Good on you Hannah for keeping your cool. 😘 I love how hubby measures with a pencil ( I know what you should buy him for Christmas- a tape measure!!!) ❤️❤️

If he does well, he may study law as well. We are trying to encourage him to become fire- proof to lay offs in the future! Haha! Thank you, Bryanna...we were just having this conversation! We are trying to teach her to embrace the ASD, but come up with ways to overcome the rigid routine and try to find ways to adapt. It's all about working with what ya got. Coffee solves so many of life's problems, though....😉😄☕❤
I was just wondering whether having a 'snow day' or some other kind of day backup plan is helpful? Is it worth me trying for myself, or does it not really help?
I find myself a lot like Hannah when her schedule gets thrown off. A changed schedule or even something I know is supposed to work one way and ends up not working at all just makes me so mad. I don't know why. I'm just glad I'm not the only one who is like this! I love watching your videos!

Hi! Another fun video - I LOVED Miss Abi and her “fake sneeze” - her “LOUD fake sneeze” - she knew she was sending Hannah over the dramatic edge (😎) laughing!! 👍🏻💖🤣😂. I also enjoyed David’s casual phone call with his Mom...he is so awesome!! Happy Winter - if you get some snow, I’d love to see if Arnie gets extra playful around snow!!! Take care all!! 😊💖
Hannah makes my day,my face is sore from laughing,Abby is a doll,i just wanna bring her home with me,they all r beautiful children and u guys r the best parents ever...Them kids r so happystay safe love u guys🧡💜💖💛❤💚💙
That was a monster of a sneeze! Hannah's reaction and laughter had me in stitches. Down here, in N.C., we don't usually get snow until January. Then, people rush to the stores and buy bread and milk in bulk. (They're making milk sandwiches, I say)
These girls are like a comedy routine sometimes, I think. They are VERY easily entertained..😁😂😉 I am SURE it is worse in NC when it comes to weather! Milk sandwiches...!😂🤣😂🤣😉💕
Oh, I know! I grew up in Elmira/ Horseheads and I remember drifts as high as the houses all winter long. If you were walking and fell through that crunchy top layer, you wouldn't be found until June! Those plows were way too efficient, too! 😂🤣😁😉❤
I'm from upstate NY too. I hate the winters that bring so much snow. There was only one year where school was cancelled a couple days in a row. Another year we were let out early and the bus got stuck on someone's property. The bus got stuck one street over from mine so I walked home. Didn't realize the snow was up to my knees, so we had just over a foot of snow that day
That sounds good. 👍 I live in Finland which is at north Europe at Scandinavia and it's always funny for me that many American school cancel the school day because of snow. 😂❄️ Not in here north.
I’m so jealous I love 💗 snow ❄️!!! Hannah Montana I have trouble when my schedule is off too!!! I’m working on this with you 📀📀📀🎢🎢🎢🎠🎠🎠⛱⛱⛱⚓️⚓️⚓️sing to help anchor yourself!!!
I don’t want to sound rude but I noticed this for a while now and was curious to why Bethany squints her eyes then closes them tightly every so often? Does her eyes bother her? I didn’t explain that very well but hopefully you know what I mean 😅
Tori, you are never rude! Her eyes do not bother her. Ever since she was little (even vids and pics before we knew her), She has always done that when she laughs or talks. She simultaneously clenches her teeth and squishes her face and eyes even when she talks. She does not do that when she is just sitting unengaged. I guess it is just a Bethany manerism/ facial expression. She is very cute when she does it and the more excited she is, the more pronounced it gets. She is getting her braces soon, so it will be interesting to see how they might affect her...we love you. Don't ever be afraid to ask questions! 😉😊❤
What a wonderful life :) reminds me of a title of quote from a classic. movie but I forgot which one? But dad infinitely a wonderful life you all have.
Hannah, don’t worry. You’re not alone! I myself believe that I have a schedule for a reason and when things get changed it really messes with me mentally because I feel like it screws with the flow of the day and it even changes my attitude about introducing new things to my day. So even though I need to learn to not be like that you’re not alone because I hate it too!
Wow what a beautiful home you all have. I grew up in Virginia having usually at least one snow during the winter. Now in Texas I don't see it, however we did get snow last November! Very rare. I miss it but not driving in it.
