I've gotten in the habit of checking the site before bed. Last week, all 3 EVH inspired guitars were there. I had pick, and quickly, before they were gibe! I chose the exact one you got. I don't care for the MN style, and not a big fan of relics, just personal preference. It arrived today & I'm in love. Love the figured maple neck & stainless frets!!! Just wanted to point out a couple minor differences in the one I got. No locking tuners, which is fine, it has the locking nut. Secondly, my bridge actually says FLOYD ROSE on it & has the FR logo. Lastly, it has a push/pull pot, giving me the screaming humbucker as well as single coil tones. All in all, what a deal for $260. Stunning value really. Also wanted to thank you for the video, very well done & I enjoyed it a lot.

I got the reliced version of this axe. I didn't care for the tuners so I got some 18:1's to put on. Besides that and some new strings, I don't plan on modding it. It sounds and plays great!

No they released the same VH finished strat style as yours except it's relecked and the truss adjustment is at the headstock. That's the one I have. 3 VH finished guitars dropped and sold out within hours. 2 strat styles and 1 Wolfgang style.

I just ran across this video, i was thinking about getting they roughly cost I beleive around 250, I own some real evh wolfgang standards I also have a couple of kramers and a charvel San dimas and the guitars I mostly play are my wolfgangs, I recently bought a kramer from american musical supply it was roughly 650 and I had to level a couple of frets I wasnt pleased with that at all the rep. gave me 35 off my next months pymnt for the trouble which I think was crazy you would think a guitar with a price if 650 bucks wouldnt have issues my wolfgangs where near the same price and play great, I really want to check one of these evh fireflys out even if I have to do some minor fixing I think it would be worth it, after playing it awhile have you noticed any faults please let me know, great video take care and god bless

I'm not sure you can call yourself an EVH fan when you make a point to buy guitars that are knock offs and don't help take care of Wolf. He was pretty clear about making a point to let everyone know that was the biggest reason he setup EVH Guitars the way he did. To take care of Wolf after Ed eventually lost his fight with cancer. This whole thing is unconscionable to me.
I highly doubt Wolf is hurting for money. His inheritance ensures he doesn't have to work a day in his life. He's not making music for financial gain. He's doing it because he loves making music. He was set for life the day he was born.

How many firefly guitars have you PERSONALLY purchased and cut into cross sections (in order to verify the "seven pieces of crapwood" theory)????? If you haven't cut ANY of their guitars into cross sections; how do you know they are made out of "crapwood"? Educate me on the origin of your wealth of hands-on knowledge about the tonewoods used in firefly guitars. Or are you just another name brand co*ksucker lashing out?? I own a gibson les paul standard and a fender american select on top of a couple fireflys. The fireflys are a ridiculous value for the price; and require INFINITELY less fret maintenance than the fender and the gibson (because American companies don't WASTE money making their products better and more durable when customers are happy paying for tech from the 50's). The tuners are crap and I expect terrible tuners on any sub 500$ guitar. A set of Gotoh SG381's are a WHOLE 30$ shipped on reverb. Big deal. These are solid platform guitars to build on and you are missing out by being such a snobby douche. Let me guess; you've got the magic ears that can totally HEAR the tonal difference between a nitro and poly finish right???

Firefly does the majority of their drops in the middle of the night since they operate from China and are a half day ahead of us.
