- Hmm, we take the kids, all blind since birth, for a visit to an amazing scenic overlook over the Shenandoah River and the Shenandoah Valley. And of course, there are ample opportunities for family fun and lots of blind jokes. Laughter does good like a medicine, so I hope everyone can laugh and marvel at our family adventure.

I love Davids typical teenager resistance. When near the water he did not want to sit but when asked politely he said something under his breath. I was laughing because a teen is a teen no matter what they have to overcome in life. These kids experience nature in a way I wish I could. What they describe is utter beauty. Safe travels and STAY WARM. Lol

Thank you for that vote of confidence! For some reason, Hannah is content with the occassional performance. Of course, we would love to see her do more, but I think she does not like a lot of pressure. We would like to get her back into voice lessons soon. That should help..😉💕

Haha! I hope you got the idea from our description! I will let you in on a secret. The aroma was so much better that the actual food. There was no bbq perse, only sandwiches. I think it was frying grease that we were smelling after all..the apple butter donuts were delish, though! 😉

Hannah! she said "maybe I'm just a weenie" 😂 the tennis shoes they make now are so thin bc they use mesh type material. Abi made me smile so big with her hopping and smiling ear to ear! Jessie's serenade was so cute, 1st time I've heard her sing! and did she get a haircut? seems shorter. Obed is growing so much! love how David is so much the typical "teenage" boy. I see so much of the same in my son! The Lord definitely blessed u all with patience! a wonderful virtue to have!

They all beautiful hannah funny i love there laughter, dispite being blind they speak beautifully and i admire mum and dad raising these beautiful children Jessie lovely they all are, i have 3 girls, single mum two with disabilities my midfle daugbter did not speak until she was 7 years old but speaks really well now she was birn with no cleft palate and had 3 manjor opperations , they give so much ❤️and so rewarding ❤️❤️❤️plenty of hugs and care

I have a friend who is an International Flight Attendant. I won't go into detail of all the gifts that she has brought us from all corners of the world; although, I would like to share two that especially delighted me. She was in Paris, France one early morning & purchased a loaf of freshly baked bread & that evening, at five on the clock New England time, my sweet family & I were enjoying some of that yummy crusty on the outside & so soft on the inside bread w/our evening meal. Another time from London, she brought us a typically shaped English teapot, w/sugar bowl & creamer to match, along w/a pound of most delicious English Breakfast tea. That gift pleased me, because sipping the fresh brewed tea brought back many happy memories of my childhood years spent living in England.
Her signing brings joyful tears to my eyes. Such a wonderful voice. 💗🎼oh my storms bbq. Lol. I want that as my ringtone. There is nothing like fresh air.

Love your family wish I was rich wealthy had a great job because my heart would be definitely into doing this for I am a widow. I have all kinds of love to give before my time is up here on Earth but you do this and give that love you have to have money because they can't live on Love and caring alone. Being wealthy is not a requirement to adopt, but you are required to show an ability to support. As a loving and caring grandmother, you would be very welcome to apply to be a foster parent. The need is great. The kids' needs in foster care are paid by the state and they even pay the foster parent a stipend. Ever thought about it? 😉😊❤❤❤

Its okay David, I can't handle the cold either. I am so sensitive to it that I will shiver and my teeth start chatting. When I had Angel, my service dog, I would take her out and if it was super cold, it would take me an hour to warm up. Angel was a sweet solid white Pomeranian. Spoiled, but sweet. When I picked her up from the groomer, she wanted to go cost everyone we could. She was beautiful. Hannah is a very deep thinker. Your family makes me think how often we can take for granted the beauty around us. Blessings of new awakings.

What a beautiful scene!!!!! Watching your channel makes me thankful that I have my sight--something I think a lot of people take for granted! I had John Denver playing in my head during this one lol. I was also thinking about what it is that keeps bringing me back to your videos and I realized that the way you do your videos is essentially just us spending time with your family as simple as that is lol. The videos are just easy to watch and filmed in a way where we are just spending time hanging out with a nice family. That’s a feeling I think a lot of people need sometimes and can get here.

I use to love camping when I was in the Boy Scouts. We went to FDR State Park and The Little Grand Canyon State Park. We hiked in all of our gear and chopped wood for the fire. Also I appreciate the Shenandoah reference. "Moon Over Georgia" is one of my favorite songs!

Hannah has participated in many choirs along the way. She learned that song as an audition piece which earned her a spot in a more advanced chorus in school. I never thought about having them shout to hear the echo! We used to do that as kids. Good idea! Next time....😉💕

My husband and I just went Glamping for our wedding Anniversary. We stayed in a lotus bell tent, with an ensuite, balcony, heater. Almost like a hotel really! Telling our children about our experience reminded me about this video! Glamping is the only type of camping for me 😉
