Like Shug said in his Video don't hang higher than your willing to fall. I would ad don't don't hang over anything your not willing to fall onto. You may want some shock cord on your hammock tarp tie outs. It is real useful in windy conditions. :)

When you are breaking camp, is the hammock and sleeping pad in the snake skins or is it the hammock, sleeping pad and rain fly? I cannot get the hammock to fit in the snake skins if the sleeping pad is left in the hammock.

Does the pack have a sleeping bag compartment divider?
Does the pack have the sling back feature?
This pack does not, however I’ve never found it to be an inconvenience. Not sure what you mean by sling back!

hammocks dont have cold ratings, your quilts will have a cold rating

Yeah, tarp was on wrong, and no 30° hang. It matters

I cannot get the hammock to fit in the snake skins if the sleeping pad is left in the hammock.
It can be done, they can all fit in the snake skins but it takes very long and it is very hard. Almost not worth it.
