One of my all time favorite movies. Only been to Ireland once (hate flying). My grandfather was 1 of 12, 3 came to the US (one being my grandfather), 1 went to Canada, so I have tons of relatives in Ireland. Scotland as well, as my dad was born there. Beautiful countries.

I love you" what's happening in this scene right here, is these 3 girls have taken a trip from the United States (Where they were all 3 born) to Ireland to have a fun week getaway, and the guy kissing the girl ends up marrying her and moving to the U.S., but then he dies of cancer or something, and so in his will he leaves a ticket for her and her 3 friends to return to Ireland, and go to the same pub where they first met, and a different guy is singing the exact same song,(for her birtday) but she's now crying because 5 or 10 years have passed, and her husband is dead. So the scene is actually showing 2 different phases of the same woman's life, in the same scene.
