It is almost impossible to do the thing about "forgetting the mood and feels from an anime after you done watching it" But yeah there is other thing that can affect your mood and your memories to elaborate more to the anime even when you already done, the thing such as : special event like Maybe when you graduating from school or got into higher grade, when you remembering about school thing, when you in mood for fun and chill thing about Music (K-on Indeed have connections that mixed with chill and relaxing light story).
This anime brings back a lot of memories. I remember watching this in-between my studies. I was in my secondary level by those times. My high school life became more entertaning and fun having to watch this. Thank you K-On!

Go for it! There's a surprisingly big amount of piano transcriptions of all the K-On Songs on the internet, most of them also not too hard, so that would definitely be a good start for learning.

The one who's playing bass for Mio is a monster, this is coming from somebody who's been -playing bass for 35 years. K-On is my guilty -pleasure, loved it for years. please bring it back.
Watching this show was one of the things that got me to pick up guitar when I was 14. Now here I sit, 6 years later, jamming out on my Ibanez having finally bought my first Marshall tube amp. It's interesting to go back a bit in my personal history like this. I kinda miss being a beginner, and having no clue what I was doing.
If it helps I watched the first half and it's really really cute except for the plot line with the teacher but that's not scary except her fashion choices
I wanna cry in "Fuwa Fuwa Time" part, cuz that is my childhood.. It was in elementary school and now i'll become a lecturer soon.. but i still love K-on
