For connoisseurs of design, this Disney attraction is stunning. The entire experience is masterfully designed, satisfying and joyous. You enter a dark circus "playground" and receive a buzzer-pass to alert you when it's time to ride. The multi-level playground is engaging, supports the movie's story, and has dark elements of social commentary-- an oppressive circus demands that you climb to unsafe heights walk tightropes and escape a burning building. (All scripted, safe elements.) After spending a while in the dark circus, you escape into the open air to ride on the back of Dumbo-- a joyously free and exhilarating ride-- a commentary on incarceration and freedom. Brilliant.
