Benromach *bottle* labels (maybe not boxes?) often(?) show "natural colour" or similar such text turned vertically, i.e. easily overlooked. The non-chill filtered bit is usually absent even from Contrasts Series 46%abv bottlings, but maybe they're now starting to add it? They should if possible.
The Sherry Cask Finished bottling has not made it to nz--nor the Cask Strength releases since the 2010 a few years ago--but I very much enjoy the 15 and the Sherry Cask Matured 2012--which was a "double maturation"/longer finish. Also like the 10 a lot.
@lyacoubian Benromach Organic is now part of the Contrasts Series. 2012 & 2013 available here, 2014 was on Roy's vPub (twice) earlier in the year: first time Roy very taken, second time (Rugby "theme") less-so. I have a 2012 but yet to try. Dramface did a comparison of a couple of years favoring the older/non-Contrasts 43% version, allegedly then still available some places in N. America.
The jump in price of the 15 here is the sore/sour point for me. Used to be 62 euros, now 85 euros, a 37% increase. That was at the same time as significant UK discounting late last and early this year that brought prices there close to what they'd been prior. So used to be one of the best-priced 15s (here) at the time, now middle of the pack/high. For comparison, Speyburn 15 rose 23% over comparable time, here.

    Sour & tart... Ugh..!!!
I still have 3/4 of an old bottle/label of Benromach Organic and it is superb. Not sure if it is still produced.
Not a fan of red wine finished whiskies except for the Teeling Single Grain, which I know is sourced juice... But who cares, it's really good..!!! Cheers Jason 🥃

Poor old Benromach. It doesn't get many good reviews anymore. No one likes the new livery and everyone moans about the 10yo being 43%. In my opinion the new vintage cask strengths are rarely if ever as good as the old 100 % proof. Still sales were up 25% last year and unlike insanely over hyped Springbank to which it's regularly compared, you can usually get a bottle of it.
