Great video arsen trucking I am a new subcriber just subbed your video and is planning on getting my CDL and becoming a diesel technician and will be certified soon by God grace keep the videos coming learning a lot thanks a lot happy 2020
Sock or towel is good on the hood mount but I tried something that worked. I figured it’s rubber so it will squeak from friction. So I put some spare 75w90 gear oil on it and low and behold it never made noise again. It’s been several months now and still no noise.
I’ve broke the bolts in them torqued out of a hard corner hammer down on the big kitty! Use silicone grease on those hood mounts and they won’t make a sound.
Thanks! Solved 2 of my squeaking/popping noises at once
