Hi, My brother appled for MBA course with Duolingo as English language proficiency he was given admission but with a preparatory couse University access program (UAP) in the past. However, he has now given IELTS exam and scoored 6.5 overall no band less than 6 with 6.5 band in writing I wonder if the admissions department Considers accpeting IELTS scorecard as New English language proficiency and Consider Direct admission into MBA without the need of taking UAP course as he meets all the admission requirements.

Hello, if you are a new student, you will be required to complete a course registration consent form once your start term approaches. From there, the RO will register you on your courses for the first term.

Hii, is 6.5 no band less than 6 and 6.5 in writing enough to get Direct entry in MBA program
For direct entry into our degree programs, you need to meet the requirements of a recognized English proficiency test such as Academic IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum 6.0 on the Writing band.

Of course, whenever you are not qualified, you will be placed in a foundation program so that UCW can make tons of money, and then you are qualified for the course.

Does ucw have a gym or a sports centre?
While our campuses do not have gym facilities inside in the campus, there are many fitness centres, gyms and exercise studios within walking distance of the campus.
No nothing. It is more like a business office in one of the mixed buildings. So when you go to the business, it even has other floors that are not part of UCW. On my first day of check-in, the school gave me ID in an unrenovated room on the first floor. When I say unrenovated, I mean the wall is not painted, and it is literally like a construction.

Hello, we do not provide placements at UCW. Our students and alumni are assisted by our Career Development Centre. The team works with students to help them explore career options, develop job search strategies and connect with potential employers.

International students studying at UCW may be eligible to work off-campus for up to 20-hours per week without a work permit if they have a valid study permit and meet Canadian government-set requirements. Does UCW provide Hostel stay?
Hello Anjali, we do not provide on-campus accommodation. However, UCW has partnered with 4stay to offer students a variety of housing and affordable rooms for rent around the University campus and Metro Vancouver. Students can choose from several accommodation options and pay no deposit. Students can book with confidence with 4stay’s guarantees. You can learn more at housing.ucanwest.ca. What’s wrong with you? This school is a cash cow and the only goal they have is to make money. They have many students who don’t even know English grammar.
