There was no set admission charge for Elvis's 1973 Hawaiin Satellite Concert. The audience gave donations they could afford worth $75,000! Elvis was a twin & came after his brother who was born dead. They were dirt poor so Gladys couldn't afford to give birth in a hospital. Elvis often thought Jesse Garon, his twin, would have lived if they'd been born in the hospital. Elvis was raised in the church & Gospel Music was always his first love until the day he died. He failed 'music' in school...I'd hate to be that teacher! He gave away money, cars, houses, jewelry, paid hospital bills...on & on. He was almost broke when he died because he had given his wealth away. Elvis always loved the Lord & knew his talent came from Him! When Elvis gave us, his fans, all he had God called him to his eternal home in Heaven & his Beloved Mama was there with open arms to welcome him home forever! 🙏💕🙏
What is interesting with the Hungarian relief during the Cold War, one of his fan club presidents married a Hungarian refugee. All he knew he was given a packet of toothpaste, soap, and some rations courtesy of EP. He had no idea who or what EP was. He was later able to thank him in person years later due to this connection with his wife and tell Elvis personally how he helped refugees like himself. Another unbelievable small story, a woman who used to show up at the gates of his CA home with her husband stopped showing up one day. Elvis noticed.. He had his men track her down. Elvis showed up at her trailer (front door)! She was in desperate need and in despair since her husband died. He made sure she got what she needed and got her transportation to see his performances again. This story was told to his other gate fans who at first didn't believe her. It was only when she showed them a picture with Elvis in her trailer that they knew it was true.
Col. Parker would insist Elvis get publicity for his charities. So Elvis started doing it without Parker knowing. A lady once told a story about waiting for Elvis after his concert. She had her twin baby girls with her. She told him how the father left them with no money. Elvis took a ring off, told her where to take it in the morning to sell it. I never forgot that story
Elvis would say NEVER JUDGE A MAN OR WOMAN YOU HAVE NOT WALKED A MILE IN THEIR SHOES NOR DO YOU KNOW THEIR PAIN OR THEIR CHALLENGES FOR THE MAN WHO MADE THEM MADE YOU TOO
I read he paid Jackie Wilson’s medical and nursing home bills for years and sent flowers every week even after Elvis passed away. This documentary is just a small portion of his good works. Most was in secret and as he walked through daily life.
An employee of Elvis Presley once said: "Elvis really loved people and he wanted to make everyone happy"! Elvis Presley regularly donated to 50 charities. And when he was out and about, he always gave gifts to people. He gave away money, houses, cars, jewelry and paid for several expensive operations for people who were seriously ill. When he heard that a black woman could no longer leave her house because she didn't have a wheelchair, he immediately bought the best and most expensive wheelchair. When a well-known black artist became ill (but was poor), Elvis paid for a nursing home over a long period of time and later paid for the funeral. Until the end, Elvis had a long correspondence with a little girl who was seriously ill.
I saw a interview where his gf linda Thompson said she heard on the news thar a lady abd her kids house burnt down they lost everything well she mentioned it to elvis and right away elvis saud find out who's in charge of donating so they did elvis found the lady an apt furnished her entire apt and paid her rent for the next 6 months and he didn't even know her.. also elvis cousin Billy Smith told a story on their channel elvis fans matter he said one day elivis me and his limo driver were driving down the street and elvis happened to see a older black couple they looked like they were pulled over on the side if the road having truck issues so elvis had his limo driver stop the limo elvis got out asked the couple what the problem was they saud their will start and it keeps dying on them and they having problems with it starting up. So elvis asked the couple to please come with Me he had his limo drive to the next car dealership lot and told his driver to please pull in here, he got out asked the couple what their favorite color was they told him and he went inside the dealership, came put with keys in his hand and said you see that truck right there its yours the couple didn't know what to say they didn't want to expect it at first and elvis told please except this gift from me tonight when I lay down to go to sleep ill know you two will be driving in a safe reliable vehicle they of course thanked him and he said my pleasure. He didn't know these people at all . He loved helping people especially people he didn't even know... he had a very generous heart and cared about people and helping others he never forgot where he came from
This one barely touches on it. Try 200 Cadillacs. Elvis did far more for individuals he encountered. Homes, cars, money, medical bills paid, medical equipment, jewelry, vacations his generosity had no limits. His parents taught him well. He was no better than anyone else and it could all be gone in a moment. He carried that humble upbringing and memory of longing with him throughout his life. Some of the most beautiful things he did for people were done in private. He sought no accolades and we learned of much of it after his passing. Vicki
When my wife and I were on vacation in Budapest our tour guide pointed out a street sign...Elvis Presley Blvd. we all were a bit shocked but the tour guide said Elvis is huge in Budapest because in the very early 1960’s he made a open speech supporting the citizens and slamming the brutal rule of the USSR which was in power in Budapest. She also said that the sign is stolen every year😄😄
Elvis was just a great man ....He helped everyone... If he knew about it he took care of it immediately....He was so amazing...All his giving probably started when he was just a Little kid...His father bought Elvis a bike when he was about 6..When Elvis came in his father asked him " where's your bike". Elvis said " oh some kid didn't have one so I gave it to him".Mean while it took his parents months to save up for it...They were so poor....