Thank you...we will never need more space, that's for sure and I have a lifetime of projects to keep me busy!! 😉😂🤣😁 When you think about it, most of our kids will never leave the nest. We need enough space for all these adults to live together harmoniously. It's a lot of work in itself, but we are thankful. I'm with you- I don't like driving in it, either. I am quick to keep them home in this weather, because Obed and Jesse, especially need help walking and we are always afraid they (or we) will fall. We try to minimize risk when it comes to the health and safety of our family. 😉😄😊❤
I just realized watching all ur videos... I don't know if being blind is the main reason however, ur children do NOT seem to have jealousy issues as in body issues etc!!!! Ahhhmazing!!
Oh my.... I forgot it's 1.30am and my husband sleeping and then me here watching SixBlindKids and just cracked up laughing as my dearest Hannah's laugh is so contagious. Not a happy husband 😁😱
We don’t get snow very often here but when we do it often shuts down everything as the roads become extremely slippery. So glad that everyone was able to adjust to the change in routine, with the snow day, change can be very difficult for some.
The snow falling is soooooo beautiful! Yes, like I have an issue with the sound of chip bags! I don’t know what or why but I just can’t stand it! I have to leave the room or get away. And it came while still in the hospital after having my first son. Before, I never noticed the issue until there. It’s so crazy. I looked it up one day and it said something about triggering something in the brain. The same trigger that is associated with fear. I’m not sure. I just find it interesting.
MCPS decided to close right when I pulled into the parking lot. It was the right decision to close but I wish they had done it earlier. Many teachers braved the horrible roads, my car slid on the roads. And some students were already on buses. I'm glad FCPS made their decision earlier for you.
Oh, I HATE that!! I am so glad you are safe! This one packed a punch that few saw coming, I think. I have no trouble at all making management decisions myself on days like that, but harder for you teachers, I know...it's the ice! We had fun...😉😄😊💕💕
Karen I give you so much credit on painting your entire house!! That’s unbelievable! My house isn’t anywhere near the size of yours and we need to paint almost every room and I’m so overwhelmed! (The last home owner just loved the color blue! Lol. And they were so lazy when they painted..didn’t even bother taking the light switch covers off the wall and just painted over them!! 😣) Anyways...you did a GREAT job!! xoxo
Thanks, Shonda! 13 years later, I'm still working on it! LOL! I keep trying to get Joe to clean his office out, so I can get in there, because...it's time to start over in some rooms!! Yikes! You can do this! Just go room at a time and do it right. Is it navy blue like our bedroom? If it is, just use a gray primer first. 😉😄❤ The whole house will feel fresh and clean!
SixBlindKids no it’s more like a medium blue I’d say. The living room and 2 bedrooms are all slightly different shades of it. It’s gonna feel like a brand new home when I’m finished! (And hopefully the guys in the paint department at Lowe’s or Home Depot will give me some pointers and tell me all the supplies I’ll need! 🤞🏼) I like how you painted the ceiling as well. I think I might try that in our bedroom!
Thank you for taking the time to reply Karen! So sweet! I’m so grateful that you guys don’t have your comments disabled like a lot of my other favorite channels! 🥰
I agree. I was raised in Florida and coats were foreign to us. Bathing suits and water and beach and boating and water skiing and even driving and parking on the beaches. Those were the days friebds😃
Lol awesome video! I'm from the north so I love going into inch snow with a hoodie on xD you southerners are funny. Also that intro woke me up from my quite night xD God bless you in your snowy travels!
I live in western Canada and I have never once had a snow day in my entire life! Last night, we had a snowfall warning and got a foot of snow over night, and school wasn't cancelled haha.
Isn't that funny! I grew up in upstate NY and it had to be REALLY bad blizzard conditions to get off...here just the threat of a storm and everything shuts down and the shelves are emptied! 🤣😂😉❤ I remember one time everything closed and it never dropped a single flake! THAT was hilarious!!!
@@SixBlindKids That's hilarious! It's really interesting to see how prepared different places in the world will be when it snows. By the way, I just discovered your channel yesterday and I absolutely love it! I just became a substitute teacher back in September and seeing the different self-regulation methods and techniques you use for interacting with and caring for your children is really educational for me, and I hope to be able to incorporate some of them into the classes that I teach. You both seem like such amazing parents and your kids are absolutely wonderful :)
wonder if Hannah's schedule being messed up kinda messes with her time frame in her mind. you know how some people have the "non 24" issue. maybe being on a rigid schedule kind of helps her keep her on track with the time of day. even though, of course, she KNOWS the time, it's different with no light to help feel or see evening, night and morning. just a thought
The inability to break from routine has more to do with her being on the spectrum (Aspbergers) than it does with being blind. Good question/ thought, though. Thank you! 😊💕
yes I love those wall anchors!! I use the plastic ones like those. And they're reusable. Before we bought our house. We rented for over 25 years. So I would take them out and spackle and prime ( I am allowed to paint) it's a lot harder the to do that with traditional plastic anchors and as far as I know impossible to do with mollys.
