I am impressed by your creativity and ingenuity…. Who would have thought that these videos are made with just an iphone, a tripod and a gimbal!!! Not much of a subscriber of youtube videos but this made me do it…. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing your ability to shoot and illustrating how it works, using a phone, i learn a lot and i will apply this technique in my vlogs. God bless.
Another great video Steve, what continues to impress is that you keep it simple and show that equipment doesn’t have to be expensive. The other thing I notice with your videos is how you can make the plainest location look amazing just by using a little planning on foreground or height. Ideas I am trying to get into my brain. Thanks again for sharing your ideas
Spectacular work again Steve, I am learning more about filming videos by the minute with you and so enjoying the locations that you are choosing as I am thinking of filming in outdoor locations as well, places that offer many textures and colours. I guess it is all down to practice!!! Thank you for another great video tutorial, it will be extremely useful to many of us for sure!!!!
Just tried my first ever cinematic b roll. Even though I forgot absolutely loads of these pearls of wisdom it looks ok( great for me ) uploaded it yesterday. Gimbal and a ninja walk is my next investment 👍 Wish I had of started watching your tutorials earlier.
Thanks so much! Your tutorials are incredibly helpful and practical 🙏 I always feel like going out and filming straight after watching one of your videos!
You are amazing your tips are working so good. Easy to understand. I wish more youtubers could make tutorials with the same way. Great video. Well done
Hey Steve! I wanted to reach out to say a BIG THANK YOU!!! This video and the trick you showed were so great, it inspired me to go out and shoot with a light stand and my smartphone immediately And the shots turned out AWESOME!!! Please keep bringing this kind of straight-to-the-point tutorials and inspiring beginners like me!
I do this often in my videos too. But you shoud use a hip „bag“ gear when using long poles to give the pole a stable anchor point on your hip. I use a fishing rod holder that is great for that. Also instead a lightstand buy a microphone pole like me. With 15ft and 3kg payload it gives way better results.
bro , i love to shot stuff and make videos and i didn't have any knowledge how to create something like prof. after i watched your video , you gave me a lot of tips I've learnt now , thank you so much and from now on i will be one of your fans
Really good stuff. I use an extendable window cleaning pole, there are painter ones too, with an adapter on the end for a tripod screw. Light and easy to hold.
Thank you for showing how to take great video shots with nice examples. Learned a lot and will try using your use tips and skills. Like your video very much. A fans from Hong Kong
I just love your tips so much my friend. You are simply amazing. I have used lot of your techniques for my Channel and Received good results. So grateful to you. I am an Engineer and love these techniques - Munia
Im Glad that i drop and watch some ur videos..very educational, but i love this one, there's a lot of tourist spots here in the Philippines that i like to shoot. Thanks to u Steve. God Bless. And my deepest sympathy for the passing of your Queen.🙏😇
Hi Steve! New Subscriber here from California! I vlog about flowers and gardens and your videos have helped me immensely! Thank you! Keep up the great work!
Nice thing! But did you use shutter speed (motionblur amount) 48/50 for that 24 fps. I mean wich Camera App did u use becouse it's not possible in any App but in pro mode it is (if it has) or in some App that you have to buy maybe.
This channel is an absolute revelation! The most brilliant hacks for getting pro looking shots from simple gear