When he gave money to charities he never took the deduction on his taxes. He didn't do it to gain anything by it, he simply did it because it was the right thing to do.
I believe Elvis practiced what the Bible teaches when donating you don’t let the right hand know what the left hand is doing for your Heavenly Father knows what is done in secret and your reward is in heaven
Most of his generosity was done anonymously. He once gave a disabled woman an electric wheelchair because she was using a scooter around her house and pushed with her hands. He read it in the paper, took Priscilla and a friend with him and they delivered it to her door and taught her how to use it. Upon leaving, his friend said” I don’t think she even knew who have it to her”. Elvis said let’s just leave it at that. His stories of generosity are many. ( The ones we know of) Even during his concerts, if he’d see a child in a wheelchair, he’d take off his rings or necklace and give it to them and they were worth thousands of dollars. Every man has his faults but that’s being a true Christian. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. God bless. ❤
I love this… he lived his life to full capacity! How he treated people, working hard, generosity, his humour…. He changed music and left a legacy which will last forever… all while being humble and sweet ❤
Gotta remember 1000 in thr 50s 60s and seventies was a lot of money. In 1970 you could buy a decent home in a nice neighborhood I've heard other people react to this and say .... 1000 Ain't nothing . Failing to realize how much it actually was back then. No amount should be poo pooed. 5 bucks to a homeless person is a godsend. It's about your heart and clearly he had a generous one full of love
Jerry Schilling still lives in the same house that Elvis bought him. In the 2022 Elvis movie Luke Bracey, 33, plays Elvis Presley's lifelong friend JerrySchilling
This touched on his generosity and it's good to remember that 1,000$ in the 50's is approximately 12,000 today. Now you should watch 200 Cadillacs..it's mind blowing! Thanks for this one ✌️
If anyone gets a chance to watch a movie called "Touched By Love" please do. It's the true story of a disabled girl named Karen who was living in a care center. She adored Elvis and wrote to him one day. He wrote to her back and they became pen pals. He would send her gifts and brought such extreme happiness to her till the day she died. A truly kind and caring man.
Great story: Once, when a limo picked Elvis up from the airport and drove him back after a concert, he asked the driver if he owned the limo or worked for a company. When the driver said he worked for a company, Elvis said "you own it now". Yes, he bought the limo for the driver. There are countless stories like this out there and who knows how many that no one has heard to this day.
8:05 That's interesting Elvis helped raise money for victims of a tornado because when he was a little boy in Tupelo a tornado went through their town. It destroyed so many houses. Elvis and his family hid out at the church and luckily when they went back home their house was not destroyed.
An often overlooked act of kindness was he would set aside time every Christmas season to visit inmates at the Memphis jail. He would spend a few minutes talking to every inmate to see what they or their familes needed.
Elvis probably understood that a lot of people don't commit crimes just cause they're bad, but they do it out of necessity. Just like how his father changed a check when he was little so he could feed Elvis and his mother. He knew his dad was not a bad person.