Wow, Rona! 25 years??? Same house? That was one lucky landlord if so! I would have let you paint, too! LOL! Congratulations and welcome to homeownership!! I am very happy for you! My biggest fear about renting always was not being able to decorate. I feel for people who can't- our living spaces are just so personal...😉❤❤❤ I never would have thought you could reuse the anchors, but why not? You are right about mollys..definitely a no.
We did have snow the last few days too here in Austria!😍 Wow, your home looks soooo beautiful!! And I loved the conversation you had with David 😄😄😄 so cute!! Love you guys!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Thank you, Nadine! 😊❤ Don't you ALWAYS have snow in Austria?! As someone who has never traveled much, I am pretty ignorant about geography and climate. I tend to think of things very stereotypically. Hmmmmm.....That's the thing. I need to learn from you guys! 😉😊❤ We love you, too!! 💕💕💕
SixBlindKids hahahaha!! No, actually where I live, there are 4 seasons! And in summer its sooooo hot! We don‘t have snow that often, so it’s very special to me!😍
I just got snow on thursday (i think). I live in PA. We were supposed to get 1 inch, but it ended up like 4 inches. We got out early of school because of the snow (some buses didnt come until 5-6 p.m. It was crazy). Then, the next day we had a 2 hour delay! Oh, did you see the SBSK million subscribers celebration!? It's crazy how like yesterday they had 100,000 subs and now 1,000,000! Your subs are growing so much too! Your doing awesome! And the video was funny and awesome! Have a nice Thanksgiving, and rest of your evening. Bless your family!
Ibthink it was the same storm! It packed a bigger punch than any of us expected! 😉 Old man winter keeping us on our toes! 😄 We ARE all celebrating Chris' million sub milestone this week! We are all extremely thankful for him because he has given us all our voice. We would not have a YT channel or the least bit of confidence to ever consider it if it weren't fo Chris and SBSK. He is like the sky diving instructor that is pushing us out of the plane!! He teaches us how to respond to people. Our family has stayed isolated all these years. Typical people do not always know what to do when we show up to a party, so we stay home. No more, though. We will just have a party of our own and they are all invited. Chris encouraged Joe to start the channel and we are having a blast! We love you guys! We had no idea this kind of love and acceptance existed!! Thank you for your encouragement and unwavering support. 😊💕💕💕
I live in Southern Maryland, so we only got a light dusting last Thursday. My school did let out an hour early due to flooding/ice concers, though! I absolutely love snow, and, since I am graduating from 8th grade in May (as opposed to the rest of my pre-K-8 school), the ammount of snow days won't affect when I get out of school!
@@SixBlindKids Actually, I live in the D.C. metro area (Southern Maryland usually describes Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary's Counties while Eastern Maryland is sometimes used to describe the Delmarva Peninsula). My school usually lets out around June 10, but 8th graders get out on a set date in May. Also, I misspelled "concerns," so I'm sorry for any confusion!
@@SixBlindKids Haha, it's actually really cool to be living so close to you guys! It would be awesome if I saw you in public at a grocery store or something!
Haha! Pretty sure you got that right!! Especially David! You will see that he is our cold weather weenie! I (mom) grew up in upstate NY, and honestly, I don't think I could handle that again either!! Stay warm up there! 😉😄💕💕💕
Maybe Hannah could try making herself a back up plan for days like snow days that way even if her first plan doesnt go through then she will have another routine on the back burner that she will know about in advanced and can be prepaired for. I worked with an 18 year old guy who is also autistic....a bit more than miss hannah but i found out that after we wrote his routine out ona. Dry erase board the night before that we would also make one more in case his school day was canceled or what have you so that way, even though the first routine fell through, he had another one that he decided on and prepared for and that way he wouldnt be setting there not knowing what to do with himself and avoid the anxiety of not knowing!
SUCH a great idea!! We were just talking about creating a new routine in her head as soon as the first one falls apart. I think she actually understood that! Now let's see if she can put it into practice! Sometimes it is just finding that explanation that clicks! 👍😉😊❤
Hannah was laughing so hard
That's Hannah for you...she is a piece of work, that one! 😉😄💕

I also enjoyed David’s casual phone call with his Mom...he is so awesome!! Happy Winter - if you get some snow, I’d love to see if Arnie gets extra playful around snow!!! Take care all!! 😊💖
Abigale is my favorite but I love these blind kids no offense. This is so cool.
