  • Plants are amazing....
From threes that weigh 2,000 tonnes, to plants that live over 5,000 years (still alive since before the Great Pyramid of Egypt was built). They transform our planet, parasitise and even kill other plants and a few actually eat animals as big as rats. Lastly, meet the sensitive plant, whose leaves close as soon as they are touched, and discover how to grow this amazing plant at home!
Join Stewart McPherson on a quest to discover some of the world's most amazing plants!
This is the fourth of a series of fourteen "World's Most Spectacular Plants" videos.

plants ARE amazing. i'd love to know your thoughts on plants using humans as propagators and pollinators. i sometimes wonder if wheat has made itself so addictive to humans that we are basically it's slaves! i know we have only been around for the smallest amount of time in comparison to them but i often think that if they can adapt so readily to take advantage of literally millions of other species and every single kind of climate, maybe they're doing that with us too 😁😁

Yeah or brown algae, which are not even much related to modern plants, but make the biggest sea weeds in the world. Kelp forests are made of brown algae

Hilarious how he said "Get an adult" when explaining how to build a diy propagator, like all his viewers are children. Are they? He's my most favorite carnivorous plant man that's fosure.