They didn't focus on his love of gospel, his generosity or his amazing sense of humor in the movie. Elvis wasnt recognized for his Generous Heart. Hasn't stopped either. His ex wife and daughter run Presley Place. Beautiful townhomes for homeless to live rent free for a year with help in child care, nutrition, financial, etc to gain their independence back. He gave away $750,000 worth of jewelry and cars to complete strangers. Didnt matter what color, religion u were. Elvis..A Generous Heart the short version and when he met Nixon is hilarious. Thank u for reacting to this-
Elvis was definitely rich and had all he would ever want or need - but he never forgot where he came from or what it was like when he was there in the poor section of tupelo mississippi, he appreciated his fans and the success they gave him and he was indeed one of if not the most selfless celebrity to ever grace the stage. Elvis gave away over 200 Cadillacs in is lifetime, endless varieties of charity support and he even bought people homes at times including his cook who he felt had to drive too far to come work for him at this home in graceland.
It was his cook Nancy Rook (a nice black lady) who he bought her a house from. She lived there until her death. Elvis gave away several houses to his employees. or he gave them money for a down payment.
He went to Korea and put his career on hold. And then stood up for his friend, then named Cassius Clay who refused to go to Vietnam. They were friends until death
The movie also didn't show his love of gospel. There is a great documentary consisting of 2 DVDs about the influence of gospel on Elvis. You will enjoy that and learn more. It is called Elvis He touched me.
They left a lot of his donations out too. There was so much more. Most we'll never hear about. These were the ones that got leaked out by someone. BB King used to talk about the work Elvis did for the black community in Memphis. In June 1956, Presley ignored Memphis's segregation ordinances by attending 'Colored Night' at the local fairgrounds amusement park. The following December, BB King was there as Presley opened up almost unbreakable racial barriers by attending and supporting the segregated WDIA black radio station's annual fund-raising event for "needy black children" at Memphis' Ellis Auditorium. King wrote in his autobiography that he "liked Elvis. I saw him as a fellow Mississippian. I was impressed by his sincerity." Then there were his sizeable donations in the 1960s to the NAACP and other civil rights organizations including Dr Martin Luther King. Elvis and MLK would speak on the phone. One call was leaked but they were top secret for security reasons. Nothing was ever recorded for the same reasons - it was a dangerous time, a decade of assassinations (Black civil rights activists Medgar Evers and Malcolm X and MLK and President John F Kennedy and US District Attorney Robert Kennedy all assassinated). Elvis also knew civil rights icon Medgar Ever well and supported him. You could have a whole movie based solely on Elvis charity work, donations and social issues / civil rights work. I learned a lot about all this myself when I took a trip to Graceland. There are even checks on display that Elvis wrote to many of these organizations and people to verify these accounts. YALL GOT TO GO to Graceland and be sure to check out Elvis' CAR COLLECTION and 2 planes!
This was great. I always knew Elvis was generous but not to this extent. I guess they respected his requests to keep it on the down low. Huge respect to the King who changed the world in so many ways that were never reported. When you come from nothing you know what its like to struggle and he wanted to make as many lives better as he could. Whether through his music or generosity. He changed not only the music world but the lives of so many struggling without credit and he kept doing it anyway. Huge respect to the King.. Great reactions by the way.
Most of us that watched the movie left thinking, “it’s not enough”. He was so much more. So much bigger in so many ways. But it would have to be a series to get to all of it. History. I’m so glad Vernon and Priscilla hoarded everything.
Thank you for this reaction. Elvis was never disliked by anyone except some white people and the Establishment, they wanted him gone. When he died he was almost broke because if people needed it he gave it to them. Priscilla opened up Graceland’s and rebuilt his fortune for their daughter and she kept supporting his charities. She kept his memory alive and I don’t know anyone else back then who deserved to be remembered more or now. I listen to his more than 200 Gospel songs he recorded mostly in private when I am working. His heart, his love of God and music and his love for his Mother were formed when he was a little boy. He never forgot that his father was always away finding work but he never knew he lived in a shack. His Mama told him how lucky they were. He didn’t understand why he had to go to a different school to his best friends but they would run to meet after school in their tree house which wasn’t really a tree house. No one could stop him from going to the Baptist Church with his friends. Even after he moved to Memphis. It felt like he was on lone from Jesus.
Long time Elvis fan here. I was disappointed that they did NOT touch on this in the movie. I do believe that a big part of his fans appeal to this great man was his kindness and generosity.