Most jobs are easy if you have the right tools! It's wonderful that you both are so handy!!
Hannah makes my day,my face is sore from laughing,Abby is a doll,i just wanna bring her home with me,they all r beautiful children and u guys r the best parents ever...Them kids r so happystay safe love u guys🧡💜💖💛❤💚💙
Hannah you've got the best laugh I've ever heard xx
Omg I love abi so much 😂😂💗
The end of that call to David was what we call a North Dakotah goodbye! 😜
It's so different here in Upstate NY. We can have a wicked snow storm, more then three feet of snow and still have school lol.
Oh, I know! I grew up in Elmira/ Horseheads and I remember drifts as high as the houses all winter long. If you were walking and fell through that crunchy top layer, you wouldn't be found until June! Those plows were way too efficient, too! 😂🤣😁😉❤
Whoo! Fellow upstater!
@@SixBlindKids I kind of wondered if you were from some part of NY by your accent :) I guess I was right lol
Like mother like doughter, I love mama sixfabkids’s lough👍😘😍
Your house is just as gorgeous on the outside as it is on the inside!
I love your home, it's so beautiful!
Thank you Mandy! It's a lot of work (as we knock off some current projects...🤪), but we are VERY thankful for it! 😊❤❤❤
I feel like Hannah. Crazy sneezes always crack me up!
I'm from upstate NY too (small town called glens falls) bless you, Abi 😝 keep warm and safe!!!! 💜💜💜
Live in the south now, Atlanta area...
Cool! Atlanta is nice, too! Less snow- smart move!!😉❤ With a sneeze that big, I'm sure you mean BLESS YOU ABI!!😂🤣😁💣💥
I’m so jealous I love 💗 snow ❄️!!! Hannah Montana I have trouble when my schedule is off too!!! I’m working on this with you 📀📀📀🎢🎢🎢🎠🎠🎠⛱⛱⛱⚓️⚓️⚓️sing to help anchor yourself!!!
That phone call was so sweet
@@SixBlindKids With Rop I notice I do the same as Bethany I am bothered by dry eyes wondering if your ROP girls have the same problem.
@@SixBlindKids will they be my friend?
I really love. Your wall lamp
Thank you..😊❤
What a wonderful life :) reminds me of a title of quote from a classic. movie but I forgot which one? But dad infinitely a wonderful life you all have.
Hannah, don’t worry. You’re not alone! I myself believe that I have a schedule for a reason and when things get changed it really messes with me mentally because I feel like it screws with the flow of the day and it even changes my attitude about introducing new things to my day. So even though I need to learn to not be like that you’re not alone because I hate it too!
Bless you Abi🙏
My favorite videos are your just your fun times at home
sisters always take after each other
They do indeed! It just means they look up to each other! 😊💕💕💕💕
I love this show so much!!! You guys are amazing! I wish I could meet you guys!
Abi has jokes! Who knew!
Oh....she has jokes! 😉🤣😂😁❤
I just realized watching all ur videos... I don't know if being blind is the main reason however, ur children do NOT seem to have jealousy issues as in body issues etc!!!! Ahhhmazing!!
The queen of calk. Lol
“I can see” HAHAHA I love that Hannah laughs about it and doesn’t see blindness as a sad thing
Cant*
I love Davids independence.
Oh my.... I forgot it's 1.30am and my husband sleeping and then me here watching SixBlindKids and just cracked up laughing as my dearest Hannah's laugh is so contagious. Not a happy husband 😁😱
Ok...now that is funny, Jaki! 😂🤣😄😁❤
I'm from northern Pennsylvania. It was interesting for me to see what another state does when it snows. Sometimes we still have that much snow in May.
@@shondaclark2010 Woohoo!! I love the painted ceilings! The kids bedrooms have like a sky blue which is nice. It feels soooooo cozy! Have fun!! ❤
Thank you for taking the time to reply Karen! So sweet! I’m so grateful that you guys don’t have your comments disabled like a lot of my other favorite channels! 🥰
I'm very similar to Hannah! I have a schedule that I follow and if it changes then I'll freak! I always like knowing whats happening next!
