In preparation for them reuniting (hopefully this Sunday) I remade an old video of mine. I love this song & think it really sums up the mindsets of both Sansa & Arya.

I think for me the reason their reunion is going to be so emotional (for me) is that they've been apart for so long, and they were so different the last time they saw each other, but they UNDERSTAND each other now. Even if they don't know it yet.
Those are my feelings exactly! Even back then they were more alike than they knew, Ned saw it and they will too now.

I saw it too and I thought it was perfect. No spoilers but I'll just say....it does make sense and it explains why. Basically, without giving anything away, after what each of them have had to endure, survive and live through, they both just have this immediate complete and total understanding of each other. They both KNOW that the other had to somehow survive what would have killed and destroy anyone else. They instantly understand that about each other so it creates that massive amount of mutual respect that they have for each other. There's an AMAZING scene with Arya and....someone....Arya easily demonstrates that she is not one to be fucked with. She's on a whole new level now. What's cool is, she knows it. We'll learn something huge about Bran in this episide too.
I agree Kevin Birmingham! I thought it was a very real reunion, showing their trauma work with their relationship. It was exactly how these two characters would act around each other.
The first words they say to each each other....(extreeeeemly calm, and in private)
Arya: "Do you I call you "Lady Stark" now?" (Who was "Lady Stark" before Sansa?)

Sansa.:"....yes".
followed again by silence but it's the way they stand apart, looking at each other...and they both know...about the other....it just happens...
I'm betting they reunite and kill LF, while Sansa tells him, in that deadened tone from the season trailer: "When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives."

This was GREAT! People keep fabricating competition between Sansa & Arya because that's what a patriarchal society does - pit women against each other so they don't support each other. Both of these characters have survived so much tragedy & they emerged stronger. Arya had to shut down her feelings to survive - esp in House of B&W training. When she saw Sansa she was not being "cold" - she is still very young, she was guarded & she & her sis were very different & not close as kids. Once they bonded over their father, their mutual suffering, and will to not just survive but thrive, Arya let her guard down & gave Sansa a big hug. I think & hope the show takes their arc to one of being closer & having each other's back, instead of pandering to misogynist stereotypes of women. Jon had continually disregarded Sansa's knowledge & advice to almost his / her & the North's peril. Finally she is getting the respect she deserves. Sansa is freaking out a bit to discover her little sister is a lethal assassin - who wouldn't! But she's not angry or threatened by it - she's too smart for that. She will see Arya as her only true protector. She's just processing this revelation about her teenage sister. Rock on Stark sisters!!! 💕
Thank you so much! & I couldn't agree more with everything you said! Like Sansa says, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives. She knows that winter is the time to come together, not fall apart. The wolf pack was lost & broken for too long but now they have found each other again and they aren't going to let petty squabbling mess that up!

When last Jon was with Arya, before he left for Castle Black, she showed genuine affection for him...One of the few people she actually did.
In the books, Jon and Arya were very close. Arya was his favorite little sister, because, like him, she never felt like she fit in; no good at embroidery and other female nonsense, always running off to do boy things. Jon too felt like the odd one, because of his status as a bastard, so he and Arya developed a close bond.

Season 7, episode 4 apparently has yet another epic battle scene that I think is supposed to come out of nowhere. I've seen some of the scenes and it's absolutely intense. Think "Blackwater", or when the Wildings attacked the Wall. Hardhome, Battle of the Bastards and now this...

No spoilers please! & yh, it wasn't as good as it could have been but I enjoyed it.
minho0610 I thought the reunion was very real. Remember that they were very young when separated and not very close as kids. Arya at this point is what, 15 y/o? Both went through so much trauma - Arya completely shut down her emotions to become a lethal assassin. For her to suddenly be all emotional at the site of Sansa would not be logical or believable. She's trained to assess her situation / people first. After talking about their father, mutual tragedies & will to thrive, Arya let her guard down & gave Sansa a huge & sincere hug. That was not easy for her. The sisters will be a formidable force - especially with Brienne on their team.

No she didn't. Cersei had the butcher's boy killed and The Hound did it. Sansa had no idea that lying to protect Joffrey (the son of the King, her future husband) would result in an innocent boy being murdered. She was a little kid and didn't want to upset either side (Her future family and her blood family) so she simply said she couldn't remember. The Hound was out looking for the butcher's boy before Arya was found and Sansa was asked for her side of the story. He was going to die no matter what Sansa said. It was not her fault.
not a fan of sansa. i blame her for about everything that has happened to the starks so far and still to come. she is the ultimate bad decision maker.

No. Ned left Winterfell to be the Hand of the King, Sansa marrying Joffrey was just an add on. Even if there was going to be no marriage, Ned would have gone to King's Landing anyway.
I will be really glad to see arya get hers, the evil shit. I hope it's painful and lasts two episodes.
