Hi Jack, Been following your videos for awhile now... Really enjoy them! I've been a driver for almost 20 years now & it can get mundane; you have a great way of somehow re-sparking that feeling we get as to why we do what we do.... Thank you!! I live in Marion, Iowa... so a little heads up for ya..... It's COLD now, bring your coat. Stay safe & maybe our paths will meet someday!
Your Volvo is perfect. The KW are nice trucks no douth, but ill take a volvo with a big sleeper and an I shift anytime.I've diven many volvos and they are realy spacious and comfortable..As a broker they are great trucks to own. They turn on a dime Great visabilty, and probably the smothest ride of any truck out there. And i've driven may trucks. The last volvos ive driven had the I shift. You can drive on automatic or you can drive on my favorite setting, Manulalshift. They have really improved since they first came out. They shift really well. I really liked them. I like your truck Jack. It's serving you well.
I start my CDL school in January, probably will be with a trainer in February, I hope eventually I bump into you on the road sometime in 2018.... you are a legend Jack!
Love your videos jack I am the guy that lives off 71 in Ohio my dad is a trucker so I know a lot and I am grateful that you teach me new things because I am only 13 you and my dad have inspired me to be a otr trucker
Max Penrod Rather you end up a trucker or not, learn how to use punctuation properly. Just because you drive a truck, doesn't give you permission to bd a complete moron. Too many people in the industry fail to communicate properly with the ol' written word.
As always Jack, I enjoyed this video. I drove a truck briefly in 2016 and have come to realize how much I miss the freedom that the open road offers. Your videos feed my craving to be back out there until I decide to get back in a truck. You are by far the best trucking vlogger I have seen on the net. Keep em coming...
Keep the videos comming Jack, Im a retired driver, been driving since 82, I lost both legs above the knees. thats why I retired. Anyway. Keep em comming .
Hi Jack. I'm willing to bet the two deliveries you made at those nurseries were either in or around Forest Hill Louisiana. I live about 25 miles from there. Glad you were in the neighborhood. Take care
It's truly amazing Jack, how many of your videos take me back to areas of the country, settings and places I have been, back in my tenure of being a trucker. For instance, a truck stop early in this particular video on I-10 in the Fla. panhandle .... I'm wondering if the truck stop was (at least formerly) a 76 truck stop .... There was a hotel next door which had a wooden-bridge style of walkway over a deep ditch which I used to walk back and forth.. Then, you travel on to West Monroe, La (where I have also been) for the load going up to Iowa. I DO enjoy following along in these travels!!! Thank you for your great work and for your service. I've never met you Jack, but you're someone I appreciate as well as admire, for your clean, honest and informative programs. Keep up the good work, and God's Blessings.
Enjoyed the video. Do you have to put a lock 🔒 on your trailer so no one “accidentally” takes it? Also was just up in Iowa last week, went to the I-80 truck museum what a nice display of old trucks they have. Peace!
I wish Jack would say where more of his stops are. He rarely does anymore. I wonder who the bag shipper was? We were based out of West Monroe and used to haul a lot for Bancroft Bag.
Awww, Velcro. A truckers best friend. Hey Jack I really love your videos. Takes me back to when I was driving OTR. I really do miss it at times. There never was a truer statement as " Once a truck driver. Always a truck driver. " It just gets in your blood some how. Anyways, Ive got a request for a video. Nothing to fancy or long. Just a little night time trucker song with views of the open road. No commentary, not that I don't enjoy your banter because I do. But, just something to bring back the memories. Hell, you most likely got enough stock footage to make this. Anyways, just a request. No need to get in any rush. Thanks Driver.
hey I'm Adrian I live in baton rouge Louisiana I hate the roads in Louisiana to but when you are on a monthly check its cheaper to live in Louisiana so I have to dill with the roads keep doing the trucker videos I love seeing them
