So I started watching and recognized a lot of the ingredients and processes my Grandmother used and did. I was so impressed about some of the many cool suggestions that can be used and I can't wait to try them. I like how your down to earth instruction feels like you're just offering a heads up on the pros and cons of some of the processes while not being dismissive if someone has another way they might choose to use on some steps or ingredients. And, yes, it surpasses any meatloaf recipe that my grandmas & any other relatives have passed down to me. I love to see the onion and bell pepper in my meatloaf, just the way you did it. After I watched your video I wanted to go out and get the ingredients to make it. This seems like a good meat combination. I know that ground pork can really enhance the taste of the meatloaf. We make our meatloaf with just ground turkey and Italian turkey sausage. We had to cut back on some things (being older) and watch our cholesterol. But occasionally we each ground beef and it’s like a treat when you haven’t had it for awhile. Surprisingly, turkey meatloaf is very good. But this looks like a very flavorful meatloaf.

Yess!! This look scrumptious! I too sweat my veggies when I do potato salad, but I haven’t done it with my meatloaf. Growing up in the islands, we put raw veggies in all our casseroles, stews and meat dishes. Also, your home is lovely!
I just cooked meatloaf your way on weekend! Love the idea of freezing one loaf to eat at a later date. I forgot to add the wostershire sauce but my loaves still came out tasty.
You need to remove the oil off the food and once you remove the excess off then glaze it so it won’t be greasy. That’s what I would’ve done to get over to the sink and got that all out and took the next pan and did the same thing and then set it back down and then glazed it didn’t stick it back in the oven and let it cook without the excess oil. looks good looks delicious.

I’m from Oklahoma and I make mine like a roll cake using mashed potatoes using a deep dish loaf pan. It’s a beautiful thing when you cut the loaf since you have a spiral of brown and white and the glaze takes it to another level.

Yoki you have a lot of skills lady and that look meat loaf mixing the ingredients together with the meat and put it in half pan crystal glass and the meat loaf done and going to put a sauce on top and look good to eat
