I'm from Clitheroe, they originally wouldn't allow a mosque and there was an article in the new York times about how Clitheroe folk thought the town was too posh. It was nothing to do with that. Certain areas are just more old fashioned than others. Blackburn has more mosques than church and has a majority Muslim population. There is a mosque in clitheroe now, I only found out by accident recently as I moved out some years ago
The budget. The inheritance tax on farmland. Often people look at the figures and think that such policy represents a means to an end. I think it s much more than debts and payments. I think that such a policy is designed so that family farmers will find themselves in such heavy debt that they will sell the farm to Multinational corporations. Maybe this will be the model for a new form of comunism. So, instead of the state owning all of a nations assets perhaps the corporations could take that role. Then we really could be in the position if owning nothing and being happy.
Until these problems that effect the working class actually turns up and happens in their life to them or their family they will never understand. When this does happen the realisation is a complete shock. HOW CAN THESE PEOPLE SIMPLY NOT UNDERSTAND!!! it's so damn frustrating.

I've never seen so many folk from different walks of life in one place. It was bursting at the seams. Lots being started up in Industrial areas.
