Only the youngest generation think Nigeria is most popular country in Africa. Egypt is the most popular country in Africa if you really go deep in history. Nigeria has the highest population in Africa, that why people really think Nigeria is the most popular country in Africa
Nigerian Afrobeats and nollywood has taken Nigeria's name to all corners of the whole world like no other African country. There are also millions of Nigerians in every corner of the world while a survey shows Nigerians to be the most educated immigrants in the US. Many people outside Africa even thinks Egypt is in the middle East. There's really no controversy there that Nigeria is the most popular country in Africa.
