So i went into firing range and lined both laser and iron sight up at doll head, 7 of 10 arrows just fly true/curved around enemy head. After i posted that video they changed how crossbow exsplosive arrows work in firing range. Thank god i stopped playing crossbow in time, as I still stand at 8,5kd in ressurgence with crossbow.
Bo6 i did not buy, i tested warzone for free, 3 epic days, followed my permanent super nerfed 24/7.
The worst part is when they force ur aim off target. A perfect precenter will be way off after ads, you litterally have to wrestle with ur joystick to enter enemy hitbox and it will be riccochet off to the other side as once you land 1 bullet.
And that is fuel for anyone anti eomm. Because if you show then a clip or enemies dealing 50+ damage per bullet vs you, they will 100% ignore what enemies damage is and focus on ur aim.
I have also been on the other side(buffed side) after boring cammo challenges. Also one time i litterally just gave up. I wanted to level up a seminautomatic shotgun, and i needed 4 x point blank headshot to kill enemies…. So i just gave up and acted like a bot, floating my aim around and shoting the sky. I did so several games. And then i became nearly immortal. I survived croughtwalking true a sae strike landing on top of me, a guy with a gunship shot me for so long that he just gave up and started finding new targets.
A GAME WHERE UR RESULTS DEGRADE THE MORE YOU TRAIN IS NOT A GAME, ITS PURE GARBAGE THEN.
Yes, if you reverse boost, drop your weapons, look up or go prone, after awhile the ai will get confused and walk right past you. I’ve literally had whole teams ignore me when I’m standing right out in the open, it’s hilarious how manipulated and easy it is to exploit this ai garbage.

Even with spikes, the player base still falls to pre-AI control levels. Furthermore, the use of "week 8" instead of dates is a deceptive tactic. These weeks can directly coincide with BO6's release date where Week 7 was Release week and week 12 was beginning of December (or holiday madness). These spikes do not show a consistent trend to definitively state their EOMM works.
Finally, these DEVS openly admitted to ignoring the players at 46:30. The players are demanding answers, yet they actively ignore addressing concerns. She further admits to catering to certain players 47:45. Essentially admitting to addressing some players and ignoring the rest. The worst part is 11:07, where they show that they want more AI, less humans, and more items for them to sell the players.
For the non-believer, you must answer this: If this isn't used for SBMM/SBD etc..., then how is this system being used?

Yesterday, my gun didn't want to shoot even though I was holding button. That lasted good 3 or 4 seconds until I died. On the other side was guy who was spraying and praying and eventually killed me because game decided to not allow me to shoot back.
Had that happen on nuketown.. ironically I was on a massive streak, the enemy player didnt see me first I held my shoot button for a good 3-4 seconds and by that time the other player started shooting, just as I was on minimal hp my gun started to fire and I died.

Yeah, I’ve noticed more so recently when I get into gun fights, I’ll shoot somebody who’s aiming a completely different direction. They’ll turn for a split second and kill me in a couple of bullets, but in their kill him, it shows that they were always and already looking at me. I played a match yesterday where I actually watched a person turn 180° to shoot at me, but in their kill cam, they were already staring at me when I came around the corner and shot at them.

Last night I was playing BO6 S&D. A teammate of mine and an enemy were within 5 feet of each other. I was about 50 yards away, not close at all. The enemy killed my teammate and somehow killed me like 2 milliseconds later. After he killed us, he said, he didn't even see me. I suspect that Activision also buffs your aim assist during certain situations. I also have had an issue with the game throwing my aim off target, I play with M&K. It started in MW3 2023 and is now in BO6. Also, I noticed a pattern where I can tell the game will put me at a huge disadvantage. When my latency is at 18 and in the 20's, the lag compensation is terrible for me and I experience other shady things as well. When my latency is at 30-65, the game is a bit more playable, but the terrible lag compensation is still there. Activision is a shady company and I hope COD players wake up and realize this franchise is rigged. My Xbox PC game pass ends next month and will never make another purchase again.

During my first two matches, everything felt normal. During my third match it felt like I had to expend full magazines worth of ammunition just to break armor and another half a mag to get a takedown. I honestly thought I was being cheated. Turns out I was… by activision.
This sbmm is rubbish! I play ranked play and many times the bullets that I fire don’t register at all! Call of duty is not fun anymore!

All you need to do, is make a purchase in the store, then for the next day or so, your bullets will magically all land where they're supposed too.

The entire Activision TED talk is around customised player messaging to increase engagement and reduce churn. It is proof that they want to keep players playing as long as possible/improve the life cycle of every customer. It is also proof that they measure how engaged each player is. BUT it has absolutely nothing to do with gun fight engagement or anything that the video opens with.
Every company in the world wants customers to stay customers for longer, that in itself is not evil.
I am not saying they aren't doing what you are accusing them of, they might well be. However, there is zero proof within this video.

I understand SBMM, but what I don't find ethical is EOMM, DDA or scripting on video-games. Even these speakers know it is not right, but its their job and they need the money. They like the tech part and developing stuff but they know the implementation doesn't sound right. Hopefully this AI bubble ends soon and companies understand that AI is not what they think, cause what killed BO6 was not the game itself, it was a great game but the AI implementation on all of it. Ricochet, EOMM and the greediness of Activision. I'm done with Call of Duty.
And look at what all this led to, a steaming pile of faeces in the uninstall history of nearly half its player base within 2 months.

I also think we need to start calling it what it is, It is not SBMM or EOMM the real blanket term should be TBMM, Transaction Based Matchmaking is what it is, driving people toward transactions is the primary reason the system works the way it works so lets call it that.
Those that are still playing absolutely have to stop buying bundles and even using the skins and blueprints that aren't in the base game, they are tracking that stuff to actively match you with someone who hasn't got that skin or blueprint, you are paying to sell the product for them and in return they are pairing you with new players, putting you in a lobbies halfway across the continent and nerfing/buffing you in real time.... it's TBMM.

Boosted aim assist really pisses me off as a keyboard and mouse player when even the least skilled players can just ads in and out over and over until it snaps onto me while i actually have to manually track enemies in every engagement with the mouse
im on mnk one time i get headshots after headshots not eavne trying to aim and never used sniper rifle before almos tlike somehitn g toock controll of my mouse pointer
@frallorfrallor3410 I played controller back from like mw2 til black ops 2 came back during new mw2 and started on mouse and keyboard but ran a snd on controller after years off it and immediately went 13-2 aim assist is insanely overpowered

If the rules are not the same for every player then it is not a game, but instead a whale revenue generator. You are simply a stepping stone for unskilled players to feel good about themselves and go to the store, or streamers to earn money by you being their canon fodder given the game prevents you from killing them.

I remember being a new player to First Person Shooters joining online lobbies and going 1 Kill 30 Deaths. And from struggling I have been able to learn a hell of a lot more than just shoot the pro player and they can’t hit you for being new. P.S. Been playing since BO2 came out

I’ve been getting this glitch where I ADS pull the trigger and nothing comes out my gun. The kill cam will show my character looking in a different direction shooting bullets into the ocean.
