Super disappointing to see this promotion of Temu in the plant community. I understand that these items are cheap and in budget for lots of people, but having cool cheap junk doesn’t disregard the clear human rights violations these companies are known for. Besides that, production of fast fashion and cheap items like this is unsustainable and detrimental to the environment and plants that we’re trying to collect and preserve in our houses. I don’t see this changing anytime soon due to the sore lack of empathy in today’s society. We are all at fault for tolerating and feeding into this.
In terms of plant supplies, unless you're making them all yourself, they all come from the same suppliers. So it's just a matter of how much you wanna pay for the same item in order to feel sufficiently virtuous.

To those who don’t know, there is a way to grow houseplants sustainably and environmentally friendly. I encourage everyone to do research on the companies they buy from. A quick google search will yield tons of results for sustainably made pots, sustainably harvested sphagnum and peat.

I have a couple pump sprayers that I use for pest treatment. I have azamax in one and capt jack's in the other. They've definitely saved my hands when I have to treat a bunch of plants.
What's the quality of the anthurium leaf blanket like? I've been wanting the gloriosum leaf blanket from Green Philosophy Co but they're usually $150 if they're not having a sale.
Although temu isnt personally my thing due to allegations of selling customer info, I cant really say I'm better for buying from shein or amazon bc they're all unethical in their own ways / theres no ethical consumption under capitalism.. (I don't say any of this from a hateful or judgemental place, btw, I'm just saying for those disappointed or whatever. All the big box stores are reselling these same "fast" goods,from the same suppliers 99% of the time). But I'm happy you're able to do a sponsorship - people should be paid fir their time and effort. Oh wow. I just got my first order from Temu today. That's so wild. I got Velcro tape, a little mini humidifier, clippers and scissors for the plants, lava rock mix for my cacti and succulent and the prop balls for air layering. I want to get some clear pots and self watering pots next. I must be bougie. I got the Anthurium blanket and pillows from the green philosophy company last year. 😂 I bought a 3 pack garden set from IKEA last year and it came with a scoop. It has a handle and I love it. Very useful. Never had the little cup scoop
