what I don't get is the anime it was based off of has more than enough material for an extra season possibly 2. so I don't knw why they ended it. I understand if that's where the manga was at the time, but with the extra chapters and all why not push a few extra seasons? plus a new manga just started with a new batch of girls at a different school (same universe) and its going on at the same time as the k-on girls are in highschool so it would be a great publicity op for the new manga if they pushed that extra season or two I mentioned. I don't see why not. but meh, fans don't matter right ? v_v
@@patricksweet3354 KyoAni isn't a company that seems to be driven by profit. Plus the manga wasn't even very good to begin with. Naoko Yamada (the director) took what was a fairly average 4 panel comic and turned it into something with heart and soul. It's possible they could make more based off of K-On College!, but it would be potentially dangerous. It splits up the group into two stories and the new characters introduced into the college group are kinda meh. But the newest manga has completely new characters, so making a show that didn't even haven HTT would be pointless. And of course KyoAni cares about their work enough to not make pointless cash grabs.
Honestly, I think this one suits Mio WAY better. love the singing from both characters/actresses, but Mio's got the force and depth to fit this, specific one WAY better.

The song is made for Yui but the lyrics sound something Mio would say. Makes sense since she wrote it but I don't really see Yui as much of a romantic person. She's so child-like. However Mio is different on the other hand since she has the soft side to her but it's hard to get to because of her Tsundere tendencies
if a season 3 is ever made, then we'll be guaranteed to hear it, as the new k-onbu plays fuwa fuwa time at the school festival, the bad is composed of Azusa as the lead guitar, Ui as the rhythm guitarist, jun as the bassist and new comer Sumire as the drummer. I really wish for the manga to be made into the 3rd season

She's PERFECT!: Mature, Very Shy, Scaredy-cat and has a some stage fright. The closest on other series would be Umi Sonoda from Love Live (Shy and has Stage Fright but she isn't a scaredy-cat), and they both have flat, black hair! (closer to a japanese girl ^_^)

Before I knew of the anime, I actually felt this way as well - I could never get into Yui's voice. Yui is clearly the better frontperson, though.