Question , you did an oil change a few episodes back. do you know or find that is basic standard oil versus a synthetic Mobil 1 or Amsoil would be better or offer some advantages possibly . I know the price of the oil is about almost triple I think, synthetic oil versus the other.
Long time ago . . . once had a box of nails spill in the trailer-right over a hole in the trailer floor-for about a stretch of 75 miles north of Detroit on 1-75 . . . Oops . . . A guy behind me swerved to avoid one . . . and got a ticket . . . for "tacks evasion" . . .
Hey Jack, love your videos.... so when will "old red" become "new red" ... how many miles will you run it too and will you part exchange her for something new... keep up the good work and stay safe out there....
Dear Jack: When I watch your videos. you always get up at 4 AM in order to start trucking and my question is how do you deal with the time changes in USA? does it affect your sleeping time ? Thank you for reading my message and your videos are great ! I hope to watch a new video soon .take care Jack !!
And here I thought I was gonna see you getting a tire changed along the Interstate :( Fun watching your video's even if you didn't pick up a nail :D Safe travels...
sorry to ask Jack, but how long ago did you film this part? Since on this movie the old chair covers are still on... I noticed that B-). Keep on trucking, and thank you for sharing one of your adventures, like to watch it allways, gives me the feeling I have seen America, though I have never been there at all. I am from the Netherlands by the way... So everywhere on the world, you've got people who like to follow you on your trucking adventures...
Jack - next time you are at Love's, ask them to enable "pump start" on your loyalty card. It's a one page form you fill out at the fuel desk and return it. They usually activate it within 24 hours. I drove for a small company that wanted to use AMEX cards for fuel - that always necessitated a trip inside at Love's and PFJ to start the pump. But both of them can add pump start to the loyalty card - that gets the pump going and then when you are done you go inside and pay with your fuel or credit card. Saved me lots of walking back and forth.
You know, I have no problem staying up and driving at 2 am, but if I have to get up before 7 am you might as well forget me driving. Its hard to stay awake.
Your short time in west Monroe u could of gone to duck commander and seen the guys from duck dynasty. I drive by there a lot just never have time to stop and see them
Jack, on your ELD installment video I noticed your program did not show line 5 "personal conveyance" as an O/O this is an important issue,, will your ELD allow you a line 5 option when when you're bob tailed?
if you're fueling at loves enough that your payment card not starting the pump is really getting to be a problem, you can get a pump start authorization on your loves card. then, all you have to do is swipe the rewards card at the pump, fuel, then go inside to pay and get your receipt.
+Gary Setterfield I guess we should just pee in bottles and leave them around? Lol. No, just kidding. I am surprised at how many times I see a sign like that.
This is not an insult Mr. Jack lol. But.... I knew there was something about your voice and I have a good ear and it finally dawned on me, between the Cadence and the tone of your voice, the way you separate your words and take pauses between them when you talk slowly lol you're very similar to mr. Rogers! It's actually pretty cool! One of these days you got to make a video where you take us through mr. Jack's neighborhood 😆
Cotter pins are my enemy. Had to get one removed from a tire a couple weeks ago. Thankful for those in-dash tire pressure gages on new cars. Without it, I may have been WAY out in the country before I realized I was losing air.
Because it's called a tractor trailer. Tractor, from what I think, meant as a large vehicle capable to hitch and carry a trailer. In the Midwest it's usually called a semi but is some states it varies. The UK and Ireland call it a lorry, and the Aussies are just goofs. 😄
Would you please show more of your video driving down the road without The music and no more speed on Camera please that will be good because I like your videos they are good be safe my friend
+Glenn Hunter probably not Glenn because it is very dull but thanks for the suggestion. At some point in time I might make one video about that, or something like that.
HEY lndiana Jack thats some pretty smooth cool jazz nice and mellow