I agree. I was raised in Florida and coats were foreign to us. Bathing suits and water and beach and boating and water skiing and even driving and parking on the beaches. Those were the days friebds😃
Im born and raised in Florida coats are familiar cause once that strange 60 degrees hits us its like winter is already here
When it snows where I live in NC, it is treated as a snow day. The stores are stripped of bread and milk. It is so funny. Most people call off work.
I love you guys!!! You guys always make me smile. 😃 happy Thanksgiving to you all
Awww...we love you, too, zoe!! ❤ Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. 😊
Lol awesome video! I'm from the north so I love going into inch snow with a hoodie on xD you southerners are funny. Also that intro woke me up from my quite night xD God bless you in your snowy travels!
Thank you!! I know..we are so wimpy, right..😉😂🤣😁 Abi's sneeze was like..💣💥💨 !!! 😂🤣😅😄
Hope one day I will see you all since I live in Maryland, who know where but that’s my wish just to give you a big hug for mom and dad of fab6kids,🙏
That is good to know! Keep your notifications on all so you will know if we do meetups! 😉😄👍❤
SixBlindKids will do gladly, thank you so much for letting me know!!🤗
Abi knows she's funny, lol so cute ❤
She was laughing hard.
I love them so much😭😭
Actually 7 different places in 25 years. But always left our places ready for them to regent with very little work on their part.
You sound like the perfect tenant! I am so glad you have your own place now! You deserve it! So happy for you, Rona! 😊❤❤❤👍
Happy early Thanksgiving to you all! With love 💜😘😍
Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!! 😊❤🦃
The snow looks pretty 🔹you guys are so amazing💜
Awww....thank you for your kind words. ❤ It was soooooo pretty...😉😊💕
@@SixBlindKids your welcome we have not had snow yet can't wait😁
@@raejaamari5974 It's coming! 😉
Trust me I live in Florida and I still do the heavy cold. 50° is too much for me much less.
wonder if Hannah's schedule being messed up kinda messes with her time frame in her mind. you know how some people have the "non 24" issue. maybe being on a rigid schedule kind of helps her keep her on track with the time of day. even though, of course, she KNOWS the time, it's different with no light to help feel or see evening, night and morning. just a thought
The inability to break from routine has more to do with her being on the spectrum (Aspbergers) than it does with being blind. Good question/ thought, though. Thank you! 😊💕
I love everything about this channel🙏
yes I love those wall anchors!!
Hannah was laughing so hard.
We did have snow the last few days too here in Austria!😍 Wow, your home looks soooo beautiful!! And I loved the conversation you had with David 😄😄😄 so cute!! Love you guys!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Sounded like my mom and I'm adult with kids. 💗😄 Moms are always so concerned about their children. 😘
We don‘t have snow that often, so it’s very special to me!😍
@@nadinemeznik4183 I didn't know eather. 😲 But maybe there are snow at the mountain?
Supa 141 yes, in the alps! But only on the top! But definitely not in whole Austria!😘💗😚
@@SixBlindKids Your welcome! Your kids are so amazing and talented! Have a good Thanksgiving tomorrow!
Why are you graduating early? Southern Maryland gets some bad weather when we don't. That Delmarva area can be tricky!! 😉😄❤
@@zap.zapzap Thank you for that clarification! You would think I should know the difference living so close! LOL! 😉😄😂😊❤
@@SixBlindKids Haha, it's actually really cool to be living so close to you guys! It would be awesome if I saw you in public at a grocery store or something!
@@zap.zapzap Well...you just never know! 😉😊❤
Dont think you could handle Canadas winter. Haha
Haha! Pretty sure you got that right!! Especially David! You will see that he is our cold weather weenie! I (mom) grew up in upstate NY, and honestly, I don't think I could handle that again either!! Stay warm up there! 😉😄💕💕💕
Hey Mama... would you allow them to play in the snow if they wanted to?!
Of course! The "if they wanted to" part is a big factor! LOL! 😉😄❤
Maybe you could sit down with Hannah and make a "plan B"routine for days when her regular routine gets interrupted ?
Wow!!!! Awesome!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Wow what color are your walls against that white trim its awesome
We live right in the snow belt of Northeast Ohio you should try it sometime🤦♀️
Yeah...no thanks! 😉😂 I grew up in NY!! LOL! 😁❤
@@SixBlindKids so you definitely know how it is 🤗
Maybe Hannah could try making herself a back up plan for days like snow days that way even if her first plan doesnt go through then she will have another routine on the back burner that she will know about in advanced and can be prepaired for.
Yes ma'am. Hope all works out for her and hope everyone is well today 😁 you guys have a blessed day! 💚💜💙💛
