  • Standard Bank has raised the ire of some of the environmental activists. We saw a protest on Monday by environmental activists who expressed unhappiness with what they call the Bank's investment in the East African Crude Oil Pipeline project.
The project is meant to build a pipeline in 2025 spanning across East Africa that will transport crude oil from Uganda to Tanzania but some activists say this will not serve the continent.
We are now joined by Kenny Fihla, Standard Bank's CEO of Corporate and Investment banking.

Can’t stand environmentalists and their narrow view of world.

All for state-citizenry consultations with all stake holders involved and affected but Africa must me mindful of these poor Africans paid by these imperialists trying to make sure Africa doesn't grow and prosper economically and stays a permanent backwater while they keep eating the cake by themselves