The only shows Elvis performed outside of the USA was the 3 concerts he did in Canada. He was in the army from 1958-1960. In the 60’s he did films, no concerts until the 1968 comeback special, after that he performed in Vegas for years.
Thankyou so much ❤️Love your reactions. I am from Sweden, and Elvis befriended a little orphan girl here ,Karen ,who suffered from a physical handicap. Karens caretaker Lena Canada ,wrote Elvis secretary a letter , after she found out about Karens big secret ,that she loved Elvis. And when Elvis found out about it ,he wrote her letters and sent her records. ❤️He made her life very happy . Karen’s painful body, really relaxed when she listened to Elvis . There is a book written about it ,and Lena Canada is the author. It’s called ” To Elvis with love”. There is also a film made of the book ,here on youtube. It is a Beautiful story . And to think ,that this man was able to touch so many souls all over the world with his music ,in a time Where there were no music videos and he never did any concerts outside the U.S That’s GREATNESS right there .❤️❤️❤️
Just a glimpse of his heart and soul ... the real measure of this humble man who still lives in the hearts of his fans ! TCB Elvis ! Thank you , gentlemen , for learning about his generosity ... spread the word !
The Elvis movie did not mention his gifting at all...also not his wonderful playfulness & sense of humor.....however the movie was was still great and Austin should win Academy Award.....I saw him in concert 3 times in the 1970s, one of which was in Vegas....He was electric...will never be another equal to him....Thank you Lord for giving us the gift of Elvis.....
I was in Hawaii when he died. I was 13. He wasn't that big of a deal to me. It was Huge in Hawaii when he died. I started to then appreciate him. ❤️✌️ Btw, i love his sentiment, it's simple. It is so basic and simple to just be kind with an open heart and mostly an open mind.
Elvis gave a concert and donated as well to the huge memorial for the pearl harbor memorial for those who died on our naval ships per the attack and mass deaths of our US naval personnel.
I love you ALL honestly, and God this man can sing like no one before or after, while God bless you and I wish you all the luck in the world! Sincerely ~ Christopher Tyler LOVE IS ALL THAT MATTERS!!! P.S. I'm a republican just to let people know that the divisions falsely created by the media must stop and we must love everyone!
When he heard about a black woman who lived in Memphis without legs, she had used a board to try to get around. When he read the story, immediately he went and bought the best electric chair and went to her house with two of his guys. He knocked on the door and her husband opened it and his wife was setting in the floor. He went over and picked the elderly lady up and put her in her wheelchair. He showed her how it operated, and stayed with her for quite awhile. When he was leaving, he handed her husband for $10,000 to help them out.
Fantastic reaction I'm glad you are enjoying your elvis journey you will never regret it, i promise..I'm 63 and been a fan since I was 10 yrs old ..still listening and enjoy all of his music..check out his version of bridge over troubled water 1970 live
Even as a new young guy ...barely 21...an starting out (when publicity would be on MANY new up & coming peoples minds...to help their image)...He didnt brag...speaks volumes 🙏❣ a true human we should all aspire to RIP Elvis...u gave ut ALL - LITERALLY 🥰😔
Thank you so much for keeping the memory of Elvis alive. He was a very kind and compassionate person who truly cared about people. He also gave jewelry away during concerts. He would hand out diamond rings, watches, bracelets etc during and after concerts. ❤️
I remember in an interview I saw somwhere on TH-cam. It might have been the come back tour interview. One of the reporters tried to catch him to say something Controversial. I don't remember the exact wording but the reporter asked Elvis About The new generation of music and the competition he may have. And he said "he wasn't worried about that he feels there's enough for everyone". What a humble man Elvis was, Elvis was as close to a representation of an angel on Earth. He had a wonderful soul
sounds sort of like that came from his press conference for Madison Square Garden in 1972; he was very adept at avoiding politically charged questions also; he was very polite & soft in his responses, not like some of the shouting loud mouths we hear today
It's so wonderful to see you getting to know the man behind the music. The only time Elvis wanted publicity for his charitable deeds was when he thought it would bring in more donations to the cause. I have a couple requests. These are entertaining and also show how generous he was to people on a personal level. (1) Bruno Kirby Story: 'The Magic of Elvis Presley' (4:32) (2) Elvis Presley's Nurse Tish Henley Kirk Interview! (6:07)
Love your reactions, you said none of this was in the Elvis movie, I know, I missed that and his love of God and gospel music, which he sang after every show to wind down. Some really good docs are, "Elvis: A Generous Heart". And of course his love of football "The NFL and Elvis Presley". There is an honorary Heisman trophy given to him at Graceland. "A Boy From Tupelo", "Elvis talks to the Sweet Inspirations/Words". "Elvis post Army interview 1960" . Thanks for your kindness to us old Elvis fans, I saw him in concert twice in Virgina, and he was magic. I'm almost 80 and loved him since the 50's, not many performers leave an impact like that. Be Blessed
They didn't mention his charitable donations in the movie but they focused a lot on him paying for houses, cars, etc. for his immediate family, his cousins, and his secure detail friends. Because the movie was saying his money was going out to people he cared about and he was robbed of half his fortune by people handling his career, so he couldn't afford to not work all the time and had to deal with his toxic bosses.
