But at the same time didn’t really seem to know who Dennis was and how much he knows about these cars. That’s nice to see - shows he was a stand-up guy wanting to see the best for his beloved car. That sure is a thing of beauty 👌🏻

Yes sir. It’s good to talk w/ folks that have the skills & actually worked their own cars. Blood, sweat & the tears instead of a guy that wrote a large check & doesn’t know anything whatsoever about his car or truck but enters into local car shows & *steals* a trophy.

I used to watch these videos with my dad before he passed and I know he would've been texting me about watching this one given the split window. I had a model of one in my room as a kid and still have it on my desk to this day. Watching these always brighten my day.

Great find Dennis, a truly beautiful and very loved American classic sports car. Always a gentleman to everyone and so very blessed because of that, it takes absolutely nothing to be nice to people.

As a sixteen year old, an acquaintance/friend had a silver 1963 split window coupe that I could have bought for $1,700. This was about 1970. My dad wouldn’t have anything to do with it and sad no. I’m sure I’d still have that car today if I could have just convinced him to let me buy it. A Mid year corvette has yet to be in my stable and I’m going to change that at a much higher cost than back then. Great video Dennis and gang.

I thought it was pretty cool when you were up in River Falls to buy the Jeeps late winter early spring. Even cooler to have you back when it's green and beautiful here in Wisconsin enjoy watching your coffee walk. All the information and facts that you have locked away in your Automotive gray matter. And when you were up here for the Jeep purchases you could have gone to Pier 500 inside outside in the igloos they have out on the patio for winter to show how the rest of the world we do it in the North! I live within 9 miles of River Falls and less than a half to a mile away from Pier 500 great to have you in our area. There's a lot of car nuts up here oh, that use the winters to build and restore classic cars!

Never any new Vettes in my built-in-1965-neighborhood that I could remember as a 1966 child, but these people who moved in around the corner in the late '70s had a probably '66 or '67 convertible or roadster in Lemans Blue, and with the hardtop.
In the slightly nicer and newer part of this neighborhood lived an Oldsmobile dealer, and his driveway was the first place I ever saw a Toronado XS - I remember slowing down on my bike, to gawk at that crazy wrap-around backlite.

Back in June 2020 I bought my uncle's 1966 427 4 speed convertible with optional hard top. It was his second C2. It is my 4th Corvette and my absolute favorite. Great find on your split window.

Hands down the best owner you could hope to by a vehicle from. Unmatched passion. I’m a Mustang guy but that’s a gorgeous Vette.

The sixty three split window is a very desirable car. But I preferred my 58, it was more of a sports car feel. Where, to me, the sixty three was more of a personal luxury car.

Wow, what a find and the kind of history I like that comes with. Even though it went through some changes and used as a racer at the track (Senior son of a drag strip Dad here), I'm so glad he restored it back to as stock as it could get. Just wished he had set aside the original numbers matching engine, but at least a code correct one was found and it sure sounds fantastic. Not sure if you (Dennis) liked the shift knob but it sort of was a cool idea and looked pretty classy! Bet that white knob is back on already. Sorry you didn't give us the food review as usual. Not sure how to interpret that but maybe I do? But it's all about the CAR here, so Congrats on this find!

Now that is the kind of caretaker we all dream of. Get well soon, fellas. And if you have room for an old dude who can pick things up and put things down, I'd love to meet you all. ❤

Hi Jan, this Mike, the seller of the 63. Yes I truly had an L88 427. Hard to find yes but I had one.
So as for the weight, when I put the big block in the front end was lower then the back end. I couldn’t have that.
    Best regards, Mike
