I played a little when I was young and decided at age 65 to see what was possible for someone my age, who isn’t particularly talented, and try to become an accomplished player. Now at age 72, after thousands of hours of focused practice I am playing beyond what I even imagined was possible. Dedicate yourself to good practice, have fun playing and you can do this. I feel like I’m at the beginning of this journey 🎸

I started learning to play 3 months ago at age 41. Is it realistic for me to believe I can reach this level at some point if I put in the hours?
Yes. If you put in the hours over a long enough time horizon. so many awesome musicians started at an older age than that :D
