I saw the Gen V on Amazon. I noticed that it was a spin-off of The Boys. But I just could not bring myself to press play. I’ve never seen a preview of this show I’ve never seen a clip, nothing. Shetty clearly mentioned she wanted to make the virus contaminate through air and maybe marie is more powerful than stromfront, she is clearly stronger than Victoria or homelander didn't want to kill her and it wasn't full blast.
She never got the chance to release the virus because as soon as it had been developed the fella gave it away. She asked him to make it contagious and he was supposedly testing it at the point he went rogue. So... what are you talking about?

I saw the Gen V on Amazon. I noticed that it was a spin-off of The Boys. But I just could not bring myself to press play. I’ve never seen a preview of this show I’ve never seen a clip, nothing. After watching this video I am so glad I did not press play I’m starting to pick up on this shit without even watching.

Antony Starr's cameo was easily the best thing that came out of this awful, awful show. I was genuinely disappointed that Homelander didn't kill Marie, though I guess I shouldn't be surprised as she seems to have more plot armor than Rey Palpatine. The writers and showrunners should all be ashamed of themselves.
I enjoyed Soldier Boy cameo saying those goofy lines.
The best part was Cate. I really love how she took up a Magento role of the show.

To be honest, I've enjoyed The Boys...but I've hated how much the current showrunner is using it to take petty little pot shots at conservatives. Now that he's writing his own, watching it crash and burn feels vindicating.
First series great, then it got more and more "relevant" with modern issues in our world, and I just checked out.

You can clearly see that when she go harder, homelander processed with to go amplify the power of his beam. So when Homelander blast Marie he just didn’t use full power for kill her.

I got as far as "for the final time, let's run through the plot". I was taken by surprise because I thought I'd watched episode 8 and was a few days behind watching episode 9. So I just went on Prime and saw that I have indeed watched 8, but there is no epiosde 9. The series has finished???? I had no idea! I guess that says a lot about the story when it's impossible to tell the difference between the beginning, middle or end.

Yup...they knew they had to stick to the script for the boys or the fans would have lambasted them, but with this show ..they had a clean slate to write their terrible crap/plots. But you could see the writing slowly creeping in over the last two seasons of the boys...season 4 is probably going to be trump vs the left, they already set Homelander up to be Trump and Trump's son