Also Elvis and the black community part 1 which is a fantastic documentary on his early beginning. And then there was a television series 1990 the rockabilly years before he made it big
Great reaction. There is another video called Elvis A Generous Heart it's just over an hour long so maybe you can do it in 2 or 3 parts hopefully you will do it
I love that you guys are doing the documentaries! It helps build context to a lot of the different aspects of him & parts of his life that are important to know! And because understanding who he was only makes you reapect and love him more! Now i just can't wait for you guys to start reacting more to music & all of his many AMAZING PERFORMANCES!!❤❤!
There was a "principle" established by Colonel Parker and Elvis about benefit shows: there were no free tickets. Everyone had to pay their ticket, including Elvis, so that ALL the all the money raised would go to the benefited institution. In addition, Elvis paid for his own transfer and that of his team. Greetings from Chile!
@@AirplayBeats also can you do a reaction to elvis. The gospel side Thanks I really enjoy your channel and want to tell you thank you for taking time out of your day to bring us these reactions..I really enjoy them. Have a great weekend
THANK YOU for this video, and also your reactions. I just want to shine a little light on another superstar, Shaquille O'Neal. I'm so impressed by some of his videos he allows to be filmed, but there's many many untold acts of kindness that goes unmentioned. Shaq will go shopping in a store, and perhaps pay for all the customers there. And the monetary help to local families and kids in need. Shaq is quoted as saying, "I was raised the same as some of the people I help. I was raised without a dad, and we were homeless for a time, living out of a car..." So now he says I've got all this money, and I've gotta help others. That makes Shaq the greatest athlete of all, in my book! THANK YOU! 🤗
Loving your Elvis journey guys! I HIGHLY suggest you check out "200 Cadillacs". Elvis bought cars for many people, including strangers. It's a great doc to watch.👍Btw, I enjoyed the Sam Bell reactions. RIP Sam Bell.
This one is a little different but a really cool video that I know you’ll enjoy. I see from the pictures behind you that you like sports so Please check out (NFL FILMS PRESENTS ELVIS PRESLEY) you’ll see how much Elvis loved football and the NFL coaches/fans loved him. In fact you’ll get to see Elvis playing some football. His favorite team was the Cleveland Brown’s his favorite player was Jim Brown and they became great friends. Elvis would call the Browns office each week to ask them to send him the playbook for that next week game, Only Elvis Can Do That. When you hear what the NFL coaches talk about him is fantastic well the whole video is fantastic!!! 🔥🏈🏈🏈🏈🔥
Wow.. I've never seen this.. I'm actually blown away.. but I do know that in 1956 Elvis hadn't even enter the military. It makes sense that Elvis was this way because he grew up so dirt poor and when his Daddy went to jail when he was like 2... his mother had to rely on the church to even have food on the table. he gave back.
Great dialog. We are all accustomed, of always seeing the bad, the meaning, and the Ugly. But this Video shows what matters the most, to make the World into a better place, then when you leave it. But to make the World into a better Place, we all must become better Persons. The best People are the One's who care about Everyone. Enough Said!!!
