NO NAME NATIONALS! With less than 90 days left, it's time to start on the rebirth of the 59 BelAir

No Name Nationals 2024 will be September 19-21 2024 at Skelton raceway in Sikeston Missouri. This is an event for TH-cam content creators with at least 500 subscribers to their channel at the time of the event. This will be our 3rd year attending and the second as a participant. This year we may be driving two cars down. It's about 700 miles one way if we avoid the metropolises.
This years project is another 1959 Chevy BelAir 2 door. This one was last licensed in 1969. It's been a parts car for several people, and that's before i bought it on the EvelBay years ago.
This will be a budget build and we're trying to keep the original "survivor" look.
The drive line will be similar to what could have been ordered from the dealer.
The body will be all original paint for now.
Lets see if we can get this car together and drive the 700 mile to NNN 24 in Sikeston!

This one is in a lot better shape than I expected considering someone made it a parts car instead of fixing it. The plates were from 69 so it didn't spend much time on the road. You're hammering away on your ElCamino. I've been trying to keep up with that one

Man, that's a NICE body on that car!! Great work, GREAT lessons to - when you gotta do it yourself, nice n easy, little at a time, just the way you did it; very little chance of buggering things up.
AND - for everyone else, notice how much easier it'll be to swap drivetrain, fabricate, repair stuff as opposed to working over the fenders - very SMART tactic right there.
