Couldn't agree with you more, Carreg is such a special castle, so cool. Loved your drone shots, your narration and your filming and information! Fantastic!!
Wow! That is a HUGE castle!!! They do a great job taking care of it too, aside from a few pebbles in the path to the cave haha. The Lord's chamber was haunting!! Thanks for taking such great camera angles instead of forgetting us and just carrying the camera!! Really enjoyed this!
Thanks for watching, it really is a massive castle. I do love the atmosphere the chamber gives even in the condition it is. I’m glad you enjoyed it, and again thanks for watching.
Excellent castle ! I would be knackered just in light clothing climbing up there ; imagine carrying armour and weapons , maybe at night in the rain ! Imagine getting stone up there to build the thing ! Subbed mate , good work .
They could see enemies coming miles away. I would've liked to seen some more of the views out into the countryside. Just a magnificent spot for defending. I would guess attacks were made at night.
i came to the conclusion, a long time ago, that the welsh, were a lot shorter than us, and some of those arrow slits ? they would have to lie, on their backs, to fire ah arrow from them ? but, if they used both hands, to pull the bowstring, and held the bow with their feet, the longbow for example, it would make perfect sense
===================== Why on Earth would a kiln ===================== be stuck up on top of a hill? The answer is that the walls are made of limestone, and by burning limestone you create lime fertiliser. Due to the dismantling of the walls, there was a lot of limestone available. /
A part of Wales l don’t know so grateful for this. You state at the beginning it was the castle of one Edward 1 commanders but it’s clearly not an Edwardian castle and is an older structure, partially remodeled. Edwardian castles have round towers and a central keep overlooking the curtain wall- except Flint which is weird and Caernafon which is different for political reasons and is the greatest medieval castle in the world- in my opinion, argue with me!

Great walk through. Brought back memories of our honey moon stay in Wales and visit to the castle in 1975.
@ 3:40 there is a little boy's face sticking out from behind that rock. It moves ever so briefly.
Brilliant

Subbed mate , good work .
True, the conditions they would have to live, work and fight in would be brutal. I appreciate your support.
Really cool! Love seeing archer and musket positions and how they sometimes differ. Great upload have a good weekend
Thanks for watching, its great to see how the castle changed over the years for different reasons.
I agreed the music is in appropriate see any ghosts
good job very interesting keep it up
Thank you very much, and thanks for watching.
07:07: We saw two added to the arrow slit at 05:54.

Grateful for your derring-do.
Thanks for watching.
volume to quiet
Thanks for watching.
The video was good , but the sound or more like the lack of it was a huge let down
I'll take that on board.

Thanks for watching, i did want to get more shots of the country side and surrounding area but the wind was so strong that day.
Excellent video, another castle to add to my list. One comment though, fast panning made me feel dizzy.
Thanks for watching, I see thanks for letting me know I will try to keep on top of it. I appreciate the feed back.

Yes!
Thanks for watching, i never thought of it in that sense, i imagined they may have fired from being low on one knee.
Most people were short due to poor nutrition in those days !

_Oliver Cromwell_ is rapidly moving up the list of people I would like to remove from history if I ever get a time machine.
Same

Appreciate your opinion.
cant hear sorry
Sorry to hear that.
Couldn't hear anything :(
That’s a shame
That cave looks like a watercourse, the way the sides are worn smooth. I wonder if it once provided the water for the castle.
That's not a bad idea, actually. It would make sense.

Enjoyed the video, but was there really any need to keep swearing?
Thanks for watching, its just my personality, very expressive.

enjoyed the video, just a shame about the "language"!
Expressive English.
Why the hillbilly music? Totally inappropriate for a Welsh castle. The video gave me a headache. Had to stop watching.😮💨
Thank you for your support on watching the video as far as you did. Hope the headache gets better soon. Kind regards lucid