I dont know what this would be classified as but there was one black artist that Elvis felt was not being appreciated. His shows were not full. So when Elvis heard about it he called a few friends and went. He knew where he went the crowd would follow and this guy was good. Before the show was over Elvis would sneak out so the artist was focus. Also, I don't know if it's the same guy, but he was in the hospital and his label had done him wrong. Elvis paid his hospital bills and the estate continued to pay them until the man's death.
Yeah he would buy houses and cars for total strangers. Give checks out to all who would queue outside his home every year. I could spend an hour just mentioning what he gave away.
He did hundreds of concerts for charity.

Tha k u so much h for this video, he also gave hundreds of Cadillac s houses ,money even to strangers. El is the generous heart.
As much as we hear about his giving there is probably a thousand more things we will never hear about.

Elvis didn't live long but, man, he put every waking hour of life to use.
I love this… he lived his life to full capacity! How he treated people, working hard, generosity, his humour…. He changed music and left a legacy which will last forever… all while being humble and sweet ❤
$1,000 in 1960 was about 10K btw.

I agree. Him giving any amount of money is generous. Whether it be $1 or $1000 in any decade. Thanks for watching!!
Money really was not easy to come by back then. Even a penny was respected back then. Now a days we don't even print pennies anymore.
Jerry Schilling still lives in the same house that Elvis bought him. In the 2022 Elvis movie Luke Bracey, 33, plays Elvis Presley's lifelong friend JerrySchilling
That house is more valuable than any dollar sign that could be put on it.
I love Elvis
8:05 That's interesting Elvis helped raise money for victims of a tornado because when he was a little boy in Tupelo a tornado went through their town. It destroyed so many houses. Elvis and his family hid out at the church and luckily when they went back home their house was not destroyed.
If I remember correctly, Elvis donated $150,000. That was a lot of money back then.
Thank u for reacting to this-
He was stationed in Germany in the Army but he was calling for donations for people in Hungary, which he had never been to.
You guys are really good people ,now you need to see the video Elvis a generous heart ,you will love this one too
He went to Korea and put his career on hold. And then stood up for his friend, then named Cassius Clay who refused to go to Vietnam. They were friends until death
My man Elvis beautiful inside and out and such a generous soul
He gave away all his toys when a child. He gave Dr. Martin Luther King 25 fat cheques to finance the Civil Rights Movement ... Etc
The movie also didn't show his love of gospel.
There is a great documentary consisting of 2 DVDs about the influence of gospel on Elvis.
You will enjoy that and learn more.
It is called Elvis He touched me.
You are absolutely right
They left a lot of his donations out too.
Thank you. I thought I knew a lot about Elvis. You taught me some I didn’t know.
Wow! I never knew Elvis did so much! He was a once in a life time phenomenon, with extraordinary looks!
This is the short version the whole one is like 90 minutes. But thanks so much for checking this out. Again thanks for keeping Elvis alive in 2022
Thank you for this reaction. It felt like he was on lone from Jesus.
yes on loan from God
He only performed in Canada in 1957 . It was the soviet invasion of Hungry
Thank you so much for bringing awareness to the charitable acts that Elvis performed!! WOW Always loved him but now so much more to love!!
And to think ,that this man was able to touch so many souls all over the world with his music ,in a time Where there were no music videos and he never did any concerts outside the U.S
That’s GREATNESS right there .❤️❤️❤️
Just a glimpse of his heart and soul ... the real measure of this humble man who still lives in the hearts of his fans ! TCB Elvis ! Thank you , gentlemen , for learning about his generosity ... spread the word !
The movie didn’t do enough to show who Elvis was!
Btw, i love his sentiment, it's simple. It is so basic and simple to just be kind with an open heart and mostly an open mind.
A perfect example of using our power for good. ❤️❤️✌️
Sincerely ~ Christopher Tyler
LOVE IS ALL THAT MATTERS!!! P.S. I'm a republican just to let people know that the divisions falsely created by the media must stop and we must love everyone!
Thank you so much!!
Great reaction! Check out Elvis ( A generous heart ) and Elvis ( Gave away 200 Cadillacs ) I think you’ll enjoy these too.
THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THIS TO LIGHT, BUT THERE IS ALOT LEFT OUT. JUST A SHINNING STAR.💥
It's so wonderful to see you getting to know the man behind the music. The only time Elvis wanted publicity for his charitable deeds was when he thought it would bring in more donations to the cause. I have a couple requests. These are entertaining and also show how generous he was to people on a personal level.