Enjoyed the video. Do you have to put a lock 🔒 on your trailer so no one “accidentally” takes it? Also was just up in Iowa last week, went to the I-80 truck museum what a nice display of old trucks they have. Peace!
You are right about having to go inside waiting in line to have the pump turned on.

I wish Jack would say where more of his stops are. He rarely does anymore. I wonder who the bag shipper was? We were based out of West Monroe and used to haul a lot for Bancroft Bag.

Cabovers are great at short loading docks, and short turning spots.. That one was esp...nice!!!
Long time ago . . . once had a box of nails spill in the trailer-right over a hole in the trailer floor-for about a stretch of 75 miles north of Detroit on 1-75 . . . Oops . . .

+Rudy Van Nistelrooy hello Rudy from the Netherlands. I don't plan on buying a new truck unless I somehow come upon a lot of money.

Yeah looks like an 80's Olds Cutlass Supreme

20:46---in French the last constant is silent.
West Monroe is home of Duck Dynasty!!
can you give me some information about traveloko
D Barth Call them and ask for Jack or Eric. Don’t mention watermelons 🍉.
if you're fueling at loves enough that your payment card not starting the pump is really getting to be a problem, you can get a pump start authorization on your loves card. then, all you have to do is swipe the rewards card at the pump, fuel, then go inside to pay and get your receipt.
It would have been cool if you ran into Uncle Si from Duck Dynasty. LOL
That’s a fact, Jack!
West Monroe is where duck dynasty is filmed. Great diner to eat at as well
You get the alot in the UK, no use of facilities. It's shocking how badly truckers are treated here. Keep on trucking Jack👍
+Gary Setterfield I guess we should just pee in bottles and leave them around? Lol. No, just kidding. I am surprised at how many times I see a sign like that.
Duck Commander (the Duck Dynasty guys) is in West Monroe :-)

I'm not sure what you mean. I would have to go back and watch this film again. Won't you be my friend?" :-)
Cotter pins are my enemy. Had to get one removed from a tire a couple weeks ago. Thankful for those in-dash tire pressure gages on new cars. Without it, I may have been WAY out in the country before I realized I was losing air.
What happened to your nice new seat covers?
George Fisher 0:07 This film is for entertainment purposes only. Events shown may or may not have taken place in the order they are presented.
"There pulling a Swift" Say no more, You need to make allowances some times.
jack love your videos...just a small nit pick can you please keep your windshield cleaner when you are filming....lol
If I rember correctly that parking lot a Denham springs was rather on the small side ehhh
Why is it called tractor? Farmers have tractor too, for ex. plowing or harvesting. Big difference of vehicle
In Australia we call it a "Prime Mover" don't know why, i've no idea why you blokes call it a tractor?
Dave Hinves We call them tractors to piss off people from other countries
Hahaha bad language
Stephan Nonting 😃
Because it's called a tractor trailer. Tractor, from what I think, meant as a large vehicle capable to hitch and carry a trailer. In the Midwest it's usually called a semi but is some states it varies. The UK and Ireland call it a lorry, and the Aussies are just goofs. 😄
"Des Moines" are french words that mean "monks"
French prononciation... « day mwan »
What happened to your seat covers?
Michael Gennuso 0:07 This film is for entertainment purposes only. Events shown may or may not have taken place in the order they have been presented.
+Michael Gennuso I still have them. They are great. The films are about a month behind
I think about you when playing on American truck simulator lol
+Leads The Fallen I have a lot of friends that play that
I don't know how realistic it is though as i don't drive trucks lol
Leads The Fallen Not completely realistic but close enough
i want a frostie from wendys can you stop
WD-40 will fix a squeaky seat spray it right on the rubber mount
You're correct about not pronouncing the S in Des Moines, IA. But, the S is pronounced for Des Moines, WA
Jim Taylor That's neat to know.
Would you please show more of your video driving down the road without The music and no more speed on Camera please that will be good because I like your videos they are good be safe my friend
+Glenn Hunter probably not Glenn because it is very dull but thanks for the suggestion. At some point in time I might make one video about that, or something like that.
Des Moines, silent S’s on both.
it s french for The Monks
Jack, I've always wondered what made you laugh in that closing clip?
ha ha ha ha ha
are you still with traveloko
+D Barth yes and really enjoying it.
Des Moines pronounced de Moin. I live there.
Conrad The more you know.
Next you’ll tell us how to pronounce Illinois!
I still don’t get why people pull in on parking spots that are made to be backed in sounds like they are asking for trouble
Tim J cause ppl are lazy and dont know how to back unless its a straight line
You got it right, its pronounced Duh Mo-een.
the A T C H A F A L A Y A
You are not complaining about the fuel card ,just pointing out the obvious flaw integrated within your specific fuel card!
not in loves anymore !!lol
splitscreen nice work makes me dizzy lol
i work for that company you show
+Robert Chapman that company where I picked up the bags?
indianajacktrucker no sir holland enterprise
You should had take that out side for cutting
I was thinking the same thing, ha ha ha
If he went outside at the truck stop everyone would be yelling, “Look out, Jack’s got a Hacksaw...”. That might turn into a horror flick!
maybe Loves wants to see your face :-)
You need to make it out west again. It makes for better videos.
Go visit 🦆 Commander (Duck Dynasty)
