I’ve thought that same thing. I’m not at all scared to listen when I’m awake even at 2 in the morning. But I’ll admit when I’m falling asleep while listening if I hear a weird noise it creeps me out. But yet I still listen most nights of a week while going to sleep. His voice is just so good.
That last guy would have been better off keeping his stuff on him. It should be the person trying to rob you thinking there’s nothing you have worth d ying over.
Look in the end, if I know no one is coming to save me, I’m hoping I’ll have the thought to know it’s me or them. And I’ll go down with teeth and rage.

I see a few comments about falling asleep to this. 😅 I do too sometimes. It's not that weird. The thing is, it's not so much about the content of the stories; it's more about the one telling them. DP's voice and tone when he narrates a tale is very pleasant and soothing. He's a good storyteller. If you're actively listening, he's interesting and really gets you into it. If you put him as more of a background sound, his voice is actually very relaxing and calming. One could fall asleep to it easily.

Decades before I was born, a few of my family members were playing at their grandparents' when they found what seemed to be a well in the woods. Old, rusty chain connected to nothing on one end, they pulled the other end out, remains of a bucket thing at the end. So they played there for a while, probably noting the odd details about it, such as it's being slightly raised above the rest of the ground. It didn't seem to have any water in it, but was full of mud and garbage, and wasn't lined with anything like they expected. They played with the mud in it for a while, then went home to tell their grandparents how they'd found some old well in the woods. They wondered in horror why Grandma screamed, dragged them outside, stripped them naked in the yard, then started spraying them with the hose while Grandpa ran around getting soap and towels and stuff. I imagine they all screamed too when they found out they'd been playing in a not-that-long-disused outhouse. Not sure how the chain and bucket came into play, and I guess they were all too freaked out by the realization that that hadn't been stinky mud to ask any questions.
Stay armed folk's. Again an again there has been nothing more proven against bad folk's. An that is self defense, hot led bad guys or gal's do not like that feeling an neither would you or I. Stay strong an have courage. They prey on the weak.

The next story the devil lives in us all, no man who ever lived at one time or another, from the great apostle Peter, who was rebuked by Jesus Christ when The Lord said to Peter get behind me Satan, yes this a great example of the Devil inside And if someone of the closness to God like Peter could be influenced by such darkness, this points to us all having at one time in our lives been affected by this evil, that is very present in this world, Today cryptids sighting, bigfoot, Dogman are ever increasing to come in contact more and more in these last days with people. We read in the Bible in the last days evil would increase, as Paul penned around 2000 year's ago.
The ONLY thing horrifying in the chain and well story is how colossally stupid the two main characters are!!! 😂. Third werewolf/dogman story: Its crazy ridiculous how almost all these type of cryptids are--say it with me--seven feet tall. 😂😂😂
Nearly everyone in these stories runs. Now, I'm not expecting heroics. No. No. But it's almost more exhausting than all the rest of the story. I'm a very slow, very bad runner. I just cannot get any speed behind me, no matter how much I try or I concentrate on it, trying to boost myself a bit, I just can't. And then there is the pain. As soon as I start to run, well, I'm no longer a spring chicken (see what I did there?). But I've broken or snapped everything in one of my knees and have steel holding my spine up. But even before then, omg, the burning that overtakes my legs and the loss of breath, or even the way breathing FEELS, as if you're breathing in dry ice or something. So, I decided long ago that if something like that last story would happen to me, I'd have to stand and fight. I'll surely lose. But I'm not going down without forcing a LOT of evidence off any of my attackers. They *will* have to go to a hospital to be patched up, and hopefully the hospital staff will call cops and the cops will do their job from there on out. But everytime a character runs and then hides I just think "yeah... as if your heavy breathing isn't going to give you away immediately..."
Final Story, by “JustAnotherCreep”: The “main character” was traveling through the “SMOKY MOUNTAINS”; (TIMESTAMP-43:26) but in one of the “last sentences ‘narrated’, he states” (Timestamp-56:32-56:35) “If you’re ever traveling through the backroads of the ‘ROCKY MOUNTAINS’..”…🤦🏼♀️ The “Smoky Mountains” and the “Rocky Mountains” are on the OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE COUNTRY!! 🙄 😂
Going into any part of the Appalachians (or Smokies, as the case may be), alone, at night, with no protection is just asking for trouble. Regardless, that story started with the writer saying they were in the Smoky Mountains and ending with them warning people not to drive through the Rockies. Someone can't keep their facts straight.
The last story was kinda ruined when the author forgot they were writing about the Smokey Mountains and called them the Rockies instead. I don't care if you made the story up, at least keep it straight. Details matter.
The quality of your stories has gone so down hill even since you started offering money... Like you can just tell people are making them up and trying their hardest to write them well and they are just missing not only the Believable aspect... But also the emotion you can just tell from a good real experience. Is sad I hardly ever watch anymore and I'm like always disappointed me... Your a great narrator... The stories just are... Mehh
