Great review! Been loving this as well. And got the same color. Been having the most fun playing DS and 3DS on here.

I have a theory for one reason why this device feels really good to hold.
It's the same size as many controllers. Seriously. Put it next to an XBOX or PlayStation controller and you'll see it. It may not have the same ergonomics as a regular full-size controller, but it almost feels more like holding a regular controller that happens to have a screen on it than it does a handheld gaming device (which are usually either boxy and flat if they're really small, or they put your hands a lot farther apart)

The d-pad in the Cube is very different in use from that of the Genesis controller. I think that's the generation of gaming you were thinking about kid; the greatest generation of gaming the 4th gen.

i like your perspective for these handhelds because i feel like most reviewers are too focused on all the stats but the stats dont represent the device as a whole. u have no idea how a device feels until you start playing it. so thank you for your honest review, very helpful.

i also dont care much for retro games (i have no nostalgia for them) so to hear someone who mainly plays more ps2 wii or 3ds its nice to know this device is just as great for a similar use case to mine.

Love the 1:1 aspect ratio on my RGB30 too was just waiting to get one without light bleed 🔥

Thanks for the insight I mainly emulate the GB family of games through the SNES so the power would be a bit of overkill for me. The amazing dpad and comfortable form factor do make it interesting and a possible replacement for my PK RGB30.

I'd love to see THIS in 3:2... That would be awesome. If they did, that would be an instant buy for me, the ability to play mostly everything with few compromises for each instead of huge ones for some.

I read on Discord it's possible to play PS2 full screen by using widescreen hacks but then aspect ratio to full? I dunno, I don't own this device. Might be possible with the Gamecube and wii? Give it a try!

D-pad rocker makes it INFINITELY more comfortable. The rg35 series is uncomfortable for not having it