(1) Bruno Kirby Story: 'The Magic of Elvis Presley' (4:32)
(2) Elvis Presley's Nurse Tish Henley Kirk Interview! (6:07)
Kathie thanks for sharing
It seems like Elvis really got the least of his money out of everyone, but GIVING was what fulfilled him the most.
True but Elvis loved his fans performing on stage he was happy and loved all of us
Also Elvis and the black community part 1 which is a fantastic documentary on his early beginning. And then there was a television series 1990 the rockabilly years before he made it big
Thanks for watching. We reacted to that documentary. Check out our other Elvis videos: th-cam.com/play/PLKKgkaX8PjFbzfgCtJjx_uKsj7n3--x4k.html
Elvis also gave many of his rings away to people in need.
He performed in Canada twice and went to Germany in the service from 1958-60.
Great reaction. There is another video called Elvis A Generous Heart it's just over an hour long so maybe you can do it in 2 or 3 parts hopefully you will do it
Why didn't they show any of that in the movie? Him is a god's gift.
This is new to people even in my age group. And I'm over 60. Thanks for your reactions and Bless you.
God bless you both for doing such amazing and in depth research of Elvis! 👌👌🤜🤛 He really was an amazing person! You guys ROCK!! 🙏🫂
Can you do a reaction to elvis why me lord live concert version. And walk a mile in my shoes.. thanks
Hi guys,
What a great kind loving person, who never wanted any publicity.
Great video guys.
Thank you xxx 💝
Elvis performed in Canada 🇨🇦
Elvis was a dreamer and he wanted to share his wealth. Elvis concerts - his Manager and Elvis bought the first tickets.
Great 💕👍jealous rumors try to ruin good people,,,Obvious re Elvis,,and today still😔
Can you do a reaction to the documentary elvis a generous heart
That one is definitely on our ‘to do’ list.
@@AirplayBeats also can you do a reaction to elvis. The gospel side
Thanks I really enjoy your channel and want to tell you thank you for taking time out of your day to bring us these reactions..I really enjoy them. Have a great weekend
We will look into that one too. Thank you so much. You have a great weekend as well.
I never knew that but I’m not surprised ❤
Some business minded people say Elvis was a terrible businessman, because he didn’t amass billions of dollars. But he was a great human being!
THANK YOU! 🤗
Thanks for watching!!
9:52 OMG! Tomorrow is Elvis Presley day?
He gave away over 200 Cadillacs in his time.
Loving your Elvis journey guys! I HIGHLY suggest you check out "200 Cadillacs". Elvis bought cars for many people, including strangers. It's a great doc to watch.👍Btw, I enjoyed the Sam Bell reactions. RIP Sam Bell.
I can just imagine Sam Bell meeting Elvis at the pearly gates goin "Hey fool" haha RIP Sam
@@cryforthemoon 😂
@@cryforthemoon * 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Forbes magazine has said Elvis charity concerts were the only celebrity concerts that 100% of the money went to that charity.
I'm an Elvis fan & I've never heard about this! Thank You.
i am a Queen fan and I am impressed by The King
Another great reaction....thank you. ❤️
Wow.. I've never seen this.. I'm actually blown away.. but I do know that in 1956 Elvis hadn't even enter the military. It makes sense that Elvis was this way because he grew up so dirt poor and when his Daddy went to jail when he was like 2... his mother had to rely on the church to even have food on the table. he gave back.
i read elvis coming out of a recording and saw a black couple admire his cadilac, he gave them the keys!!
This was before service. In the concerts he did for charity. Elvis an Colonel were required to buy their own concerts.
Elvis did perform in Canada in 1957
this was before the army when russia invaded hungry in 1956, elvis was in the army from 1958 to 1960 this
I dont know what this would be classified as but there was one black artist that Elvis felt was not being appreciated.
Great video and reaction guys.
Please show more Elvis videos.
Yeah he would buy houses and cars for total strangers. Give checks out to all who would queue outside his home every year.
I could spend an hour just mentioning what he gave away.
Yes he did he played Toronto Canada in 1957
