Story 2's family was just badass. The narrator refused to let his dog get hurt, the dog was damned if his master was attacked and the mom! Incredibly well written and read story. Definitely one of my immediate faves.

Yeah, that one is one of my favorites too! It’s totally believable as well as to how a scenario like that could play out in a place like Montana. Even if not a dog man, anything (bear, cougar, etc.) attacking someone’s loved one or animals, most people wouldn’t hesitate to do the same thing to protect their loved ones & beloved pets. When you grow up in a place like that, you’re usually far away from other towns/cities, and even have little to no police that even if you’re able to call, usually take at least 40 minutes to get to you (at least that’s how it was where I grew up), so people learn early on to be as self-sufficient as possible. Nobody’s going to help you, so you gotta help yourself.

It’s very common among DV victims & very similar to Stockholm Syndrome. It’s sad, and doesn’t usually make sense to everyone on the outside looking in, but it happens more than people realize.

That second story about the dogman is insane. The guy literally was winning that fight with just a bat. The scariest creatures imo are the slime creatures because I imagine melee weapons and firearms not having much effect on them, some seem rather fast too so running away might not even be an option. Plus you don't know their intentions and capabilities.

I don’t discount everything automatically because there’s plenty of things we don’t know yet about our world, and many things that can’t be explained. I’m just curious where something like that would hang out? The woods obviously, but how? You’d think it’d dry out or something & would need to maybe live near water? Not gonna lie, I’m picturing a giant octopus-like creature waltzing through the woods of Montana & it just cracks me up because of how out of place it seems and is.
The fourth story is epic! When not even the idea of getting more gallons of luke-warm cheap canned bear can pacify that unstable deadbeat-maniac... death is just one machete-strike away :D

I grew up in Clark Fork, Idaho, about 8 miles from the Montana state line. I’ve experienced some strange things in the woods that I, nor the friends with me, couldn’t explain. People don’t realize how vast & remote those mountains & forests are. I’ve ran into weird structures in the middle of very remote places that looked like something was sleeping under them, seen odd lights in the woods at night-again in the deep backwoods, miles away from anyone else-and these lights didn’t move like normal flashlights or anything. We’ve had something walk around our camp that sounded bipedal. Besides the weird things, there’s the things you can account for that can be just as scary. I’ve been stalked & screamed at by mountain lions on a couple different occasions. To be honest, the worst are the moose-they’re everywhere & you’re more likely to run into them more than bears or cougars, and they’re more temperamental as well. I had a mama & her baby right outside our front steps one morning & couldn’t go to school because it was too dangerous to open the door & go by them without being charged by the mama. I don’t know how or why anyone would go into those mountains without firepower at least. Other than the animals & other unexplained things, there’s also some shady people who have to watch out for. Most are decent, but there are some weirdos you have be weary of as well, even all the way out there.

She ended up divorcing him, in the process of her divorce she was kidnapped once by him, but by God’s Grace a stranger helped her escape after seeing how he beat her. He didn’t stop trying to get her back and she was almost killed by this man three time’s! It was a scary time for my sister and the family, never knowing when he would show up. This man shot my brother for helping my sister get away. He survived thank God but kept terrifying her and trying to kidnap her several times but failed! Ten years after he had been out of her life, we heard in the news he was sent to prison for life. He had raped and thought he’d killed two women. By the Grace of God one young girl survived after running them both over with his car. This why he was caught, and finally be put where he needed to be. It’s scary to think, what if it as the first time he killed a woman… if he had done this before?

People like you make it harder for victims of domestic violence to get help or to even speak up. But I guess even the devil needs help spreading hate.

