I used to undergo this treatment. My skin condition was as bad as this patient.
It obviously will not work at the first day, I had to come back to be treated for a few times and in the meantime I always had to keep my face clean (washing face 4-5 times a day with cleansers), eating healthy and kept drinking a lot of water. It was 10 years ago but those pimples never came back.
It was very painful, but trust me, you have to get these trunks out first before your skin can be back to normal.
I aggravates the crap out of me that these lazy people come to these dirty places and let Incompetent Joe's or Jill's pluck on their faces and inflame the facial pores leaving deep pock marks down in their face, when they can be cleaning and using proper astringents to clean deep within the face pores and exfoliate the skin themselves. Why come to these places and get infected by these people ¿¿?????¿?

I wish they would show the end result of the work these techs do so that all the viewers that post nasty negative remarks can see they take the client and her/his condition seriously, they know what they are doing, so leave the uglyness alone and support the work.

People might complain about a pimple not popped to their standards or in the order in which they would like, but you can’t argue that Thuy doesn’t care about her clients. Here she is going above what is needed to help this man’s skin.., face, neck, and ears. I commend her. Not everyone has access to care... maybe he lives far, works odd hours, etc. But when they are able to come, she does her best to help. Thank you, Thuy.

The piercing with the needle doesn’t hurt. It’s the pressing on either side of the cyst that is very painful. I have a lot of scars now from my acne days. Always a reminder of my days when I had acne all over my back shoulders, chest, upper arms, behind the ears, groin area, and of course all over my face. I know what this guy is going through. Anyone who suffered with cystic acne always has low self esteem and insecure, especially when one gets a compliment. You’re happy the acne is finally under control but then every day you look in the mirror you see all the deep pitted scars all over your face. Just a reminder of the struggles with this skin condition. You’re always fighting low self esteem for the rest of your life. It’s a never ending battle. This is what all acne sufferers feel every day.
That is a very moving, and helpful reply. We are so quick to judge people by their appearance and not look further. I do hope that your life is happy and remember that our scars ( and I have a few from an accident) are just part of our story. X

Southeastern Asians have oily skin. I looked it up for you.
@@michaeljones9904 many factors, most likely genetic. I get bad acne flare ups partly due to genes but also due to certain triggers (stress etc.) I'd reccomend maybe phrasing your question a little less harsh next time as it sounds a little disrespectful. But yeah that's it :)

Agreed, take a second look. She empties half a blackhead, but nothing else. Won't touch a white head unless it's accidental, then she covers it up and moves on. Even if you pull a black head out, there's a 90% chance there's more under there. It's not satisfying and makes me sad. She has potential, but doesn't try.

That cotton gauze sheds more than my 4 year-old golden retriever. There are many alternatives that are much better and yet cotton gauze continues to be their go-to product for wiping the skin.
So many times there was more gunk that needed to be removed but wasn’t. I guess they’ll be big zits next week we’ll get to see!

The aesthetician only has a pre booked amount of time for each service typically an hour. This is a short video of that session. Treating patients that present with grade 3 or 4 acne vulgaris can be a challenge, in the US, it’s a legal no go without a physician’s approval. One must be fast, precise, highly experienced and methodical to do this service. These videos are done for the entertainment value for viewers and are not meant to be instructional. With that said we have no idea if she went back after the camera stops. It’s a given that this customer will be back for help! They face 6 months to a year before they’re clear and then follow ups. Besides Accutane and other pharmaceutical therapies or highly expensive laser/IPL treatments (which aren’t always recommended for fitz 4 patients) there is no other help available for this patient population. I am an aesthetician and instructor and my professional opinion is that she’s doing a lot of good for this patient. I’d love to know the pre and post extraction protocol. Don’t be so critical- think it through if it’s not your occupational field because chances are you haven’t considered all the variables involved.

Solution - don't watch them at all. Simple.
Ok people need to stop hating on thuy for not popping the pores how you want. It may not look like it but thuy is doing a good job and is helping her clients everyday. She sterilizes the area she is going to be working on before and after the procedure. She gives some of her clients creams to help if needed.

I totally agree. It drives me crazy also. I am always telling my screen damn don't forget that or omg look all that left in there. It starts really getting under my skin. I don't get it if your supposed to do a job then do it right. Leaving all those left overs in the pores will definitely cause big issues later. Ugh

She don't know what she's doing its like she rushing to see how much she can get done in 10 mins ,then ends up not doing her job properly.
Thuy's done this client such a great treatment by removing the cystic acne and blackheads from the neck area. Of course more sessions will be needed but this is a really good start on the road to clearer skin. 🙂

I've had acne off and on my whole life but have never had a zit on or near my ear. I wonder why some people get them there and others not.
My theory is the blackheads inside the ear are caused by prolonged earbud use, and the ones around the ear, from headphones.

Gauze can be too rough for inflammed skin
@@kvbstudios316 1- they do wash and steam the face first. 2- The gloves are there to get blood on. Would you ask a surgeon to change their bloody gloves? 3- this type of treatment is very effective at clearing the skin without leaving pitting or scars. You do a great job at cleaning out all the pores, notice most have a hair in them which probably causes some of this. When they leave, do they have instructions to keep clean until they see you again. They have a chance with you to clear up their skin. Would love to see a before and after results as you continue to improve their skin.
She doesn't clean out all the pores. She doesn't squeeze out all the cyst when she pops them. It's like she's afraid of blood.

When the client turned their head it was like a bloody crime scene!
These videos make me feel so awful for those with bad acne I used to suffer from acne on my jaw line and a bit on my throat when I was around 13 and they were extremely painful to remove much more so than the odd spot on face or the odd blackhead to squeeze out . But seeing these people suffer over here in the UK were used to just removing are own blackheads before they have a chance to reach this far it must be so so painful to have this many removed or squeezed out in such a short space of time . Thuy does amazing to cause a little pain as possible in her clients and you always get the feeling she genuinely cares about her patients 🥰❤️🥰

I can't believe that people think his ear looks bad. It's extremely mild compared to most other ears we see. He had a bunch of whiteheads and itsy bitsy little blackheads.

I want to know what happens AFTER! The client has. Bunch of hole in their face, some of their skin is still showing flakes. How is the client “cleaned up”...a facial perhaps. I want to see someone after it’s ALL done.

If you click the link to their website or Facebook under description (google translate the page if you need to), her services are listed. Under acne treatment, she has a 6-16 step process based on the person's needs. After the extractions, she will disinfect the skin, apply a mask, and use oxygen and light therapy.
