Definitely see the admiration between John and Olivia. Great chemistry between these two!
One of the few artists that at the peak of their career chose to sing two songs about causes they cared about instead of another love song that could bring back more money and fame to them. Such a wonderful being you were, Olivia

I remember the days when I couldn't go past a store checkout counter without seeing pix of John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John cuddling, making goo-goo eyes at each other, and lurid headlines in the Star and National Enquirer: "Revealed! John & Oliva's Love Child." And I'd think, "These two are SO not doing it." And I was right.

Back to say I love her so much. She did so much more than make music.
Two of my all time favorite singers, Olivia and Karen. Karen Carpenter is so extremely thin. Now it's so obvious she was starving herself, which damaged her heart and caused her death from heart failure, so sad.
Painfully thin and looks very fragile, so so sad.
@@philippakingdon3437 Yes, Karen's cheek's are so sunk in. Very, very sad. Karen died in 1983 at the age of 32. I never forgot the year and her young age. Very sad.
I guess what damaged her heart to death were the pills, not the diet. May be I am wrong.
I'm not an expert on what damaged Karen's heart but I'm sure that the starving herself and taking diet pills or laxatives did not help.@@LauRa-re9un

Olivia always played down her accomplishments. No matter how big Olivia was , she treated everyone as her equal. Don't see that today with today's artist. They are cocky and entitled
She was around what around 59 years including her work in the 60s. She did so much and never have I heard her make a cocky remark and she’s truly missed.

Thankyou so much for putting this up. I have been following a lot of ONJ's earlier career through YT and found this one. I must have missed it. It's great seeing things I haven't seen before and lovely seeing a bit more of the other stars on this too. Being an Aussie I was enlightened by what Rick had to say about things too.

Incredible that there is shown a video about getting physical, about fat people and fit people, and Karen Carpenter was there, I wonder what she felt.
By the other way, we went from John Travolta´s male chauvinist successful move Saturday Night Fever to a video with Olivia Newton John showing women power. And it only passed 3 years since the movie, 1978 to 1981. Looks like times were changing quickly. I am sure John Travolta wasn´t male chauvinist but the movie and his character were.