She seemed to forgot about the baby at some point. She was 7 months pregnant during the fall. Later it was winter, and below zero and they're staying in a tent. Is she getting any supplies for the baby? Or trying to find shelter? Maybe I'm just ignorant of this way of life. It seemed like they had a place before skipping town. Edit: at the end, she says it's 26 below zero, and it must mean °F since they're in the US. That's not safe to be out in period, even for a short period of time. Do they have a bunch of arctic thermal gear? A summer camping tent isn't gonna do anything in that kind of weather. You'd die in your sleep.
@@provingangels well growing up out there I was in the woods a lot and was tought about the wildlife and saw a couple "animals" that didn't resemble any normal wildlife. It was mostly out of the corner of my eye seeing something bipedal ducking behind a tree, and heard some crazy calls that were definitely not from any of the normal animals in the forest. Also saw crazy stuff in the night sky. Camping deep in the woods you can see every single star and it's breathtaking until you see something erratically darting, and changing course impossibly, across the sky at incredible speeds. That's about the best I can explain it all without writing a short novel
Love the stories but I have to say with no disrespect of course…. The story with the boyfriend and girlfriend that lived in tents and the guy abused his girl. She lost the her bay. Well why get pregnant again? With an abusive man? Just think and don’t ever bring a child into the world with an abusive parent
Did it truly sound like she had a choice? If you listened to the story she states he didn't start that way. He started getting more abusive the further away they got from her friends and family. That's how it starts they isolate you, break you down mentally, and financially. Then the physical abuse starts.
The whole second story was hard to take serious when it was saying there was no other sound other than my ATV. If you are riding and ATV the only thing you hear is an ATV, made the story come off more creepy pasta trying to make it sound real.
My nutbag abuse ex said I was a witch too. I ran with it. (He wasn’t entirely incorrect and picked the wrong girl to torment.) It was joyous knowing at the end of it all HE was scared of ME. He was just an insecure coward it turns out. 😊 And I went on to grow stronger and fearless. Of him at least. And the spirit was right. Letting him freeze would have been well deserved.
I kept thinking of Kang and Kodos from the simpsons during story 1. You could always cut down the forest near your grazing fields if Kang and Kodos were eating your cows. Or burn it all down

PS I don't like drinking much anyways except for a social drink here and there but if you know or find out you're an angry drunk. Stop drinking. Smoke weed if you need something to relax you. She seemed to forgot about the baby at some point. She was 7 months pregnant during the fall. Later it was winter, and below zero and they're staying in a tent. Is she getting any supplies for the baby? Or trying to find shelter? Maybe I'm just ignorant of this way of life.
It seemed like they had a place before skipping town.
Edit: at the end, she says it's 26 below zero, and it must mean °F since they're in the US. That's not safe to be out in period, even for a short period of time. Do they have a bunch of arctic thermal gear? A summer camping tent isn't gonna do anything in that kind of weather. You'd die in your sleep.

@@provingangels well growing up out there I was in the woods a lot and was tought about the wildlife and saw a couple "animals" that didn't resemble any normal wildlife. It was mostly out of the corner of my eye seeing something bipedal ducking behind a tree, and heard some crazy calls that were definitely not from any of the normal animals in the forest. Also saw crazy stuff in the night sky. Camping deep in the woods you can see every single star and it's breathtaking until you see something erratically darting, and changing course impossibly, across the sky at incredible speeds. That's about the best I can explain it all without writing a short novel

Love the stories but I have to say with no disrespect of course…. The story with the boyfriend and girlfriend that lived in tents and the guy abused his girl. She lost the her bay. Well why get pregnant again? With an abusive man? Just think and don’t ever bring a child into the world with an abusive parent
Did it truly sound like she had a choice? If you listened to the story she states he didn't start that way. He started getting more abusive the further away they got from her friends and family. That's how it starts they isolate you, break you down mentally, and financially. Then the physical abuse starts.
In the first story, that must've been Ronald McDonald getting beef for the burgers
The whole second story was hard to take serious when it was saying there was no other sound other than my ATV. If you are riding and ATV the only thing you hear is an ATV, made the story come off more creepy pasta trying to make it sound real.

My nutbag abuse ex said I was a witch too. I ran with it. (He wasn’t entirely incorrect and picked the wrong girl to torment.) It was joyous knowing at the end of it all HE was scared of ME. He was just an insecure coward it turns out. 😊 And I went on to grow stronger and fearless. Of him at least. And the spirit was right. Letting him freeze would have been well deserved.

You could always cut down the forest near your grazing fields if Kang and Kodos were eating your cows. Or burn it all down
